664 How Much? I’ll Buy It Now

“Then let’s do it like that,” Lin Yi said.

“But the question is, is your live stream content interesting enough?” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“It’s not a problem to help you attract attention, but if the contents of your live stream are not good, you won’t be able to retain the people. The popularity in my live stream is usually around 500,000 points, but you are aiming to reach 200,000 in your premiere. This will be very difficult.”

“I understand,” Lin Yi said, “What’s the most popular thing to stream among guys?”

!!
“Male streamers are usually gamers,” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“However, you need to have a certain level of acting talent when live streaming a game. You remember the streamer ’50-50 battle’ in the past? I feel that he is a live stream genius. There are really not many people who are his match.”

“That’s true. Master 50 was a decent person when he was alive.”

“He’s proof that no matter how well you play the game, if you don’t have talent in acting, your stream won’t do too well,” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“If you really want start streaming, why don’t you do a review with me? Buy some strange things that can satisfy the audience’s curiosity. Moreover, these people also tend to stick around. It’s a good choice.”

“Just like before, I ordered your egg fried rice because it was expensive. The audience is very curious about why that egg fried rice was so expensive. That’s why I ordered it.”

“Got it.”

“Why don’t we do this? Coincidentally, a Honda 4S shop just opened this afternoon. They want me to do a live broadcast and help promote them. When the time comes, I’ll go to your live stream room. Let’s familiarize ourselves with the process first. What do you think?”

“Sounds good.”

“Alright, let’s do as you say.”

Douyu’s live stream platform was different from that of other platforms.

The streamers on short video platforms could rely on short videos to accumulate fans in the early stages, but you could not do the same on Douyu.

Today, the streamer market was seriously saturated. If there was no one to guide Lin Yi in the early stages, it would probably take a lot of time to slowly grow his following.

After all, he was not really here to do a live stream. The most important thing was to complete the mission.

With Zhang Xiaoyu’s current popularity, it should not be a problem for his popularity to exceed 200,000 if she joined his live stream.

However, the system would not be so kind. It would definitely not credit him for the portion of popularity that was caused by her attendance.

He had to grow his popularity himself.

“In that case, I’ll create a room for you first. That way, you can become an official streamer.”

“No problem.”

Lin Yi handed the phone over, feeling that this was pretty good.

With Zhang Xiaoyu’s help, he could save himself a lot of trouble.

“Boss, is your livestream ID still called Invisible Chicken Wings?”

“Help me change it. Call me Brother Mask.”

“Huh? Brother Mask?”

“Yes, I won’t show my face.”

“No way.” Zhang Xiaoyu said in shock.

“If you don’t show your face, you’ll lose a lot of your audience.”

“It can’t be that bad.”

“Although the audience on Douyu’s live-stream platform are all old and straight men, there are also female viewers. As long as you show your face, I guarantee that you can instantly attract a large number of fans. Moreover, they are very competitive, and will definitely spend money to reward you.”

“Do you think I lack that bit of money?” Lin Yi smiled.

“But okay, that’s true as well.”

“Fine, let’s do it.” Lin Yi said.

“Coincidentally, this Starbucks is in Wanda Plaza, so I can buy something that I plan to use during the live broadcast later.”

“I’ll go with you. I’m free anyway.”

“Let’s go.”

After leaving Starbucks, the two of them went around Wanda Plaza. Lin Yi put on his mask, but it was light blue, not the one Ji Qingyan had prepared.

Inside Wanda Plaza, Lin Yi went to Prada.

Seeing Lin Yi enter, the saleswomen looked up but didn’t take him seriously.

Judging from their clothes, they seemed to be quite ordinary. They might not be able to buy anything in the shop, so she was not interested in serving them.

“Little Chen, there’s a guest here. Go and receive him,” the female store manager, who was doing the accounting, said calmly.

The girl called Little Chen was called Chen Yao.

She was wearing a black work uniform with flesh-colored stockings and black high heels. A colorful gauze scarf was tied around her neck. Although she didn’t look stunning, she looked dignified.

“Sister Liu, I just finished training. I haven’t memorized the entire product manual yet. Can I really do it?” Chen Yao asked.

“From the looks of it, they’re just here to walk around. I don’t think they can buy anything. Just treat it as practice. When you meet customers with real purchasing power, you won’t be afraid.”

“Got it, Sister Liu. I’ll give it a try.”

Chen Yao took a deep breath and walked toward Lin Yi and Zhang Xiaoyu.

“How can I help you, sir and madam?”

“I want to look at sunglasses.”

In Lin Yi’s impression, Prada’s sunglasses were famous, and their style was very novel. Therefore, he wanted to choose a pair to get here.

Zhang Xiaoyu was a little nervous.

Although her income was also very good, in a city like Zhonghai, she could only be considered moderately well-off.

She rarely visited luxury stores like Prada.

Therefore, her behavior was not as natural as Lin Yi’s, and she even felt a little guilty.

Seeing that Lin Yi was here to buy sunglasses, Chen Yao welcomed the two of them to the booth.

“Sir, what’s displayed here are all this year’s new designs. You can browse as you please.”

Lin Yi looked into the display cabinet and finally saw a pair of sunglasses with large lenses.

“Please bring this pair out for me.”

Seeing the sunglasses Lin Yi chose, Chen Yao thought to herself,

‘This man has really sharp taste. This is the most expensive sunglasses in the shop. The price is as high as 98,000 yuan. He actually chose this one at a glance.’

Chen Yao carefully took out her sunglasses, afraid that she would accidentally break them.

“Sir, you can test them. I think this pair of sunglasses matches the shape of your face.”

Miss Chen knew that Lin Yi wouldn’t buy it, but she was a attendant and had to do her job well.

“There’s no need for me to try it. How much is it? I’ll buy it now.”

“Um…”

Hearing this, Chen Yao was stunned.

This is a Prada shop, not a roadside stall.

Did he really buy it just like that?

‘You still don’t know the price, do you?’

“Sir, this pair of sunglasses is the latest model in our shop. It cost 98,000 yuan, and there’s no discount.”

Hearing this price, Zhang Xiaoyu was shocked.

A pair of crappy glasses cost 98,000 yuan?

I can work hard streaming for a month, but I still can’t earn this much money!

“98,000.”

Lin Yi muttered, “Then wait a moment. I’ll look at something else.”

The attendants in the shop subconsciously glanced at Lin Yi.

There was a hint of disdain in his eyes.

As expected, he cowered when he heard the price.

Chen Yao straightened her expression. “Sir, please follow me. There are other styles here. They’re relatively cheap and are all less than ten thousand yuan.”

“I won’t look at my sunglasses for now. I just saw a baseball cap that I quite like.”

Lin Yi looked at the other display cases and pointed at a black and gold baseball cap.

“How much is this hat?”

Chen Yao’s expression was a little unnatural. She was also a little embarrassed.

“Sir, this baseball cap is part of the joint release from Prada and Marvel. It’s priced at 164,000 yuan. It’s a little more expensive than the sunglasses you just looked at.”

Zhang Xiaoyu stood at the side dejectedly. She usually felt that her income was quite high. If she worked hard, she could earn a million yuan annually.

However, when she entered this kind of luxury store, he felt like a beggar.

There was nothing special about this lousy hat. It didn’t seem much different from a 20 yuan hat by the roadside. However, it was actually sold for 164,000 yuan. These guys were basically robbing them.

“If it’s expensive, then so be it. Pack this baseball cap together with the sunglasses and help me calculate the total costs,” Lin Yi said.
