Chapter 437: ’Ruler of the Eternal Nirvana’, Riya’s ’Path’ of Love... Part-1.

While Lia and Riko were struggling to keep Alverto, Riya finally stopped pouring her healing magic into Jin’s body.

”Phew... this will do for now...”

’The Heart of Eternal Nirvana’ is the highest possible healing ability in this world, and Riya has mastered it to 50% and above.

Her healing capabilities are now already almost equal to an SS-ranker in terms of quality or quantity in terms of basic healing.

Moreover, she even has the power of the ’Laws’ of ’Healing, Cure, and Protection’ in her legendary technique, which makes it even more effective when dealing with unusual circumstances.

Jin used his own life force, mana, and even his own potential to cut off Alverto’s connection to the ’Spire of Ascension’.

Even if it were an SS rank or any other healer, it would have been impossible to save his life, but a healer who has the ’Heart of Eternal Nirvana’ is different.

Riya’s power can basically be concluded in one sentence: ’As long as the injured person has even one breath left, they can still be healed.’

That’s just how domineering the power of this legendary technique is.

Lia and Riya managed to retrieve Jin’s body on time; thus, Riya was able to heal him while he still had some life left in him.

Riya poured immense amounts of life force that she had been collecting from all of the demons she slaughtered while coming here into Jin’s body.

She used the power of the ’Laws’ of ’Healing, Cure, and Protection’ to heal, protect, and cure Jin’s body at the same time altogether.

’But... I am afraid that he will never be the same again after this...’

Even though Riya saved Jin’s life, she’s not a ’God’. She can’t return him to the state he originally was.

Jin used the power of the ’law’ of ’Death’ to make a trade; even Riya can’t reverse the side effects caused by it.

The only reason he’s even alive is that Riya’s legendary technique directly counters the ’laws’ of ’Death’ and is the exact opposite of them, thus making it more effective.

If not for the unique circumstances, Jin would have definitely died.

’For starters... he will definitely lose his future potential completely; moreover, his rank will fall and using mana will become extremely difficult in the future...’

’A trade with the law of death is no small matter; the damage caused by it is irreversible...’

Riya stood up and sighed heavily as she rubbed her temples.

’Ugh, I feel so exhausted after using my powers to this extent... Moreover, I lost all the life force I collected from the demon while coming here...’

Riya couldn’t help but feel bad about this.

’In the first place, I was collecting all that life force so I could use it for Link... sigh...’

While thinking about various things in her head, she walked over to a nearby broken area of the floor and glanced down to see the current situation.

’Even Mr. Jin lost to him... no wonder Lia and Riko aren’t able to keep up with him... he’s just playing with them and isn’t even serious about fighting...’

’This situation is the worst...’

Riya immediately noticed Riko’s state from just a single look from afar, and a look of frustration appeared on her face.

”This!?”

First it was Jin, and now it’s Riko who’s burning her own life force to fight. Riya couldn’t help but feel frustrated just by looking at all this.

As a person who’s extremely sensitive to life force, she feels extremely uncomfortable when someone destroys their own life in such a reckless way.

’What kind of method is she using!? How is she burning her life force at such an insanely fast speed!?’

’At this rate, she won’t live more than an hour!! This is insanity!’

Riya wanted to relieve herself of all this pent-up stress and frustration; thus, she subconsciously tried to bring out candies from her space ring, but then she remembered there was none.

’Ugh... this is the worst...’

”Hmm?”

Just when Riya was feeling helpless, she suddenly noticed a familiar life force from the distance and looked back with a smile on her face.

’Now this is what I am talking about...’

...

Meanwhile, Lower Floor.

”Are you two done jumping around like clowns... I am starting to get bored of you two...”

Alverto spoke in a dissatisfied tone, and a look of boredom appeared on his face under the helmet.

Even though Lia and Riko were bombarding him with hundreds of attacks every single second, he was completely unfazed.

In fact, he hasn’t even moved a single inch from the original spot he stood.

”Like I said, except for Jin Walt and Ashtel Rex, the rest of you guys are not directly able to create much trouble for me...”

”And I have already dealt with both of them, so I have already won this battle, just surrender, you guys are beyond saving anymore...”

”I will leave you an intact corpse if you willingly surrender now...”

Alverto just sighed at the two girls that were trying their best to bring him down.

He glanced towards Lia and spoke in a mocking tone.

”Well, you could have actually caused me some trouble if you had one or even two more years to grow...”

