“You… you want to buy a Mercedes-Maybach and some S-classes, all with the top specs?”

Zhang Yuchen felt her heart stop beating.

This was the first time he had seen someone buy a car like this.

“Yes, you heard me right.”

The reason why he wanted to buy a Mercedes-Benz was that Director Shen’s car was an Mercedes E-class during the time he worked at Microsoft.

!!
He might as well continue to buy this brand for him.

As for the remaining S-classes, he would give one to Sun Fuyu and Lu Ying each. The remaining three would be passed to the research institute. Whoever needed it would drive it. It would be used for daily use.

“Firstly, Sir, the top-quality Mercedes-Benz Maybach will cost 3.6 million yuan, and the Mercedes-Benz S-classes will cost 1.8 million yuan each. Altogether, the total will be 12.6 million yuan…”

“Ah? 12.6 million yuan?”

“Sir, do you think that the price is a little too high?” Zhang Yuchen asked.

“In truth, I personally feel it’s a little too high. I don’t think there’s a need to buy the top-quality models. A middle-spec model is already pretty good.”

“That’s not what I meant.” Lin Yi waved his hand.

“I remember that the top-quality S-class one is close to 3 million yuan. Why is it selling for 1.8 million now? Did It drop that much?”

“Sir, the three million model you mentioned is the AMG version.”

“That’s the one. I want five AMG models,” Lin Yi said. “I feel like the normal version is a little lacking.”

“You… you want five S-class AMG models?!”

Zhang Yuchen felt like she couldn’t even speak properly.

It was also the first time she felt the huge gap between the consumption habits of the rich and ordinary people.

The earlier nouveau riche had talked until the cows came home before he bought the E-class, and he even took the opportunity to try to get her WeChat.

On the other hand, look at this man who bought so many cars without even entering the building.

This was a true rich man.

“The price of a top-of-the-line S-class AMG is now 2.86 million, so five sets will be 14.3 million. Including a top-of-the-line Maybach, the total price will be 17.9 million.”

Lin Yi nodded. “That’s the right price. Go swipe my card and prepare the contract.”

“Okay, okay…”

She held Lin Yi’s bank card in her hands with trepidation, feeling that everything before her eyes wasn’t real.

She walked into the shop and happened to see her colleague and a middle-aged man walking out.

The middle-aged man snorted coldly when he saw her.

“Miss Zhang, I was here to buy a car from you, but you don’t seem to be willing to serve me, so I can only tell you regretfully that I’ve already bought that Mercedes-Benz E-class, but the commission money will not be entering your pocket.”

“Little Chen, we had a deal. Although it was you who served Mr. Wang previously, I’m the one who got the sign off for the sales contract. You can’t challenge me for the commission money,” Zhang Yuchen’s colleague said.

“It’s just a Mercedes-Benz E-class. What’s so great about it?”

“Hehe…” the colleague named Wang smiled. “This is a car worth more than 500,000 yuan. It’s considered a good car even in Zhonghai.”

Zhang Yuchen’s colleague shook his head. This girl Yuchen would regret her decision just now.

Now, it was too late even if she regretted it.

According to the company’s rules, whoever signed the contract with the client would get the commission. She couldn’t contest this rule.

“It’s just an E-class. What’s so cool about that?” Zhang Yuchen took Lin Yi’s bank card. “Do you see this?”

Both of them were stunned. Zhang Yuchen’s colleague asked, “What’s up with that card?”

“The handsome guy outside bought a Mercedes-Benz Maybach and five S-class AMGs with a total price of 17.9 million yuan. A Mercedes-Benz E-class with a price of more than 500,000 yuan is less than a fraction of that value. I’m not interested at all.”

“What did you say?! The guy outside bought six cars?!”

“That’s right. And he didn’t waste any time at all. He paid the full price with his credit card, unlike someone who bought an E-class car in installments.”

Zhang Yuchen’s colleagues were dumbfounded.

