Chapter 652 - 652 System, Oh System, the Older You Get, the More Evil You Become

652 System, Oh System, the Older You Get, the More Evil You Become

“I think the two of us should get under the covers and have a good talk.”

“Hehe, you’re dreaming.”

The two of them took a taxi back to the hotel. After washing up, Ji Qingyan returned to her room to rest.

“Aren’t you going to sleep?”

!!
Seeing that Lin Yi was still sitting on the sofa without showing any reaction, Ji Qingyan asked.

“Go to sleep first. I still have some other things to deal with.”

“Then I’ll leave you alone.”

There were a lot of things happening in Lingyun Group. Longxin was going to be listed on the market, along with the development of the photolithography machine and a new phone system. It was normal for Lin Yi to be busy, so Ji Qingyan did not think too much about it. She yawned and returned to her room to rest.

Lin Yi leaned back on the sofa and brought up the system page in his mind.

“Start a new profession.”

[Old Class Completion Rate: 100%. New Class can be activated.]

[New Class Activated (Yes/No)]

“Activate.”

[Experience Job: Online Streamer.]

[Profession Completion: 0%]

[Host, please receive a professional gift bag. 10 million yuan, solar battery cell phone.]

“Receive.”

As usual, the 10 million yuan cash reward was quickly transferred to his account.

As for the solar cell phone awarded by the system, it would probably be delivered to him soon.

However, what made Lin Yi more curious was which platform the system would let him stream on.

Regardless, this was not a big problem since he would be doing direct broadcasts all the same.

At the same time, Lin Yi’s gaze stopped on the system page.

After completing the profession of individual shopkeeper, there were now five achievement badges on his profile.

Different color badges were displayed across the page. He had no clue what use they had.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Just as Lin Yi was thinking about these things, there was a knock on the door.

Lin Yi had a feeling that his reward had arrived.

After all, this was a proper hotel. Logically speaking, no one would come to give him a small card.

He got up and opened the door. A woman in a high-cut cheongsam stood outside. Her legs were long and slender, and her figure was round. She was undeniably a beauty.

“Sir, this is your delivery. Please sign for it.”

“Which delivery company are you from? Why are you dressed like this?” Lin Yi took the package and said, “Is it the type that offers rooms that are red and romantic?”

“You’re funny, sir.”

Lin Yi, on the other hand, was calm. With Ji Qingyan by his side, a woman of this level was no longer worthy of his attention.

However, the system’s operation seemed to be getting more and more flirtatious.

In the past, they were all proper couriers. Now, it had sent a woman in a cheongsam.

After locking the door, he returned to the sofa with his phone.

“F*ck!”

Lin Yi had just sat down on the sofa when he saw Ji Qingyan opening the bedroom door a crack and staring straight at him.

“You didn’t even make a sound when you woke up. You scared me.”

“Why aren’t you sleeping in the middle of the night? What are you doing so sneakily?”

“I’m picking up a package,” Lin Yi said seriously.

‘A man of integrity is not afraid of shadows. Why would I be afraid of you?’

“Who delivers packages in the middle of the night?”

Ji Qingyan narrowed her eyes like a shrewd little fox.

“I heard it in my room just now. It’s a delivery from a woman.”

“Uh, it was indeed a woman.”

“Let me see what you got.”

“It’s just a phone. What’s there to see?”

Lin Yi casually opened the package. As he expected, it was a new iPhone, identical to the one he was using now.

“Your phone isn’t broken, so why did you buy a new one?” Ji Qingyan crossed her arms in front of her chest. “You were not sleeping in the middle of the night because you were waiting for this phone, right?”

“Um…”

Lin Yi couldn’t think of a retort because it was true.

“Tell me, why did you buy a new phone? Were you going to do something bad behind my back?”

“What the hell are you saying?” Lin Yi was speechless.

A woman’s imagination was really rich. She could even think of this.

“The store was closed. I plan to livestream in the future, so I bought a new phone for this purpose. Its battery is just more durable.”

“Huh? You want to be a streamer?”

“That’s right. Otherwise, why would I be idle?”

“Have you thought it through properly? Are you willing to rely on your looks to make a living?”

“What do you mean by relying on my looks to make a living? I’m just experiencing life.”

“If you livestream, the female audience will go crazy and spam your livestream.”

“I can’t help it. My looks can’t be changed. In truth, I didn’t want to do this either.”

“Then wear a mask,” said Ji Qingyan.

Ji Qingyan did not say much about Lin Yi being a streamer.

After all, he had never done things according to logic.

