Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 123 Making Small Money

Chapter 123 Making Small Money
Send the written information to Lin Su, and after leaving an explanation, Lin Feng got up and went to the training ground, ready to start additional training for the troops, preparing for the upcoming battle.

Weapons and ammunition were distributed. After yesterday’s test firing, everyone had bright smiles on their faces after receiving the new weapons.

After playing with muskets and M1 rifles, they knew very well how different the two were.

Therefore, after getting the weapons, they all treated them like wives and treated them well.

Everyone left twenty rounds of ammunition for today’s training.

After setting the target and training subjects, Lin Feng left the shooting range and went to take out the upgraded naval gun.

The appearance of the newly upgraded naval gun has undergone tremendous changes, from the original black thick and long to a howitzer with a bracket base.

At the same time, the calibers have also been unified. The original various calibers are now unified into 57 mm artillery.

Brand new artillery, brand new types of ammunition, which made the previous solid projectiles directly useless.

For these useless ammunition, Lin Feng also directly recycles them and throws them into the smelting plant for direct firing into materials.

However, he didn’t retrain all of them, and still left a small amount of ammunition.

As for the gunpowder originally supplied to these shells, Lin Feng directly took away two-thirds to make new shells.

According to Lin Feng’s calculations, the total amount of these gunpowder plus the previously manufactured gunpowder can produce a total of about [-] pieces of naval gun ammunition.

Lin Feng had too many cannonballs, and he might not be able to shoot them all, so he used the charges of a hundred cannonballs to make bullets.

After dismantling two guns from the battleship, Lin Feng brought the new artillery to the test site, anxious to learn from the running troops and a small number of ship artillery operators.

The newly upgraded artillery made everyone a little confused.

The caliber of the gun barrel is so small, how powerful can it be?
According to their cognition, the longer and thicker the barrel, the more powerful it must be.

But compared to the original 32-pound heavy guns on the battleship, this ’gadget’ that Lin Feng took out now really couldn’t catch their eyes.

But immediately after the artillery test, they were surprised.

The installation of the shells is somewhat different from the original stuffing of gunpowder and shells from the front.

The upgraded howitzer is mounted from the rear, but instead of needle fire, it uses flintlock ammunition.

Fill in the projectile warheads, then add the propellant charges.

The grenade here is not the one-piece shell that is common in modern times, but the warhead and the propellant package are installed separately.

After the filling is complete, the fuze is ignited, and almost instantly, the propellant charge in the barrel is ignited to generate huge kinetic energy to push the shell out.

The detonation method of the grenade warhead is not the original fuze ignition, but the pressure detonation.

That is, the force of the impact upon impact with the target ignites the internal charge to detonate.

”Boom———”

The set target was blown out of a big hole in an instant, and the ’dummy’ behind it also suffered a lot of damage.

The goal Lin Feng set was a [-]-centimeter wooden wall, plus a [-]-mm iron-plated wall.

This kind of standard defense is also the defense standard of the two battleships now. Although it may be a little weaker, it is not much different.

But precisely because of this kind of defense, the howitzer penetrated in one hit, and also caused a lot of damage to the target behind the bunker, which made everyone have a new view on the new cannon in an instant.

”Lord, this artillery, is our new equipment next?”

Lin Feng nodded and responded.

”Well, next, everyone in the artillery company and on the ship will start to learn how to use this new artillery. Each squad has two training opportunities for artillery shells. You must train well.”

With Lin Feng’s confirmation, everyone was delighted.

They already knew the situation of the gun test last night, and the appearance of new standard weapons made them greedy gunners.

And the lord sent them good news the next day, which made them all very happy.

Afterwards, Lin Feng repeated the training process, making each of them memorize it firmly, and then hand it over to others.

Lin Feng couldn’t just stay here and supervise them all the time, he had other things to deal with.

……

On the other side, after Lin Su received Lin Feng’s instructions and information, he immediately started to arrange related matters.

Spread the news of the intelligence in hand among the chat groups and start warming up.

The news brought by Lin Su immediately made the group of thousands of people lively, and countless messages flashed through the chat.

Everyone’s first reaction was to look for Lin Su to buy this new information.

The challenge task that just appeared has been discussed by people all over the world, and they think it is a very difficult thing to complete.

According to the population before No. 1 ”Six Masters” in the world, it only reached less than 1 in a month, and how could it be possible to complete the [-] task standard in the next two months.

But at this time, Lin Su had relevant information in his hands, which made them flock to him, wanting to know the news as soon as possible.

With one spread to ten, ten to hundreds, the news was quickly spread.

At this moment, countless people are waiting for Lin Su to ’publish’ this information.

But this time, I’m afraid they will be disappointed.

Lin Feng was in urgent need of materials this time, how could he simply release the information that he sacrificed his life for.

For this sale, Lin Feng intends to continue the previous language sale method.

However, there needs to be a slight change, and the distribution time this time needs to take a week.

There is a lot of information this time, and there is no problem in distributing it bit by bit over seven days.

With the previous information transaction process, Lin Feng still believes that these can be done.

After all, the price of information this time is no better than when supplies were scarce.

One hundred items of supplies, or fifteen items of food.

The high price can make them keep this information as much as possible, so that they dare not release it to the outside world.

At the same time, seven days is enough to attract a large number of people to buy.

In the evening of the same day, Lin Su officially began to sell information after seeing the heat that had already been brewing.

The price of [-] parts of materials has made countless people stop. It’s not that they don’t have it, but this little material is enough to consume their wealth.

For a piece of information, they are thinking about whether it is worth it.

And some people don’t come to get involved, after all, things like intelligence will be revealed sooner or later, it’s just a matter of time.

As long as the time is long enough, it will be the victory of their waiting party.

But there are those who wait patiently, and those who want to get the information as soon as possible.

After the release, I contacted Lin Su as soon as possible, and paid the materials to enter the new trading group.
