Chapter 659 - 659 I Like People Like You Who Like to Act Cool

659 I Like People Like You Who Like to Act Cool

Lin Yi opened the system page. The system mission was to reward a female streamer one million yuan and have them perform the Divine Dragon Tail Swing.

He didn’t pay much attention to it before, but Lin Yi felt that this mission wasn’t difficult.

Not to mention 1 million yuan, even a tip of 50,000 yuan was enough to make them call him daddy.

What more make them do the Divine Dragon Tail Swing.

!!
He opened the Douyu app and prepared to find a female streamer to complete the mission first.

Lin Yi remembered the streamer named Zhang Xiaoyu. If he remembered correctly, she was a Douyu streamer.

However, Lin Yi did not deliberately look for her. He was prepared to find a new female streamer to do the job.

The only problem was that not all streamers knew this dance. He had to ask first.

When he opened the app, he saw a pop-up notification.

“‘The Little Sister Who Rides the Waves’ is in the midst of becoming popular. Hurry up and pick the Little Sister in your heart.”

“Impressive. Even this kind of thing has gained popularity.”

Nowadays, live-stream platforms had one activity after another. Activities like this were common in the Internet industry.

In order to earn popularity, one would do anything.

Lin Yi clearly remembered that a certain someone had held a live broadcast a while ago.

The reason for the event was also very strange.

It was actually to celebrate his second uncle and grandfather successfully passing their state test.

When he saw this message, Lin Yi felt disappointed with the organizers of the event.

You could really only get away with such a thing in the Internet industry.

He clicked on the notification and saw a detailed page of the event.

Lin Yi clicked on it and saw a ranking list.

He glanced at the top ten participants and felt that the female streamer ranked fifth was not bad, so he entered her live-stream room.

The female streamer’s name was Han Shuang. Her online ID was Little Kitty.

From first impressions, this female streamer named Han Shuang looked pretty good.

Her long hair draped over her shoulders and her nose bridge was high. She could be considered a beauty.

On Douyu, Han Shuang was very famous, but she had a fatal flaw.

She was a little cold, just like her name.

She would give off a distant feeling and always put on airs. It was rare to ever see her smile.

Douyu’s administrators had discussed this in private.

With Han Shuang’s appearance and temperament, if she was a little more lively and gave the audience just a taste of happiness, she could possibly become the top streamer on the platform.

She would not only be ranked fifth now.

“Thank you everyone for your tips. I’m already in fifth place,” Han Shuang said.

“Look at our Kitty. She’s still as cold as ever. She’s already ranked fifth, but her emotions haven’t fluctuated at all.”

“Are you kidding me? Kitty is the ice goddess of Douyu. Do you think it’s possible to get a smile from her?”

“Sigh, in other streamers’ rooms, the viewers can decide what talent they want to see. When it comes to Kitty, it all depends on her mood. This too difficult for me.”

On the Douyu streaming platform, Han Shuang was regarded as the ice goddess.

Occasionally, she would reveal a fake professional smile.

Anyone who often watched Han Shuang’s live broadcast knew that she would only show a sweet smile if she was tipped more than five super rockets at one time, which was 10,000 yuan.

Because of this reason, others were used to calling Han Shuang an ice goddess.

The people who watched her live broadcast were also called professional bootlickers.

Ordinary bootlickers could not endure this treatment. Han Shuang was indeed too cold.

“Does the streamer know how to do the Divine Dragon Tail Swing?”

Han Shuang, who was streaming, suddenly saw this comment and was a little stunned.

In the business of female streamers, the Divine Dragon Tail Swing was a necessary skill. How could anyone not know it?

It was just that she would not do it easily. She would need to be gifted at least ten super rockets!

Otherwise, those poor losers would benefit.

“It’s very simple. I do,” Han Shuang answered concisely.

“Can you perform the Divine Dragon Tail Swing? I’ll reward you with a rocket later.”

He looked at the nickname of the person who spoke. It was ‘Invisible Chicken Wings’.

A look of disgust and disdain appeared on Han Shuang’s face.

Such ridiculous nicknames were usually used by greasy middle-aged people or poor people who had achieved nothing.

These damn fellows actually came to her for a free show!

Did he think she was a newbie streamer?

It was disgusting just thinking about it!

Those who were truly rich would reward first before making requests.

If she really did it, he probably wouldn’t even be able to tip a shark fin!

They were all freeloaders!

Lin Yi’s comments attracted ridicule.

“Brother, I think you’re dreaming. You wanted to see her do the Divine Dragon Tail Swing, but you want to try to trick her?”

“Do you think the name Kitty Ice Goddess is for nothing?”

“Five super rockets in exchange for a smile. Ten rockets in exchange for a Divine Dragon Tail Swing and you are offering a rocket. Do you want to trick the divine dragon into wagging its tail? What a joke.”

