Lin Yi was stunned for a moment when he saw what was on the table.

I only asked you to deliver a simple lunch.

You really pulled out all the stops!

Wang Tianlong was very proud. It was perfect. He didn’t cause President Lin to lose face.

Perfect.

!!
“Mr. Lin, your takeout is ready. I’m leaving now. Remember to give me a good review for five stars.”

After saying that, Wang Tianlong turned around and left.

He left after putting on a show, concealing his success and identity in the process.

The three young nurses drooled when they saw the top-grade ingredients on the table.

Although the food Duan Peng prepared was not bad, the difference between it and the takeout ordered by Dr. Lin was like Heaven and Earth!

One dish on the table was more expensive than everything the former had bought.

The total cost of this meal was tens of thousands of yuan!

Wang Tianlong had never let anyone down throughout his pretentious journey.

“Director Duan, Doctor Lin ordered a lot of things. I appreciate your kindness.”

Duan Peng’s expression was ugly. What the f*ck was the meaning of this?!

“That’s good. That’s all for now. I won’t disturb you meal.”

Duan Peng awkwardly put away the lunch he had ordered and left Li Chuhan’s lounge.

The three nurses couldn’t stop laughing.

Dr. Lin’s actions were a slap in the face!

“Director Duan is the vice president’s son. Do you think he’ll give Dr. Lin a hard time after this?”

“It’s hard to say. He’s making me worried about Dr. Lin.”

While the three of them were whispering, Li Chuhan looked at Lin Yi and said,

“You ordered a little too much. Do you mind if we eat together?”

“No way.” Lin Yi smiled. “If I knew they were coming, I would have ordered more.”

Under such circumstances, anyone with a little EQ wouldn’t choose to eat alone.

“Don’t just stand there. Dr. Lin is treating you to dinner today.”

“Can we really eat too?”

“Why not? Let’s eat together.”

“Hehe, then we won’t stand on ceremony.”

The three young nurses carried their lunch boxes and walked over from the desk at the back. They surrounded each other and ate a big meal together.

“After eating Dr. Lin’s meal, you guys have to cooperate with Dr. Lin’s work in the future.”

“No problem,” Yuan Siqi said, “I’ll be Dr. Lin’s full-time young nurse from now on.”

“Even if we didn’t eat Dr. Lin’s food, we would still be willing to help Dr. Lin.”

“You guys are really…” Li Chuhan said with a smile.

After a simple lunch, they knew that Lin Yi and Li Chuhan had something important to talk about. Yuan Siqi and the other two quickly finished their lunch and helped collect the leftovers.

“Are you sure you don’t want to rest for a while? Are you sure you want to continue chatting?”

“Yeah.” Lin Yi nodded. “Let’s continue the discussion. Who are we doing surgery on tomorrow?”

“The head of the garrison.”

Pfftt!

Lin Yi almost vomited blood. “Are you serious?”

“Of course I’m serious. I’ll be the assistant tomorrow and the two presidents will be the chief surgeons. I’ll just be the backup.”

“It’s only right.” Lin Yi said. “Such a big figure has to be watched carefully by the entire hospital.”

“The surgery is tricky, but we can handle it. The only thing I’m worried about is the suturing.”

“Who’s in charge of suturing?”

“Dean Duan, the top cardiologist in the country.”

“What did he say?”

“He said it’s not too difficult and there won’t be any problems, but I’ve come into contact with similar patients before at Mayo Clinic. Their suturing plans are different from what Dean Duan explained. That’s what I’m worried about.”

Lin Yi frowned. “Let’s talk about the patient’s condition first.”

“There’s an aneurysm at the heart area. The problem is that there’s a very thick layer of dissection required above it.”

Li Chuhan took the file and said.

“There are three layers around the aortic wall: the inner membrane, the elastic middle layer, and the outer layer. Now, the inner membrane of the aortic wall has become diseased. This will cause the blood that originally flowed to the entire body to pass through the lesion and flow to the middle layer. The accumulated blood will force the aorta to continue expanding, causing the aortic wall to become thinner until it is less than one-sixth of its original thickness. At this time, if there’s any vibration, the blood pressure will rise abruptly and the patient will die within a minute. Therefore, the treatment plan we are offering is to replace the artificial blood vessel.”

Lin Yi took a deep breath as he realized the difficulty of this surgery.

“The potential risk now is that the patient weighs more than 180 pounds and is considered obese. This makes the surgery very difficult.

“Secondly, the suture of the artificial blood vessel is the most important factor. If he starts bleeding, he might only be left with 500 milliliters of blood in just a minute.” Li Chuhan shrugged. “He’ll die before he gets off the operating table.”

As she spoke, Li Chuhan took a few more documents and handed them to Lin Yi, “According to my estimation, there will be 240 to 300 suture points in this surgery. If one suture point is wrong, all our efforts will be wasted.”

Huff…

Lin Yi sighed.

“This is too damn difficult.”

“You don’t have confidence?”

“People make mistakes, even horses make mistakes. Only God can guarantee that there won’t be any mistakes while making 240 to 300 stitching points.”

The system gave him master-level stitching technique.

In other words, his skill level was the best in the world.

However, this standard was in comparison to a human, not a machine.

As long as it was a human, there was always the possibility of mistakes.

This was what Lin Yi was most worried about.

“Can you give me a treatment plan? Let me see if it’s feasible.”

“Are you sure you can trust me?”

“Your skills are pretty good, so I want to give it a try,” Li Chuhan said. “I can’t think of a better option anyway. Because of the uniqueness of the patient, it’s impossible to find a foreign doctor to do it, so I want you to give this a try.”

“Okay, I’ll give you a plan. Use it if you think it’s suitable. If it’s not, then forget it.”

“No problem.” Li Chuhan stood up. “You don’t have to go for the night shift of the emergency department tonight. Just find a quiet place to write the report. If you think the hospital is too noisy, go home. You can decide on your own arrangements.”

“Then I’ll go home.”

“Okay.”

Chu Han nodded. “Close the door when you leave. I didn’t sleep last night, and I can’t hold on much longer.”

“Okay.”

Lin Yi turned around and left. He changed into his own clothes and drove home, ready to complete the task that Li Chuhan had given him.

Lin Yi didn’t think that the patient that he’d never met before would be of a higher level than that of an ordinary citizen.

Even so, he couldn’t be sloppy with something like human life.

Lin Yi didn’t do anything else after he got home. He focused on writing the report apart from talking to Ji Qingyan over the phone.

He didn’t finish the report until midnight before sending it to Li Chuhan.

Just as Lin Yi was stretching and getting ready to wash up, Li Chuhan called.

“Did you finish this report on your own?”

“Of course. There’s no one else in the house besides myself.”

After a few seconds of silence, Li Chuhan said.

“The report is excellent!”
