Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 138 Battle against Pirates (3)

Chapter 138 Decisive Battle Against Pirates ([-])

The battle that took place here in the main fleet was almost at the same time as the battle that took place in the branch pursuit fleet.

And after the main pirate fleet was severely damaged, the only destroyer pursued by the branch was already on the verge of collapse.

”Damn, damn, damn, why are the cannons of this frigate so fierce?!!”

The captain of the pirate destroyer was shocked and angry at the moment, looking at the two frigates in the distance, his eyes were full of fear.

Four warships, chasing two frigates, under normal circumstances, is a sure thing.

But these two special frigates did directly backhand a few super-range bombardments, directly destroying his fleet easily.

And now it is concentrating artillery fire on his destroyer.

If it weren’t for the size and tonnage of the destroyer, he would have started to abandon ship and sink like the previous frigate.

”Fire, fire me, concentrate your firepower, even if you die, sink one for me!”

The captain of the destroyer was roaring angrily on the bridge at this moment.

On the deck and in the cabin, it was now a mess and corpses were everywhere.

The pirate sailors who survived here, even if they were ordered at this moment, could not effectively organize their combat power.

Because the teammates who cooperated with them in the past are now in a pool of blood, it is very complicated and difficult for one or several people to drive the artillery.

And temporarily reorganize the team, and the level of cooperation among everyone is not so high. It is basically impossible to achieve a quick and effective counterattack.

But fortunately, the pirates and their party were all fought out of the flames of war. After the captain issued the counterattack horn again, many people still took action.

But out of dozens of artillery pieces, only three were able to fire again.

Moreover, these three gates will also attack the ’little’ frigate that is out of range, and with the bed just received, such a hit rate can be imagined.

The iron projectiles stirred up bursts of water columns in the sea, which did not cause any substantial damage to the frigate dodging at high speed.

”The leader has issued an order, let us block the rear of the opponent’s fleet.”

Claire, who is directing the battle, receives a report from the herald.

Then he took out the binoculars and glanced at the fighting situation next door, and then immediately issued an order.

”Reply to the leader, receive the order, and notify the [-]th ship at the same time, quickly focus on the fire to resolve the battle, and go to perform the new mission.”

Claire’s two instructions were quickly passed back to the Black Coral and Ship [-].

After receiving the order to focus fire, the two frigates stopped dodging. After stabilizing the best attack angle of the ships, the two warships and their 24 guns roared at the same time.

Every upgraded warship will be equipped with a set of very accurate ranging tools.

Even without Lin Feng’s perspective data, the shelling error would not exceed a distance of 30 meters.

Under this error, it is not too easy to concentrate destroyers with a length of 60 meters.

”Boom-boom-boom-”

The two frigates ceased fire and left after three rounds of continuous bombardment.

The ammunition that the frigate can carry is limited, and the number of ammunition for each door is set at 12 rounds.

A ship with 24 cannons would require 280 eight rounds of shells.

The ammunition stored on the two frigates accounted for one-third.

Three rounds of bombardment plus the previous continuous strikes, this is already considered a super saturated blow.

If the battleship can still operate and maintain combat effectiveness under such bombardment, then Claire has nothing to say.

After getting rid of the chasing fleet, the two frigates immediately followed the previous orders and relied on maneuvers to quickly circle to the rear of the pirate fleet and encircle it.

”Boom-boom-boom-”

There are seven warships on both sides, and the nearest ships are less than 200 meters apart at this moment.

The 24 cannons of the pirate cruiser are firing desperately and continuously.

And the destroyer following behind is also rushing through the final distance at the fastest speed, preparing to board the battleship.

But Lin Feng would not let them succeed, he redistributed the firepower targets, and focused on attacking ships close to him first.

The howitzer has a unique flaw, it cannot fire after getting close to a certain distance.

Because the anti-shrapnel of the grenade has a high chance of blowing itself up.

After approaching the limit range of 50 meters, the howitzer can only be turned off to prepare for close combat.

But from this distance, you can bombard the opponent as much as you want.

There was a sudden increase in targeted attacks, and the first two destroyers that approached were instantly set on fire.

After one of them suffered a severe blow, the ammunition depot in the middle of the ship was accidentally set alight.

The huge explosion blew the entire ship into two pieces, and the thick smoke hundreds of meters high divided the battlefield on both sides into two.

And Lin Feng, who was not far away, also saw this scene through the observation room of the bridge.

At a distance of less than 500 meters, the shock wave of the explosion caused the battleship of more than [-] tons to shake slightly.

Lin Feng inside the ship also felt the power of the explosion.

”This explosion is really spectacular, a destroyer just disappeared...”

After muttering in a low voice, Lin Feng looked at the other target.

Under the attack of concentrated artillery, the tragic degree of this destroyer is not much better than the one that was killed just now.

The masts on the ship and the collision angle of the bow have all been blown to pieces.

There are even three or four large holes on the side. Looking through the holes, many surviving pirate sailors are using planks to rescue them.

And there is no operator in sight at the artillery position, which also means that another battleship has lost its combat capability.

2V3!
This is the new battlefield situation!
In less than a minute, I lost two more destroyers here.

The sea wolf looked at the situation in front of him with a gloomy face at the moment, and at the same time there was a trace of fear in his eyes.

It’s not like he hasn’t suffered such battle damage before.

Back then when he started from scratch, he was besieged by a certain principality’s fleet, and among dozens of warships, only one escaped.

But back then, he was hunted down by hundreds of battleships, but this time he was directly defeated by two, oh no, four battleships.

He has never seen such a terrifying battleship.

At the same time, his own artillery fire did not cause any damage to the opponent.

Just now, dozens of shells have been determined to be concentrated on the opponent, but after hitting them, it is like scratching an itch.

The iron ball hit just made a mark on the opponent’s warship before falling into the sea.

Faced with such a terrifying defense, Sea Wolf immediately decided to retreat.

”Withdraw, return to the port of the archipelago, relying on the ship defense fortifications, the opponent has only four ships, and the number of people will not exceed a thousand. I don’t believe that I can’t defend it with 1 people!”

The sea wolf gave the order to retreat, and the sailors below breathed a sigh of relief.

Facing such a powerful ’monster’, they really couldn’t muster up the courage to fight, and now they were finally able to leave, and everyone put up all their energy to escape.