According to the 1% commission benefit, a car worth 17.9 million RMB meant she got 179,000 RMB just from the commission alone!

If she hadn’t acted, this customer would have been his!

The commission would’ve been his, too!

It was all gone now!

Meanwhile, the customer looked embarrassed as he wiped the cold sweat off his forehead and left the Mercedes-Benz 4S store in shame.

Twenty minutes later, Yuchen prepared six car contracts and handed them to Lin Yi for him to sign.

With a wave of the pen, Lin Yi signed his name and said to Yuchen,

“Help me send these six cars to the Zhonghai International Racetrack later. Find a man named Zhou Haitao, he’ll be there to receive you, but you have to do before 10:00 am tomorrow.”

“Yes, sir. There’s an available car in the garage. We don’t need to wait to send it at 10:00 am tomorrow. We can arrange to do it now.”

“Alright then, I’ll leave the car delivery to you guys.”

Lin Yi looked at Huang Li as he held the six car contracts.

“I’m done here. Let’s go.”

“Okay…”

Huang Li and her husband saw the whole process.

The heroic Lin Yi once again changed their worldview.

Rich people and ordinary people really lived in two different worlds, leading completely different lives.

When he came to the Mercedes-benz 4S store, he could only look at the cheapest car, and he had to take out a loan.

Yet, the other party casually spent more than 17 million on the cars.

On the other hand, he probably wouldn’t be able to earn so much money in his lifetime.

Seeing his wife leaving in Lin Yi’s car, Huang Li’s husband felt a myriad of emotions in his heart.

He looked up at the sky and suddenly saw a bright green flash above his head, filling him with vitality.

“Bro, can I add you on WeChat?” Huang Li asked when they reached their destination.

“You can forget about adding me on WeChat. I still have things to do.”

“Oh, okay.” Huang Li said, not willing to give up just yet.

Lin Yi did some calculations in his mind. After buying a car and a house, everything was settled.

All that was left was to pick up Director Shen when he returned to the country.

Later on, Lin Yi drove to pick up Ji Qingyan from work.

Ring, ring, ring…

Just as he was waiting for Ji Qingyan to come down, Lin Yi received a call from her.

“Are you busy tonight?”

“No, what’s wrong?”

“I don’t want to go home right now. I want to work overtime at the company. If you’re free, can you come over and accompany me?”

“Wait for me upstairs.”

“Okay.”

When he arrived at Ji Qingyan’s office.

They found her concentrating in front of the computer, her slender fingers tapping on the keyboard like she was playing the piano.

There were documents all over the desk. With Ji Qingyan’s personality, it was obvious how busy she was to let her desk devolve into this state.

“Find a place to sit. I’m a little busy with work, so I’ll leave you alone.”

“Go focus on your own stuff.”

Lin Yi pushed open the kitchen door. “What do you want to eat? I’ll go make it now.”

“Egg fried rice will do.” Ji Qingyan looked at Lin Yi with delight. “If you can add more scallions and a poached egg, it’ll be even more perfect.”

“Sure, just wait.”

Lin Yi wasn’t only preparing food for Ji Qingyan. He was also a little hungry himself, so he prepared a plate of golden egg fried rice to fill his stomach.

Twenty minutes later, two sets of egg fried rice were served.

“Come here and eat first. I’ll be busy later.”

“I want to eat at my desk.” Ji Qingyan said cutely.

“Don’t waste your time on other tasks. Eat well during the meal. Don’t mess around.”

“Oh, okay.”

Seeing Lin Yi’s egg fried rice, Ji Qingyan, who was already hungry, suddenly felt that she had a huge appetite.

“Lin Yi, you’re a genius. Even your egg fried rice tastes so good,” Ji Qingyan said with satisfaction.

“Your mouth must be filled with the taste of scallions. Don’t kiss me later.”

“Why? Do you dislike me? In that case, I’m going to kiss you.”

“Well, come on then. There’s no one around. Don’t restrict yourself.”
