Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 143 Battle against Pirates (8)

Chapter 143 Decisive Battle with Pirates ([-])

In the plan, the Robin launched a landing operation, and the Black Coral provided artillery cover.

Therefore, in the ammunition supply of Robin’s ship, only a small amount of ammunition was added.

On the two frigates, only three rounds of ammunition were added to each artillery.

The remaining ammunition is all concentrated on the Black Coral. In order to cover the attack, each artillery position has no spare power to suppress the attack.Provide cover for the advancing Robin.

The artillery position of the mountain bowl was taken away, which made the sea wolf startled and angry.

The opponent’s artillery is much stronger than his own, and it can guarantee the hit rate and lethality at this distance.

And the two rounds of shooting directly destroyed the mountain and the naval gun that he spent a lot of effort to build.

The remaining coastal defense hidden artillery was suppressed to varying degrees.

In this way, there are only four guns that can directly attack.

However, as the distance of these four artillery pieces continued to decrease, the shooting range became narrower and narrower. In the end, only three artillery pieces launched an attack.

One hit directly on the side of the Robin.

But the Robin, which was already prepared for protection, continued to move forward as usual even after being hit.

The artillery launch port has been closed long ago, and will only be reopened for shooting after approaching the dead angle.

With a distance of 10 kilometers, at the speed of a battleship, it takes less than [-] minutes to reach the shore directly.

As the Robin continued to approach, Lin Feng also began to reduce the frequency of artillery support.

According to this high-intensity suppression, the remaining ammunition would have to be consumed for at most another 5 minutes.

Next, we have to rely on artillery to support the island, so we have to exercise restraint.

The original three-layer artillery fired sequentially and changed to single-layer artillery attacking one by one.

Although the firepower density has decreased, the suppression efficiency has not weakened, and the artillery positions on the designated islands are still crushed to death.

After rushing to less than [-] meters from the island, the huge battleship turned slowly, revealing its side.

At the same time, the artillery hidden in the hull also revealed a ferocious metallic luster.

”The first and second companies disembarked from the port side to assemble and land as planned, and the third company stayed behind on the warship to provide suppressive fire support!”

As the commander of the ship, Greser began to issue combat orders before the ship stopped.

At the same time, the pirates on the island have already made preparations at this moment, and the mobile artillery hidden in the jungle is being pushed up one after another.

At the same time, trusted troops carrying fire and gas firearms also arrived to prepare for the attack.

With the warship docked, the pirates naturally wouldn’t let them land on the island that easily.

One side of the huge battleship faces the island and is ready to attack at any time, while on the other side near the sea, the two wings have already laid wooden ships and are waiting for orders to attack.

Seeing that the preparations for assembly had been completed, Grace immediately issued an order.

”Notify the lord that we have completed the preparations, and now launch an attack, three times in a row, to suppress the island jungle!”

After the two orders were issued, a red flare rose slowly, which represented the order to launch an attack.

At the same time, the artillery on the side of the ship also began to bombard the suspicious area to provide cover for the landing troops.

And this explosion officially started the battle.

The pirates made preparations early on. As soon as the battleship fired, the pirates also fired back.

Countless cannonballs are flying in mid-air, but as practical projectiles, the quality and speed are still a little weaker if they want to attack the upgraded battleship.

What’s more, these are mobile artillery, and the caliber will naturally not be particularly large.

When it hits the iron plating of the ship, it can only make a clanging sound, leaving a black spot at the same time and it’s over.

But the battleship’s howitzer is not a joke with them. The effective radius of damage and high-intensity firepower density directly blow up the pirates.

A distance of less than [-] meters is a death ’trench’ for the landing troops, but under the cover of warships, the harassment of the landing troops is only sporadic.

Some shells were fired with no accuracy at all, and could only stir up waves of water ripples on the sea surface.

In less than 5 minutes, the two companies completed the login work.

And the first company, as required, directly attacked to a distance of [-] meters from the coastline to build fortifications.

The Erlian left a small group of people and built fortifications on the beach to facilitate subsequent landings.

Under the cover of artillery, the soldiers of the first and second companies did not take the lead in using rifles to attack, but only used some old-fashioned muskets and iron crossbows to carry out long-range attacks.

But even in a battle with equal weapons, the pirates’ defense line was torn apart and defeated like paper.

This is not because the strength of the pirates is poor, but that the elite soldiers are all on board the ships, and the personnel left behind on the island are all second-rate.

What’s more, some old pirates even joined the defense force after retiring.

The elite pirate sailors had all died in the sea in previous battles. If they wanted to rely on these second- and third-rate sailors to resist Lin Feng’s elite troops, they would have a chance to win.

After simply repelling the pirates, Grace did not arrange for personnel to continue the pursuit.

Instead, immediately arrange for everyone to build a defense line in situ.

The total number of people who landed on the island is only in the early 1s. According to the information, there are at least [-] people on the island.

200 people against 1 people, no matter how you think about it, you can’t win.

At the same time, after going deeper into the island, the support of naval guns becomes less effective.

In order to ensure safety, it stopped after only pushing the front forward 200 meters.

”Send a signal to the lord, the beachhead has been occupied, and now start to build a defense line.”

Grace, who was on the front line, passed the news to Lin Feng who was behind.

Lin Feng was very happy that the front line could complete the offensive work so smoothly.

The next step is that he landed on the island to detect the situation.

Only after understanding the situation of the island can we plan and prepare for the next attack.

Arrange the ship to approach the sea area, and after reaching 200 meters, Lin Feng and his guard company disembarked and boarded the island.

Let the Black Coral continue sailing in the sea on its own and be ready to provide fire support at any time.

As the threat areas in various parts of the beach have been cleaned up, Lin Feng’s landing process went very smoothly.

As Lin Feng landed on the island, the information on this island was also displayed in front of him one by one.

Observing all the information on the island, Lin Feng was also calculating rapidly in his mind.

Personnel, weapons, terrain, all information was displayed in front of him. At this moment, the entire island had no secrets for him.
