Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 426: Link and Rio, An Unbeatable Combo... Part-2.

”Gimme a strong push...”

Rio stomped into the air, altered his trajectory mid-air, and headed straight for Link.

There was no need for any further instructions; Link just knew what Rio was going to do by instinct.

[Divine Dragon Arts: Heavenʼs Equal: Void Breaker!]

Linkʼs eyes narrowed as he immediately took his stance and kicked towards Rio with immense force.

*BOOOM!*

The kick was so strong that it broke the sound barrier in an instant, and even the void trembled from its might. It was unbelievably strong!

Even S-rankers might get fatal internal damage if they get hit by such a powerful attack, but Rio did care at all!

[Sword Intent!]

Rio increased the concentration of sword intent on his legs and stepped on Linkʼs feet. *BOOOM!*

As Rioʼs sword intent collided with Linkʼs Dao rhythm, powerful shockwaves spread in all directions, and Rio flew towards a nearby pursuing undead at an insanely high speed.

[Elemental Sword Art: Thunder Type: Raging Thunder Dragon!]

A gigantic dragon made up of thunder elementals manifested in the air swallowed the undead in its maw, causing it to get electrocuted by several million volts of thunder instantly.

This caused the undead wearing metal armor to stop in its tracks, and that millisecond worth of delay was enough for Rio.

As he flew past the other party, Rio easily sliced off his entire body along with the helmet into several pieces!

The powerful thunder pushed away all the other undead, thus Rio was able to focus on a single one.

As the sliced off pieces of the undead knight fell down, Link raised his fist and smirked to himself.

[Dao Rhythm!]

[Link Style Martial Art: Water Splash!]

As if splashing water, Link spread his dao Rhythm in a wide area as he punched, causing the sliced-off body of the undead to get caught in it.

And the very moment the sliced undead body came in contact with the dao rhythm, it started to burn and turn into powder until it completely disappeared into nothingness.

Dao Rhythm represents ʼharmonyʼ. An undead is stuck between life and death, so itʼs not in harmony with the world of the living or the dead.

Thus, itʼs easier for Dao Rhythm to destroy undead-type monsters, as just touching it once will cause their body to start burning from that particular part, and it wonʼt stop until the entire body is purified.

Dao Rhythm is an unavoidable natural death for the undead!

”It had a decent effect... It seems you havenʼt yet mastered ʼDao Rhythmʼ to past 50%... you are going to fall behind at this rate, you know?”

”Even Riya has reached past 50%... How slow can you be to get beaten by her sigh...”

Rio also jumped down and stood beside Link in mid-air.

Hearing his words, blood veins popped on Linkʼs face due to anger.

”You are the one to talk? When I asked you for an effective training method, what was your response? ʼMake tea; tea is the answer to all problems in the world!ʼ...”

”Are you serious!? Ugh... I was an idiot that I believed you; making tea with a legendary skill is impossible!! Itʼs extremely difficult!!”

”Every time I try it, the tea cup blasts on my face!!”

Rio simply shrugged his shoulders at those words and replied in his usual emotionless tone.

”Are you sure those cups arenʼt cracking because you were staring at them too hard with your ugly ahh face, and they couldnʼt stand it anymore?”

Even more blood viens appeared on Linkʼs face as he heard those words.

”What!? You wanna fight me, you stone-faced robot!?”

Hearing those words, Rio just shook his head.

”No way... I donʼt want to get my sword dirty with the blood of a red-haired muslehead... Using my sword intent on someone weaker than Riya will be an insult to my

swordsmanship...”

While Rio and Link were fighting each other, the remaining S ranker rushed towards them at full speed and caused a powerful sonic boom.

[Elemental Sword Art: Wind Type: Coiling Vortex!]

[Divine Dragon Arts: Merging shockwave!]

Rio swung his sword in a half-moon manner and fired a massive tornado of wind elementals at the S-rank undead.

Link also took his stance at the exact same moment as Rio, as if he already knew what Rio was going to do, and he immediately used a technique that will be completely compatible with Rioʼs.

As his punch hit the air, he produced an extremely powerful shockwave and then embedded it in a Rio wind vortex attack using his own ʼDao Rhythm,ʼ thus increasing itʼs power by ten times at once!

*BOOOM!!*

Each strand of the wind in the tornado was made up of condensed wind elements, and each of them works like a sword!