“Alright, alright, alright. Get out of here. Don’t embarrass yourself here. I’m embarrassed for you.”

“Thank you, netizens, for speaking up for me. A scammer like him should be boycotted by the entire internet.” Han Shuang squeezed out a smile. This could be considered as giving back to the people in the live broadcast room.

“Oh my God, Kitty is smiling!”

“I’ve been watching the live broadcast for a few days and I finally saw Kitty smile.”

“This wasn’t easy to get. When I get my salary, I’ll definitely reward you!”

Seeing the crazy comments in the live stream, Lin Yi got goosebumps.

Were these people all masochists?

Han Shuang’s smile only lasted for a second before she once again showed her previous seriousness and said coldly,

“This friend is called ‘Invisible Chicken Wings’. This kind of move can deceive small streamers, but it’s useless in front of me. Please leave my live stream. You’re not welcome here.”

“Also, an ordinary rocket is not even enough to buy a smile from me. Don’t you think you’re being ridiculous?”

Lin Yi didn’t waste any time and directly turn off the live stream.

This girl was really too arrogant.

After exiting Han Shuang’s live stream, Lin Yi was no longer prepared to watch others’ live streams.

It was better to look for that person called Zhang Xiaoyu. It shouldn’t be a problem for her to act like a dragon and dance.

She continued to scroll down, but she did not find Zhang Xiaoyu on the second page.

There was nothing on page three either.

It was not until he flipped to the fourth page that he found Zhang Xiaoyu. She was ranked 78th.

This ranking was a little low.

In terms of looks, Zhang Xiaoyu was not inferior to Han Shuang.

However, Zhang Xiaoyu did not make a killing as a streamer. Although her income was good, there was still a gap between her and a top streamer like Han Shuang.

She might be waiting to make it big, but circumstances did not allow it.

Other than that, the reason why her results were not good was also related to her user base.

You could basically tell that the viewers watching Han Shuang’s live broadcast were all old perverts. They were all stupid and rich.

However, the people who watched Zhang Xiaoyu’s live broadcast were young people filled with curiosity. They liked her item review streams, but their spending power was limited.

It was already very good for her to be ranked in such a large-scale meat sale.

When he entered Zhang Xiaoyu’s livestream room, Lin Yi realized that she had also followed the trend of sexiness and changed into a light gray skirt.

Most importantly, Lin Yi realized that she appeared to be much older than before.

She had probably caked herself with a few additional layers of makeup.

It seemed she was going all out for this event.

“Xiaoyu, you can’t do this. Your popularity increased so much a few days ago. Why didn’t you seize the opportunity?”

“Didn’t I meet that handsome guy a few days ago?” Zhang Xiaoyu said.

“I originally wanted to do a live broadcast at his place during the next few days of the competition. I didn’t expect him to close down. Boohoo, I’m so pitiful.”

“Brother, don’t cry. Stand up and continue!”

“Don’t be like that. I’m a girl!” Zhang Xiaoyu cried.

“If you hadn’t told me, I would have forgotten about it.”

“Don’t even think about getting first place. Xiaoyu is only so capable. Let’s not make things difficult for her. It’s not easy for her to cross-dress.”

“What are you talking about? Not only do I know how to review goods, but I also have my own unique skills!”

“You have unique skills?”

“Of course.” Zhang Xiaoyu said, “Let’s not talk about the basics like S squatting. I’m also good at doing the dragon tail dance and so on.”

“Then quickly think of a solution. Isn’t that handsome man a rich man who drives a sports car? Think of a way to contact him. He might come and tip you,” the netizen said enthusiastically.

“I heard that there’s a guaranteed contract of three million yuan for this event. Try to invest in publicity later on. If you miss it, you won’t have such a good opportunity in the future.”

“Stop fooling around. He’s so handsome and there are so many girls around him. If he wanted to watch, he would get people to perform for him live. Why would he come to watch a female streamer like me?”

“That might not be the case. There are certain rich people with unique tastes.”

“Tsk, if such a tycoon were really here, I could even perform a hundred Divine Dragon Tail Swings.”

“Xiaoyu, are you crazy? You actually want to do a hundred of them? Can your waist take it?”

“Hehehe, do you think my squats were for nothing?”

Without any warning, Zhang Xiaoyu started to ramp up her bragging. “Not to mention 100, even 10,000 wouldn’t be a problem. I have a good waist. That’s how confident I am.”

“Hehe, Xiaoyu, I think you’re too arrogant. Be careful not to get slapped in the face.”

“It’s alright. I like to be slapped in the face and in another place, but no one ever comes to hit me. Sigh, I’m so lonely.”

Seeing Zhang Xiaoyu and the netizens’ interaction, Lin Yi smiled and muttered to himself,

“I just like people like you who act cool.”