Moreover, after this incident, Lin Yi probably didn’t have the mood to run the shop anymore. It seemed like a good choice to change his identity and experience a new part of life.

“Wear a mask?”

“Didn’t I always wear a mask when I visited your shop after you first opened it?”

“It’s your turn.”

“Uh, okay.” Lin Yi said.

“I want to be strong. I can still make a living without relying on my looks.”

“It’s settled then.”

“Go to bed.”

“I have other things to do.”

“What are you so busy with? Hurry up and sleep.”

Initially, Lin Yi did not want to sleep, but Ji Qingyan did not give him a chance and brought him back to the bedroom.

Lin Yi was no longer in the mood to tease Ji Qingyan either. He took his phone and returned to bed.

The phone given by the system was not much different from a normal phone.

The only difference was that there was a new program in it.

Douyu Livestream.

As a live streaming platform, Lin Yi had some impression of Douyu.

Previously, when he was driving for Didi, he had fetched a female streamer. It seemed like she was from Douyu.

Apart from that, the streamer named Zhang Xiaoyu he met a few days ago seemed to be from this platform too.

He did not expect to become one of them one day.

[Have the female streamer perform Divine Dragon Tail Swing and reward them 1 million RMB. Reward: 100,000 proficiency points.]

“Huh?”

Seeing the mission given by the system, Lin Yi rubbed his chin.

What did it mean by Divine Dragon Tail Swing?

It had been a long time since he watched a live broadcast. Did they develop a new trick?

Lin Yi took out his phone and searched for the term.

But after reading the explanation on Baidu, Lin Yi was even more confused.

“Divine Dragon Tail Swing, one of the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms, recorded in the Yi Sutra.”

Was the system crazy?

It wanted the female streamer to perform the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms?

Which retarded female streamer knew how to do this?

Lin Yi vaguely felt that things might not be simple, so he asked in the group of four.

Lin Yi, “Do you know what a dragon’s tail is?”

The first to reply was Gao Zongyuan.

Gao Zongyuan, “Brother Lin, are you going to have sister-in-law put on an act?”

Liang Jinming, “Brother Lin is mighty. You have good luck with women.”

Lin Yi, “What is the point of this performance? I don’t even know what this is.”

Gao Zongyuan, “If you act tough, you’ll be struck by lightning. If you pretend to be innocent, you’ll be attacked. Don’t you know what a dragon’s tail is?”

Lin Yi: “I really don’t understand.”

Gao Zongyuan, “That’s easy. I’ll get someone to perform for you.”

Soon, Gao Zongyuan sent him a WeChat video.

It was very noisy on the other side. It seemed like they were in a bar.

Qin Han and Liang Jinming were beside him.

Then, Gao Zongyuan stood on the coffee table and said loudly,

“Girls, Brother Lin wants to see what a dragon’s tail swing is. You’ll be rewarded if you dance well.”

With Gao Zongyuan’s reputation, he would definitely attract hundreds of people in the bar.

“Is this Brother Lin one of the four young masters of Zhonghai?” A girl in a strapless dress asked.

“Of course. Who else could it be?”

“Hehe, I know how to do that.”

“So do I.”

“Let me do it, let me do it.”

Knowing that Lin Yi was going to watch the dragon wag its tail, more than ten girls in shorts and short skirts stood in a row.

They spread their legs slightly and began to move their butts rhythmically. The scene was very erotic.

“Brother Lin, did you see that? This is called the Divine Dragon Tail Swing. It’s not bad, right?”

“Young Master Gao, ask Young Master Lin if he wants to see anything else. I know how to open the dragon spine as well.”

“It’s so boring to have a divine dragon swing its tail. I even know how to swing a scorpion’s tail. This is even more exciting.”

“There’s no need for that,” Lin Yi smiled and hung up.

“System, system, the older you get, the more evil you become!”

Although he was complaining, he still had to complete the mission.

Opening the Douyu app, Lin Yi quickly familiarized himself with the platform and prepared to find a female streamer who could help him complete the mission.

“Lin Yi…”

Just as Lin Yi was about to complete the mission, he heard Ji Qingyan calling out his name on another bed.

“What’s wrong? Can’t sleep?”

“Do you think your streamer is better looking than me?”

“Is there a need to ask? Of course you’re prettier than them. Did you wake up in the middle of the night just to ask me this?”

“Since I’m so pretty, why are you not sleeping in the middle of the night and instead watching female streamers?”

“Uh… That’s a question worth thinking about.” Lin Yi jumped off the bed, and before Ji Qingyan could react, he was already under her covers.

“I won’t see anyone tonight, just you.”