If it even grazes you, it will leave a deep cut as if being sliced by a sword, and if you inhale it, then even your lungs and internal organs will get sliced, and you will get injured from inside

out.

Moreover, now that every wind elemental is also enhanced with Linkʼs shockwave skill made of Dao Rhythm, itʼs even more lethal, and getting hit by it will not only slice but will also do a powerful blast of shockwave!

All of the six armored undead were blasted off into various directions by that one combo attack at insanely high speed, and their armors were now ridiculed with hundreds of cuts and giant holes made by shockwaves!

Even the bones of the undead inside them had cracks on them now.

”Just now, you saw through what I was going to use... I guess I will have to praise you for that;

for a third-rate martial artist, you are still decent at least...”

Link smirked, spoke simultaneously with Rio, and crossed his arms.

”Hmph, not bad for a warmup move; I can see that your wing type attacks have improved in range; quite an elegant move for a stone-faced robot, I would say...”

As the two said those words at the exact same time, it took a few seconds to figure out what the other party was saying, so the area became dead silent for a few seconds.

*BOOOOM!*

Linkʼs punch and Rio Sword collided with each other, and a powerful shockwave spread in all directions, causing the debris to fly away in all directions.

”Hah? Me a third-rate martial artist!?”

”Stop calling me a stone-faced robot or you will lose your tongue...”

Once again, the two of them talked at the exact same moment, and powerful sparks of collision flew in all directions as Dao Rhythm and Sword Intent collided with each other!

A collision between two ʼLegendary skillsʼ produces unbelievable amounts of energy and shockwaves, as both are basically the manifestation of the ʼlawsʼ of the world!

And now that the two of them have such high control over their legendary techniques, itʼs making their legendary skill even more dangerous!

While Rio and Link were giving each other death stares and imaginary sparks of lightening were flying between them, the six Undead S rankers barely managed to get up.

All of their bodies had started to burn as they were all hit by Dao Rhythm earlier.

As they were short on time, they all immediately raised their weapons and attacked Link and

Rio at once.

Two of them even had bows, and they fired extremely fast arrows at both Rio and Link!

*Clink!!**Clung!*

One of the arrows came flying towards Rio and hit him in the shoulder, but as his whole body was covered in ʼSword Intentʼ it got deflected in another direction and didnʼt even reach Rio.

As for the other arrow that flew towardʼs Link, it hit him directly in the eye and shattered on the spot.

”Oi, stop firing in my eye! You archers are all such weirdos! Last time was the same too!...”

An arrow fired by a literal peak S rank archer shattered on the spot after hitting Link in the

eyeball!

It was such a shocking scene that even Rio couldnʼt believe his eyes for a second. ʼWhat the f*ck!... What even is this guy made up of!? Just how tanky this guy even is!? I doubt

he can even tank my 90% sword intent with bare hands...ʼ

Rio has been sparring and fighting with Link for more than two years now; thus, he knows that

the other party is very tanky.

But even he was shocked when he saw such an unbelievable scene.

That arrow was enough to instakill an ordinary peak A ranker, but for Link it was even weaker

than a mosquitoʼs sting.

While Rio was shocked at Linkʼs insane tankyness, Link was also looking at Rio from the

corner of his vision.

ʼWhat the f*ck did I just see? He f*cking deflected an arrow from an S-ranker without even

touching it!?ʼ

ʼThe f*ck does this guy even eat to have such insane control over his ʼSword Intentʼ... I doubt

he can easily dodge my punches with this insane skill!!ʼ

Unknowingly, Rio and Link became even more wary about each otherʼs abilities, thinking that they both were insanely strong!

[Divine Dragon Arts: Failure Bane: Abnormal Weapon Bender!]

[Elemental Sword Art: Light Type: Spears of piercing light!]

This time Link took the lead, and Rio instantly saw through it and figured out what he was

going to use; thus, he also used a sword attack that will be compatible with Linkʼs move! Linkʼs weapon-bending attack is specially meant to repel weapon attack barrages; this is a counterattack that he came up with to deal with Rioʼs insanely high-speed attacks that are like an endless barrage!

This attack bursts out a powerful wind blast that is embedded with Dao Rhythm and specifically targets weapons and pushes them away for a small instance.

That small instance may seem small to others, but for Rio, that was the perfect opportunity to

attack!

He covered his sword in light elementals and used thrust attacks to fire thousands of spears made up of light elements!
