As the scene deepened, Lin Yi habitually examined the surrounding environment.

In the past, Lin Yi didn’t have such a habit.

It was nurtured after joining the Central Guards Brigade.

The so-called hospital was built from prefabricated houses. There were four floors in total, but due to the prefabricated structure, the ceiling height was lower compared to a standard building. It it were a normal house, it would only measure around three floors tall.

According to the game’s instructions, as long as he could climb to the top of the fourth floor, you would be considered to have won.

However, if he was caught by an NPC midway, he would have to leave the game immediately. The tickets would be considered burned.

There was also a strong note that one would have to pay compensation for beating up a staff member.

After standing in the tent for a while, everyone gradually adapted to the environment.

Even the girls were no longer afraid. Like Lin Yi, they simply observed the situation inside.

However, they were also observing Lin Yi.

“Look at that little brother in the white half-sleeved shirt. He’s really handsome,” a long-haired girl whispered. She was wearing the same denim shorts as Liang Ruoxu.

However, her legs were not as long as Liang Ruoxu’s, nor were they as pretty as hers.

“Why do I feel like he’s a celebrity?” Another short-haired girl said.

“I think he’s prettier than celebrities. It’s a pity that he has a girlfriend.”

“Cough, cough, cough…”

“Ding Wei, can’t you have some taste? Look at his figure. He can’t compare to Brother Pang at all. He can’t give you a sense of security.”

The person who spoke was called Zhao Zhen. He was a little fat and dressed very fashionably.

“And my Brother Pang is a national second-tier weightlifter. A boy like him will fall with one push.”

“This is a harmonious society. Why do you guys challenge others the moment you open your mouth?” Ding Wei rolled her eyes.

“Although it’s a harmonious society, we might encounter danger at any time.

It’s better to be careful.”

The person who spoke was called Pang Yong. He was not tall, only about 1.7 meters.

Because he was a weightlifter, his figure was extremely muscular, making him seem very unpolished.

When he looked at Lin Yi, his eyes were filled with disdain, as if he was saying that he was just handsome and nothing else.

What’s the big deal?

“Alright, alright. Let’s get ready too. We can’t just stand here,” Zhao Zhen said. After a simple preparation, the group walked towards the dilapidated hospital. The environment inside the hospital was completely different from outside. The sun was shining brightly outside, but it was dark and humid inside. There was even the sound of water dripping followed by sobbing.

Lin Yi’s hearing was sharper than others. He could even hear whispers.

It was a woman.

It seemed to be saying: Give me back my child… Give me back my child…

Lin Yi nodded. He felt that this environment was not bad. It was quite an immersive experience.

Moreover, they had to solve a riddle to escape. It was indeed quite interesting. However, Liang Ruoxu was not afraid at all. This matter was a little f*cked up. “Ah!”

As soon as she reached the hall on the first floor, she heard a scries of screams. “Someone is coming from behind!”

Hearing the girl’s scream, everyone turned around.

To their surprise, they saw a group of people in hospital gowns rushing in from outside the courtyard.

However, the people’s faces were covered in blood. There were also varying degrees of decomposition to their flesh. There were even two people with severed arms.

Although they were all made up with makeup and special effects, because the special effects were very good, it looked realistic.

“It’s also quite interesting.”

Liang Ruoxu was a little excited. It was not because she was afraid, but because she found the things in front of her novel.

If only she could shoot, she would be able to experience what it felt like to shoot a zombie.

“Hurry up and block the door. If they catch us, we’ll have to leave.”

Hearing a boy’s shout, the boys ran over.

Lin Yi was no exception. Since he was here to play, he naturally had to take it seriously.

The six boys jogged toward the hospital’s main entrance. Ma Qiang was among them. He hid himself well, like a tourist.

The six of them blocked the door and locked it, successfully blocking the NPCs that were about to rush in.

“These NPCs are a little weak. I didn’t even use much strength and they were already stopped outside,” Zhao Zhen said very easily.

“Isn’t that obvious? Brother Pang is a weightlifter and an international second-class athlete. He can easily block the door.”

“Haha, you’re right. Brother Pang is awesome.”

“It’s alright. Actually, I didn’t use much strength. I only pushed a little,” Pang Yong said casually.

After saying that, he even stretched his body, as if he was showing off his muscles.

The reason why he felt relaxed was because Lin Yi had used too much strength. It had nothing to do with him.

“How can we compare to you? You crush us with minimal effort.” Pang Yong laughed and did not refute. He felt that it was natural.

After that, everyone returned to their female companions and entered the resuscitation room of the hospital, preparing to start looking for clues.

Lin Yi realized that the set was very professional. It was similar to a proper hospital’s emergency room.

“Hey, there’s a newspaper on the floor.”

Ding Wei picked up the newspaper and the others gathered around.

“There are actually ten children who have mysteriously disappeared here?” “This kind of story setting is very cliche. Don’t make a fuss,” Pang Yong said. “My guess is that these ten children are probably the key to solving the riddle.” “Brother Pang is right. Let’s try to find other clues.” Zhao Zhen said.

“But be careful. Don’t touch the set.”

Because they had found useful clues, everyone was immersed in the game of solving the mystery of the Haunted House.

Lin Yi and Liang Ruoxu didn’t join in. They were going to follow behind and slack off.

Instead of standing together to solve puzzles, it was better to take a good look around.

Ring ring ring!

Just as everyone was engrossed in solving the puzzle, the sound of a copper bell suddenly sounded. It was like the school bell that rang after class more than ten years ago.

The sudden sound shocked everyone. They were even a little at a loss, and their hair stood on end.

“What’s going on? Why is the bell ringing?” The little fatty, Zhao Zhen, said. “Don’t start arguing. I think I heard footsteps,” Pang Yong said.

Whoosh!

When the crowd quieted down, the emergency room door was knocked open and a dozen people rushed in.

These people were all wearing hospital gowns. There were both men and women. All of them had disheveled hair and were in a mess. Their clothes were covered in blood.

Some of them were holding baseball bats, some were holding chairs, and there were even two men holding chainsaws. They were real chainsaws!

Moreover, these people were speaking eloquently, glaring angrily at Lin Yi and the others. They used the voice changer to simulate strange voices.

“Tell me, where did you hide the child?!”

“Give us back the baby!”

“Otherwise, I’ll kill you!”
