The woman in sunglasses froze when she saw the shiny Lykan car keys.

She felt like the scene before her wasn’t real.

Lin Yi pressed the car keys and opened the scissors door, proving that what he said was true.

“Do you want to come? I’ll take you for a ride.”

“You… Aren’t you a Didi driver?”

!!
Even though the woman in sunglasses was used to the finer things in life, it was hard for her to accept the fact that Lin Yi was the owner of the car over such a short period of time.

“Yeah, I use this Lykan to drive for Didi. I guess I really am self-reliant.”

“I should have just kept my mouth shut.”

“It’s life. If you have nothing else to say, you can just spread your legs and enjoy it in silence.” Lin Yi waved the car keys. “Do you want to get in?”

“I don’t get paid for doing nothing. I can’t afford to sit in this kind of car.”

“Just place the order. I’m still a Didi driver.”

“I said I don’t get paid for nothing, but didn’t even say anything polite in response. You’re not a gentleman at all.”

“I’m rich and handsome. What’s the point of being a gentleman? No matter how I act, clothes are still going to end up being taken off.”

The woman in sunglasses laughed so hard that she rocked back and forth. This man was really unconventional.

“I’ll just be delaying you from driving for Didi. I still have work to do in the afternoon, so I’ll see you later if fate permits.”

Lin Yi got out of the car and got into his Lykan under the envious gazes of the crowd.

In the rearview mirror, the woman in sunglasses watched Lin Yi leave, a question suddenly popping into her mind.

What was he doing in Xiangyang Industrial Area by himself without even driving?

…

Cao Xiangyu parked his car in the parking area of the Cisco Building and walked into the building in high spirits.

The people moving about all greeted Cisco’s crown prince one after another.

“President Cao is here.”

Liu Chu, dressed in casual clothes, greeted Cao Xiangyu.

Although Cao Xiangyu was in charge of the business in the factory area, he held the position of vice president in the company. Even so, he didn’t have much real power.

“Hey, isn’t that President Liu? I haven’t seen him for a long time. Is the research institute still busy?”

Seeing Liu Chu, Cao Xiangyu became much more enthusiastic.

He was the president of the research institute and the developer of the chip 1.0 technology. It could be said that he was the biggest contributor to Cisco’s current situation.

He was also the person Cao Xiangyuwould focus on in the future!

“We are constantly making strides with the chip 1.0 technology. We are striving to widen the gap between us and our competitors and gain a firm foothold in the industry.”

“Cisco is really lucky to have an employee like Director Liu,” Cao Xiangyu praised:

“Do you have time nowadays? I heard that there is a fishing village near Zhong Hai. The food is pretty good there. Do you have time to visit it?”

“That’s great. I will definitely be there since President Cao has invited me.”

“It’s settled then. I will call you after I finish organizing the work at hand.”

“Okay.”

After chatting for a while, Cao Xiangyu got on the elevator and went to the president’s office.

“Dad, I have some good news to tell…”

He pushed the door open and stopped talking abruptly.

This was because Cao Jingqiu was also sitting on the sofa.

Cao Jingqiu was dressed in a slightly fierce manner. She wore black baggy pants with a white sling and a printed chiffon shawl.

If she went to a bar in this dress, people would not even have the desire to hit on her.

“Jingqiu is here,” Cao Xiangyu said with a smile. “Why didn’t you tell me earlier? We could have come over together.”

“The factory is so busy nowadays. How could I dare to bother you?”

“You are my sister. How can you call it a bother if you come to look for me?” Cao Xiangyu patted his chest and said.

“In the future, if you have anything to do at the company, just call me. I’ll send you over. Ever since we started working, we’ve stopped spending time together as siblings. We can’t let our family relationship deteriorate because of work.”

“Thank you, Brother.”

“You’re welcome.” Cao Xiangyu said with a smile.

Even so, he kept pondering a question in his heart. Was it his father who asked her to come here, or did she come on her own initiative?

If it was the latter, then it wouldn’t be a big problem.

However, if her father had invited her to come here, then things wouldn’t be good. Was he going to entrust her with greater responsibility?

If so, then what about himself?

It seemed that hehad come at the right time today. If he had waited for a few more days, then it might have been too late.

“Xiangyu, you didn’t finish your sentence earlier. Do you have good news to share? Say it now,” Cao Jiadong said with a smile.

“Dad, it’s like this,” Cao Xiangyu said impatiently.

“Now, I have complete control over the production line at Sci-Tech.”

“Really?” Cao Jiadong was surprised. “Didn’t they send someone over to manage their operations?”

“They sent someone over initially, but I kicked them out due to various reasons. I also roped in some technical talents to support us,” Cao Xiangyu patted his chest and said.

“It can be said that Cisco’s production pipeline now belongs to the Cao family. As long as I say the word, they will do as I ask!”

“This is really good news. You did a good job,” Cao Jiadong said with satisfaction.

“Dad, don’t be so happy yet. I have more good news to tell you.”

“What is it? Tell me slowly.” Cao Jiadong lit a cigarette and listened with interest.

Seeing her father’s expression, Cao Jingqiu frowned slightly but did not say anything.

“Not only did I seizeSci-Tech’s assembly line, but their warehouse is now also under my control. All of it is being managed by our people. They are not allowed to interfere.”

“Really? Are Sci-Tech’s people that generous?”

“This matter was indeed very difficult to navigate. I fought with them for a long time and used many methods to gain control over their warehouse.” Cao Xiangyu sighed. “After working for so many days, I can finally have a good sleep tonight.”

“Now, the assembly line and the warehouse are all under our control. If they want to take on other contract manufacturing projects, they’ll have to rely on us,” Cao Jiadong said.

“That’s right. At that time, I also had the same idea. That’s why I worked day and night on this matter. Now, I am finally seeing the results,” Cao Xiangyu said.

“The most important thing is that the other party was too shrewd. Fortunately, I had made sufficient preparations for this. Otherwise, I really wouldn’t be able to handle this matter.”

“You’ve done well. Continue to work hard.”

“Don’t worry, Father. I will not only ensure the quality of the tasks that are entrusted to me, but I will also exceed expectations. I will definitely not let you down.”

Cao Jiadong nodded his head in satisfaction. “It’s been hard on you during this period. When the project with Didi is completed, you can join the company.”

Cao Xiangyu was delighted. He wished he could hug Cao Jiadong and kiss him.

He had come at the right time. Otherwise, his dad might have left for another business trip.

Thinking of this, Cao Xiangyu looked at Cao Jingqiu proudly and cursed in his heart:

“Little b*tch, you think you can compete with me? You’re miles away!”

“Who’s in charge of Sci-Tech now? Is it that person called Wang Tianlong?” Cao Jingqiu said.

“Why are you asking this? Do you have other concerns regarding this?”

Cao Jingqiu tilted her head. “I don’t have any concerns. I just think it’s a little strange.”
