Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 108 Nautical Chart

Chapter 108 Nautical Chart

Seeing Lin Feng’s smile, Luo Kun realized that the other party already knew his identity.

It is precisely for this reason that they attacked as soon as they approached the island.

But how did the other party know his identity?

On this vast sea, if you encounter an unknown fleet, can you be sure that it is a pirate?

But thinking of the other party’s ability to take things out of thin air and create them, Luo Kun suddenly thought of an ancient legend...

”Very well, I hope you can answer the next question truthfully.”

”As pirates, you must have your own stronghold, right? Where is it?”

As he spoke, Lin Feng took out a nautical chart and hung it on the wooden wall for the other party to identify.

……

The interrogation lasted for more than half an hour, and Lin Feng wrote down the information he wanted to know one by one.

Afterwards, he briefly instructed several subordinates who followed him, teaching them how to use various instruments of torture.

Of course, the target of the simulation is Luo Kun who is tied to the chair.

Listening to all kinds of strange languages and the gestures of various tools on his body, Luo Kun was frightened and trembled in just 10 minutes.

After sending Luo Kun back to Jianji, Lin Feng handed over the work of interrogation to his subordinates.

Have them interrogate the remaining personnel instead.

However, the subjects of the interrogation were also the managers of the fleet.

As for the ordinary pirates, there is no need to interrogate them yet.

After more than 40 minutes of tossing, the rest of the staff on the island also got up one after another to prepare for breakfast, and then went to training.

Although there was a big battle yesterday, the necessary daily training will continue.

However, the training in the morning did not last forever. After an hour of simple training, I started to arrange today’s work.

The first is to burn the body, which is time and physical work.

With previous experience, this can be considered an easy task.

The burning of the two groups of corpses has their different destinations.

Lin Feng planned to bury the ashes of his own people, and build a public grave for memorial service.

After all, they also died for him. In order to give others a higher sense of belonging, Lin Feng planned to hold an award and funeral.

Winning battles must be encouraged, and those who died also need to be buried in order to increase their sense of belonging.

Lin Feng is still working on these matters, but it will take some time.

After transferring today’s task to everyone, Lin Feng returned to a combat office in the barracks alone.

Of course, this place was just renamed the Operations Department by him, and there were copies of large and small nautical charts hanging on it.

After a simple comparison and calculation of the location of the base camp pointed out by the pirates and its own location, it was found that the location of the pirate’s base camp was more than 800 kilometers to the east.

After cross-examination, they learned that they were heading north all the way, planning to leave the barren deep-sea area, and planned to go to the rich area where the islands were concentrated to find some work.

But on the way, I saw the expedition treasure hunting fleet composed of the original Black Coral, Robin and other battleships. The expedition into the barren sea must be long and dangerous.

Therefore, Luo Kun planned to follow them and find a way to get a ticket, but after tracking them more than a week ago, he accidentally lost his target.

After tracking for a period of time and still not finding the target, Luo Kun planned to return to the voyage, wandering around the fleet’s supply, maybe squatting until they return to the voyage.

The distance of more than 800 kilometers is not too far, judging from the speed of the last voyage to the mine island.

Sailing 800 kilometers a day is a trivial matter, and the distance of more than [-] kilometers can be reached in a straight line in less than a week.

At the same time, less than a hundred kilometers south of the opponent’s base camp, there is a volcano that produces sulfur and various auxiliary minerals.

This is what Lin Feng needs to pay attention to. The production of gunpowder is inseparable from sulfur. If he can take down this volcano and find a place to collect nitrate, then he will be able to realize the freedom of gunpowder.

At that time, he will also be able to put the musket shooting training into daily life, and at the same time upgrade the naval guns to more powerful and destructive grenades.

A little later, maybe flintlock guns and bolt-action rifles can be produced.

But for all of that, the volcanic island must be taken down first.

However, according to Luo Kun’s confession, they, the pirates of the Wave Fleet, also set up their base camp nearby because of the volcano’s production.

If you want to take down the volcano, you must first clear this pirate fleet.

Lin Feng also had a general understanding of the overall strength of this pirate team.

There are a total of six fleets under his banner, five of which have the same specifications as him, four escorts and one destroyer.

The remaining fleet was formed by their boss. The flagship was a Tier [-] cruiser, and there was also a super fleet composed of three destroyers and seven frigates.

But under normal circumstances, except for their boss’ fleet, the remaining five fleets will go out to sea to find targets to plunder supplies.

According to the situation of the last voyage, it is estimated that their next return time will be one month later.

If Lin Feng wants to make a surprise attack, the best time is to launch a surprise attack within this month.

After returning to Hong Kong after a long time at sea, the pirates must relax for a while.

This time is also related to the plundered loot and new information.

If there was a big fish, they would set sail again, but if nothing happened, everyone would prefer to rest on the island on land rather than spend time in the smelly cabin of the ship.

As for the return of a fleet missing, it is also a common thing among pirates, so it will not cause vigilance.

2V11 and 2V31, Lin Feng naturally knows which one has a higher winning rate.

Although 2V11 is not an absolute thing, as long as he does not face 31 warships at the same time, Lin Feng is still very confident in his upgraded warship.

Under this siege, except for the fact that the unupgraded Robin was dragging its feet, the battle situation was anxious for a while.

Otherwise, it would not be a problem to rely on the Black Coral to wipe out the opponent easily. After all, this is a crushing in terms of tonnage.

However, it is not an easy task to attack from a distance of more than 800 kilometers. If you are lucky, it will take at least half a month to resolve the battle and complete the occupation of the volcanic island within two days, plus the time to go back and forth.

Not being supervised on the island for more than half a month is a big problem.

Even if these problems are solved, the pirate fleet that will return later will still be a problem. There must be ships guarding there, otherwise the territory that has been won with great difficulty will be taken away again.

Lin Feng withdrew his gaze from looking at the map, sat aside and took out a piece of paper and began to write a new plan on it.

The volcanic island must be taken, and this time the half-month voyage time, Lin Feng can also test various problems in the ocean, and make preparations in advance for the next trip to pick up his sister.
