Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 128 The Weird Mine Island

Chapter 128 The Weird Mine Island
In the early morning of the next day, Lin Feng, who had arranged all the work, took the Black Coral and a frigate that had been remodeled in advance to the mine island.

There were not many people on this trip, only more than 400 people.

In addition to the replacement personnel, the rest are the personnel who are going to stay on the island for self-supply.

On the frigate, Lin Feng placed food for four days and a full staff.

Their task is to find the location of the mine island according to the nautical chart.

In order to ensure that they are familiar with the route, Lin Feng did not do the piloting work this time.

The task of finding the direction is directly handed over to them to complete. Only when there is a serious deviation, Lin Feng will come forward to correct the work.

In addition to a few necessary guards, the accompanying personnel included thirty crew members of the Zhanlan and Chen Sisi.

The next defense changes will be arranged by Chen Sisi, and she will also need to be brought with her when going to sea this time.

After the first exploration, the direction after going out to sea is to go straight to the target point. Judging from the speed of the ship, under normal circumstances, the destination can be reached before evening.

But that was only with the blessing of Lin Feng’s correction. It was left to the crew to search and move forward on their own. It was only at night that the mine island was found.

According to the arrangement that Lin Feng had left before, the people on the mine island would start burning flames at the highest point on the night of the sixth day for guidance.

Although the burning brightness of the bonfire is not as high as that of the special lighthouse, it can still be found as long as it is close to a certain range.

It is this setting that allows everyone to find the mine island in one day.

Seeing the arrival of the defense fleet, Grace and Fifteen, who were left behind on the island, were very happy.

The remaining food on the island is less than two days. If the lord comes two days later, they will be hungry.

Around the camp on the mine island, Lin Feng temporarily built a new residence for others to rest.

It was night now, and a brief rest was needed after a day of continuous sailing.

After setting up the camp, Lin Feng was not in a hurry to listen to the reports from Greser and Shiwu who were stationed there, and went to the mine to put all the mined minerals into his backpack.

29485 iron ore, 9234 coal.

There is also a small part of magnetic ore in the iron ore, and Lin Feng also counts it in the total.

According to the three-to-one refining ratio, this amount of iron ore can produce less than [-] iron nuggets.

In addition to these, there are other special element ores, and these are the most important.

After recycling was completed, Lin Feng returned to the temporary office and summoned Grace and Fifteen to talk about the recent situation on the island.

”What happened to the island after I left?”

”No, except for the vision that appeared on the day you left, it hasn’t appeared since then.”

While reporting the situation, Grace glanced at Fifteen.

At this time, Shiwu also took a look at Grace, and the two seemed to have reached some kind of tacit agreement.

”but……”

Grace paused, organized her words slightly, and continued.

”But I feel very strange around this island. I have lived at sea for so many years, and I have never seen such a ’quiet’ sea area.”

”Ok?”

It was strange for a person like Grace who had lived at sea for a long time, which made Lin Feng suddenly interested.

”Tell me.”

”I don’t know how to say it. I have lived on countless islands. Apart from your island, this is the place where I feel the most wrong.”

”For seven days in a row, there were no clouds, no wind and waves, and there was not even a single living thing in the surrounding sea area...”

Speaking of this, Lin Feng noticed this.

After the last system upgrade, the perspective function was also upgraded.

In addition to being able to see specific information about each person, there is also a change in perspective distance.

He can ’see’ living creatures or objects within a radius of three kilometers on the island, and he can find objects within a radius of five kilometers after entering the sea.

But since entering this sea area, Lin Feng found that all the fish and sea creatures that were common before had disappeared at this moment.

It seems that in this sea area, his perspective has failed.

In other words, there is no marine life in this sea area at all.

”Go on.”

Lin Feng frowned slightly to signal the other party to continue.

”Especially the weather and environment, which is almost exactly the same every day. If there are no other people on this island and the hourglass is still running, I suspect that time here has been stopped.”

Greser’s words caused Fifteen to nod repeatedly, so it seems that this island is indeed a bit strange.

The last time Lin Feng found it, he simply searched it and left without checking it carefully.

But this time there is enough time, you can stay for a while to see the situation.

After the abnormal report was over, the two briefly reported the daily problems encountered on the mine island.

Most of them were inconveniences in life, Lin Feng wrote them down one by one, and resolved them tomorrow morning.

After all, the first batch of personnel moved in for the purpose of testing and setting up, and mines or strongholds will definitely be built on other islands in the future.

These problems have been improved earlier, and a more complete camp can be quickly built in the future.

After the report task is over, everyone breaks up and goes back to rest.

After arranging the security work for the night, Lin Feng went back to his room to rest.

……

All night.

The next morning, Lin Feng got up early to observe this unusual sea area.

It was difficult to observe last night due to the weather, and now the sun is rising, which is a suitable time for observation.

I came to the observation tower on the top of the ship’s mast to observe for a while, and it was really as stated in the report.

The entire sea area is ’quiet’, and there is almost no wave on the entire sea surface, as if there is no wind in this area.

But that was also an illusion. Lin Feng could clearly feel the strong wind on the coast and on the watchtower.

At the same time, at the top of the watchtower, Lin Feng observed for a long time, but did not see any trace of marine life.

There is a clear gap between this and the vibrant look around his island.

”This is really weird...”

Lin Feng came down from the tower and called a small group of people to row out with him to have a look.

It takes too much time for the big ship to turn around, and the location of the sea is not far away, only 200 meters away from the island.

Putting on protection and simple diving equipment, Lin Feng went directly into the sea to find out.

Lin Feng still remembers the exploration of the underwater relics before, maybe he had to see through the sea to trigger it.

Along with Lin Feng, there were five or six others who went into the sea. They were all veterans of diving, to protect Lin Feng’s safety underwater.

Entering the bottom of the sea, through the rough waterproof glasses, Lin Feng checked the surrounding conditions.

Suddenly, in the field of vision, various perspective information began to gradually appear.

A circle with him as the center is slowly expanding outwards, and all the situations within this range are displayed in front of him.

Stabilizing his body, Lin Feng took a closer look, and three words came to his mind.

’Get rich! ’
