After hearing Wang Hanshan’s words, Josem and the others began to discuss among themselves. After more than ten minutes, they finally came to a conclusion.

“Mr. Wang, we’ve just discussed it. There are a total of two options for you to choose from.”

“Alright, go ahead,” Wang Hanshan said with a smile, hiding all his emotions in his heart.

“First, we will take back all the components. Apart from that, we also need 30 billion dollars in compensation from the other party.”

Wang Hanshan and Zhao Xia subconsciously glanced at Lin Yi.

They realized that he was leaning against the sofa with his legs crossed and his face expressionless. He didn’t seem to have any thoughts on this.

“This plan is too ridiculous. We can’t accept it.” Wang Hanshan said.

“Mr. Josem, let’s talk about the second plan.”

“The second plan is that we need the Lingyun Group to go public as soon as possible and then hand over 51% of their shares. These are the two options we discussed. You can consider it before making a decision.”

Josem didn’t waste any time and threw the ball to Lin Yi.

“These two requests are too much. We can’t agree to them.”

“Then there’s nothing we can do. This is our bottom line.” Josem shrugged and said,

“If this negotiation can’t continue, let’s call it a day. I’ve arranged lunch, and I want to invite all three of you to enjoy it together.”

Josem’s arrogant attitude made Wang Hanshan and Zhao Xia angry.

This was too much!

“We’re not done yet. Don’t be in a hurry to eat.” Lin Yi, who had been silent, smiled.

“We’ve already given you a solution. Have you made your decision, Mr. Lin?” Josem asked with a smile.

“Why would I agree to such f*cking stupid plans? You guys don’t know me too well.”

Wang Hanshan pursed his lips. No wonder Shen Shuyi told him several times to control Lin Yi’s emotions before he left.

To curse during such an important occasion showed just how bad his temper was.

“Then what do you want? I guess you’re the real mastermind behind this, so you’re also qualified to negotiate with me.”

“I just want to tell you two things. First, I have a twelve percent stake in Cymer. Similarly, I have a twelve percent stake in Intel. Second, I have a vote in both. I’m sure you know what that means.”

As soon as these words were spoken, everyone present was stunned. Everyone, including Josem and his team, stared at Lin Yi with disbelief as if they were looking at their god.

“That’s impossible. How can you own Cymer and Intel shares!”

“If you don’t believe me, you can go and check. Do you think I’d joke with you under such circumstances?” Lin Yi leaned his head on his hand.

“As far as 1 know, in Cymer, holding 12% of the shares makes me their second-largest shareholder. In Intel, I have 12% of the shares. There, I’m the largest single shareholder. How much damage do you think 1 can do with these shares?”

Wang Hanshan and Zhao Xia’s hearts were pounding. If this news was announced, the Nasdaq would definitely suffer a huge loss. All the technological industries in Meiguo would be affected too. It might even bring about a new economic crisis.

In addition, Cymer was the best optical lens manufacturer in the world. It would be terrifying if a Huaxian person was a key stakeholder there. It might even affect Meiguo’s manufacturing industry.

Even so, this was nothing. What was important was the 12% of Intel’s shares.

This was a world-class company. Now that their largest shareholder had become a Huaxian, this would have a fatal impact on the CPU and semiconductor industry in Meiguo!

Realizing the seriousness of the problem, Josem and the others gathered together again and whispered to each other, discussing the solution to the problem.

This time, they were really panicking.

If it was not handled well, it would lead to a very terrifying disaster!

“Oh right, there’s one more thing 1 forgot to tell you guys. Intel’s chip was developed based on the second-generation source code. I’ve already developed the most advanced second-generation source code globally. If you give me another half a year, the source code for the third-generation chip will also be released, so don’t rely on AMD to save the day. They can’t beat me, and nor can you guys.” Lin Yi said.

“You can dream, but not while you’re still awake.”

To the people present, such news was no different from an atomic bomb exploding. It was hard for them to accept.

“Mr. Lin, I think we need to think about this. Let’s stop here for today and continue tomorrow.”

“Sure. I’ve got plenty of time to play with you guys. But before I do that, 1 want to see my people.”

Josem and the others discussed for a while before saying to Lin Yi,

“Yes, we’ll send her to the designated location later.”

“Alright, I hope you guys will keep your word.”

“We will. Don’t worry, Mr. Lin.”

“Let’s end today’s negotiations here,” Lin Yi said.

“At the same time, I hope that the next round of negotiations can be carried out as soon as possible. Don’t make me wait too long.”

“We’ll arrange it as soon as possible.”

After a few simple words, the meeting ended. The Huaxian consulate waited outside and brought Lin Yi and the other two back to their residence.

“Mr. Lin, you’re really amazing. In all these years, there aren’t many young people who could make me look at them in a different light. You’re the top figure amongst all of them,” Wang Hanshan said excitedly.

“To be honest, if my disappointing son was half as good as him, I would be satisfied,” Zhao Xia said.

“Actually, I didn’t want to expose myself so early, but 1 had no choice. These people were a little too pretentious, so I took out my two trump cards.”

“The older generation said to take one step at a time and look three steps ahead. You’ve really surpassed your master. You’ve looked further than three steps. You’re almost at the three hundredth step.”

“I had no other choice. When certain things are held back, it would undoubtedly take countless years to make up for the deficit. That path is bound to be impractical, and overtaking on a bend carries risks. That’s why I took out these insurance measures in advance.”

“Yeah.” Wang Hanshan sighed. As the leader of the Commerce Department, he knew these things too well.

“In the past, those martyrs who fought bloody battles were our national heroes. Now, businessmen like you are the role model of the new era. We should all learn from you.”

“Director Wang, you’re being too serious. I carried out my responsibility.”

“Alright, this topic has come to an end. Let’s have a good drink tonight.”

“No problem.”

Not long after, the car arrived at the embassy.

“You go ahead and enter first. I’ll wait here for a while. It shouldn’t be long before I join you.”

“Then let’s go and report the handover. We’ll talk later.”

“Okay.”

Lin Yi stood at the door. Not long after, the car responsible for fetching Tian Yan drove over.

Lin Yi personally went down to open the door for her, but as soon as she got out of the car, Tian Yan hugged him.

“I knew you would come..”