”At that point, your spirit and power would have reached a level that it could even pose a threat to me... it’s a good thing that I got the chance to crush you before you grew up...”

A smirk appeared on Alverto’s face as he felt proud of his own feats.

”It was a good thing to summon the ’Spire of Ascension’ early after all...”

[Chronos: Spear Type: Lance of Untimely Death!]

”Farewell...”

*BOOOM!*

Alverto took his stance and launched at Lia at an extremely fast speed; he was so fast that he seemed like he was teleporting.

In just a blink of an eye, his spear’s tip had already reached in front of Lia’s eye.

In that instant, Lia felt ’Death’ being face-to-face with her.

[Healing Domain: Coordinate Switch!]

At that exact moment, an extremely wide healing domain unfolded in the area and instantly teleported Lia away from danger.

*BOOOM!*

The spacetime fabric itself cracked and started breaking a little bit in the place where Lia was originally standing from the impact caused by the spear attack.

”Hoh... Now this is an interesting power...”

Alverto turned back and his eyes narrowed as he saw a boy standing in the air with a girl sticking to his back in ’Astral Form’.

The boy’s dark red hair waved in the air, and his life force and aura visibly skyrocketed as the girl on his back poured immense power boosts on him.

”Now what is this technique? Transformation?”

A smirk appeared on Link’s face as he saw Riya effortlessly saving Riya.

Riya’s healing domain considers her allies as ’Patients’ and it can teleport those ’Patients’ to her side in an instant so that she can heal them.

Or she can teleport to their side instead.

This ability is not as fast and as powerful as the SS-ranker’s instantaneous teleportation ability, but it’s enough to contend with Alverto, who’s fallen to S-rank.

”This overwhelming and immense life force...”

Even Alverto was shocked after seeing Link and Riya in that combined state; their life force and power both got boosted to an extreme level.

Not only does Riya’s astral form provide ’Infinite Healing’ to Link in this state, but it also provides immense boosts to his power and all other aspects.

”No wonder Rio said I should go and see what’s taking them so long to deal with the user of soul-related skills; it was you who blocked their path...”

Link glanced at Riko and Lia, who were pulled by Riya to his side just now, before speaking in a calm tone.

”Good thing I came over to support...”

Link glanced towards Lia and spoke calmly.

”Rio sent me over because you guys were taking too long; he said that if the problem of soul skill user is not dealt with in the next ten minutes, he will also come over, ignoring the rushing monsters...”

”Let’s finish this guy before Rio comes over; otherwise, he will look down on us for being incompetent...”

Lia also heaved a sigh of relief after seeing Link and Riya appear on the battlefield.

She has already fought Alverto and knows that she alone can’t beat him; his every attack is extremely lethal.

They need someone who can block Alverto’s attack, and Link, who’s supported by Riya’s healing magic, is the perfect meat shield for blocking attacks.

”Then, we need to put extra effort then...”

Link also nodded his head.

”I will block all of his attack; you two focus on pure offense! Let’s go!”

[Dao Rhythm!]

[Divine Dragon Martial Art: Heaven’s Equal: Body of the Undying Dragon Sage!]

As Link used his skills, Riya also provided extra boosts.

[Blessing of World’s Protection!]

Uses the ability of the ’Law’ of ’Protection’ to influence the ’World’ to protect someone for ’Instant Death’ effect and increases all resistance by 10 times.

[Blessing of World’s Aura!]

Forces the ’World’ through the ’Heart of Eternal Nirvana’ to give the blessed person the ’Aura’ and ’Favor’ of the ’World’ making them immune to ’Miasma’.

[Blessing of World’s Gaze!]

Forces the ’World’ through the ’Heart of Eternal Nirvana’ to ’Gaze’ at the blessed and grant them immense precision. Increases the effect of all skills by 10 times.

[Blessing of World’s Support!]

Forces the ’World’ itself to support the blessed in subtle ways. Increases the chance of avoiding injuries tremendously.

[Blessing of World’s Stable Realms!]

Forces the world to grant the blessed person the ability to stabilize their body in a ’fixed’ realm. Grants 90% resistance to ’Space-type’ attacks.

All the buffs that Riya granted to Link were exclusively meant to restrict Alverto. Even Link was shocked by their immense powers.

’Do you think only Rio and Link learned something from you after the last encounter?’

’No, I was the one who learned to counter you the most... you should have been the most wary of me instead of the others!’
