The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2225: The strongest in the Abyssalcrown Empyrean World

There was a massive obsidian castle floating above the richest continent of the entire Abyssalcrown Empyrean World. To call it a castle was an understatement; it was vast enough to be considered a city in its own right.

The spiritual energy saturating the structure was so pure that even Prima Deities could cultivate with it and see exceptional results. Tens of millions could have lived inside its walls, yet the true population was less than ten thousand.

Its name was the Infernal Crow, the dwelling place of those seated at the absolute peak of the caste system—those who ruled the world with an iron hand. Usually, the Infernal Crow was a place of unbroken serenity and decadent laughter, its residents basking in luxuries seized from every corner of the world. But for the past several weeks, the city had grown unnervingly quiet. A somber, oppressive tension hung in the air, spreading through every corridor and courtyard like a disease.

At the heart of the floating obsidian fortress, nine individuals sat around a circular chamber. All of them were members of the Abyssal Clan, bearers of the purest and most sacred bloodlines, and leaders of the royal lineages. Normally, these figures remained composed and aloof, their pride unshakable. Today, however, their expressions were twisted with frustration and barely contained fury.

They had reason to be unsettled.

One by one, every stronghold, fortress, and hidden bastion under their control had been annihilated over the past months. Thousands of Prima Deities and several ArchDeities had vanished without leaving behind so much as a droplet of blood.

Whoever the culprit was, their ruthlessness and efficiency were unmatched; the Third Realm population across the world had been reduced by nearly ninety-nine percent. Even more terrifying was that the group responsible left no traces. Every time the Abyssal Clan believed they had located one of these mysterious assassins, the target vanished without a footprint, as though they knew the Abyssals’ moves long before they made them.

”Could it be the Light Army?” one ArchDeity asked, frustration cracking through his composed façade. ”The legion we sent after them disappeared right before these fortress attacks began.”

”Don’t be foolish,” another snapped immediately. ”If the Light Army possessed such power, why would they have hidden like frightened rodents all this time? And besides, those creatures are Light Races. There is no possible way a slave caste could produce beings this strong.”

The logic was meaningless, especially during a crisis that threatened the very survival of their order, yet every Abyssal present nodded in agreement. Even now, when entire continents lay shattered and their greatest cities had burned, their xenophobia remained a stronger force than common sense.

The arguments continued, voices rising and overlapping, no one offering solutions, only fear disguised as anger.

Only one figure remained silent.

At the center of the chamber sat an old man whose body radiated vitality like a burning star. His lifeforce was so dense it seemed to warp the air around him. The most striking feature of the old Abyssal, however, was the presence of three faces—a trait unique to his lineage. His name was Draco, Ancestor of the Cerberus Royal Clan and the single strongest individual in the entire Abyssalcrown Empyrean World.

Draco ignored the shouting of the other ArchDeities. Their arguments were cyclical, rooted in arrogance rather than reason, and he had no patience for it. His gaze remained fixed instead on the dark void beyond the chamber’s enchanted window—where a single golden portal pulsed with ancient, eerie brilliance.

”It all began shortly after that thing appeared,” Draco murmured, his three voices overlapping into a deep, resonant tone. ”It cannot be a coincidence.”

He remembered well the moment the portal tore through the void, its presence stabbing into his mind with a call that was at once seductive and horrifying. A power beyond comprehension had urged him to cross its threshold and confront whatever monstrosities lurked beyond. But Draco had resisted. Partially out of caution—and partially because someone far more terrifying than himself had warned him never to approach it.

Even now, he wanted to step through it, to discover what truths lay on the other side, to grasp answers to the crisis ravaging his world. But the command he had received was absolute, and Draco dared not defy it.

The useless discussion continued for a few more moments until Draco finally slammed one of his hands against his throne. The impact echoed through the chamber like thunder, instantly silencing all voices.

”Enough.” His central face stared forward with calm authority while the two flanking faces narrowed with irritation. ”Whoever this enemy is, they skulk in the shadows because they fear us.”

His voice carried such gravity that confidence surged through the other Abyssals. Their expressions hardened; pride rekindled in their hearts.

”We will hunt them down,” Draco continued. ”We will drag them into the open. And once they stand before us, the only thing they will be able to do is tremble in dread and horror.”

Cold, predatory smiles spread across the ArchDeities’ faces as they nodded. The air thickened with anticipation and bloodlust.

”Hmph. If only one of those rats were here now,” one ArchDeity sneered. ”I would enjoy tearing them apart—slowly.”

He had barely finished the sentence when the entire floating city trembled.

For a heartbeat, the Abyssal powerhouses froze—unable to comprehend what they had just felt.

Then, to their shock, every defensive formation, barrier, and energy shield around the Infernal Crow collapsed in an instant, as though erased by an invisible hand.

Before anyone could react, a figure materialized in the center of the chamber.

A young man stood there—his eyes glowing with scarlet flames, three stars orbiting slowly around his forehead. His aura was cold, predatory, ancient. He raised one hand, and a sphere of swirling starlight and white flame condensed in his palm.

”Endsphere.”

With that single word, Cain released the sphere into the ground.

A heartbeat later, the entire chamber erupted in a blinding explosion of stellar annihilation that spread across the entire city!
