Global Arrival: Survival on a Desert Island

Chapter 141 Battle against Pirates (6)

Chapter 141 Decisive Battle with Pirates ([-])

Seeing the extent of the damage on the Black Coral, Lin Feng was a little startled.

This kind of artillery on the opposing island is absolutely irresistible. Although the battleship has been remodeled, it has not reached the point of being indestructible.

If it hits a few more rounds in a row, it is estimated that the battleship will not be able to stand it.

”Retreat, before the opponent’s next round of attack is completed, first withdraw from the artillery attack range.”

Immediately, Lin Feng made a decision to withdraw from the attack range first.

”But the opponent only has the last two battleships left... If we fight harder, we might be able to kill the sea wolf directly. As long as the sea wolf dies, the people on the island will definitely surrender...”

But Luo Kun was a little reconciled, looking at the sea wolf so close at hand, as long as he was wiped out, taking the islands would be a matter of minutes.

Lin Feng also knew about this, but the risk was too great, and the opponent was only less than 400 meters away from the archipelago. If he continued to pursue him, he would probably be within the attack range of other artillery on the island.

After all, in the binoculars, Lin Feng also saw a lot of ’small caliber’ artillery and they were ready.

Although he is not worried about these artillery pieces, a large number will always cause some unnecessary troubles.

Lin Feng shook his head and said in a deep voice.

”This matter is not urgent. Inform other ships to withdraw.”

As the highest commander of the fleet, after issuing the evacuation order, the sailors on the ship immediately began to execute it unconditionally.

As the two warships turned away, the sea wolf on the cruiser also heaved a sigh of relief.

It seems that the defense measures that I spent a lot of materials to build back then are still very effective.

If the opponent continued to attack, he probably had to die at the door of his house.

But at the same time, there is a high probability that the opponent will be blown to pieces by the artillery fire of his own men.

The opponent’s retreat also shows that the opponent is not willing to take this risk.

As long as you live now, everything will be easy to say next.

After retreating one kilometer away from the islands, the artillery fire on the island stopped attacking.

Just now, at a distance of [-] kilometers, the artillery fire on Shanbo proved that their artillery range and accuracy were also a threat at this distance.

He continued to retreat until he was two kilometers away, and then Lin Feng gave the order to stop the boat and rest.

The two frigates following behind also approached the ship, preparing for ammunition replenishment.

”In this battle, the Black Coral consumed a total of 248 ammunition, the Robin consumed 229, and the 427 and [-] consumed a total of [-].”

”In this battle, only the Black Coral was seriously attacked. 8 people were killed and 25 people were injured. There were no serious injuries. Now the damaged part of the ship is being repaired.”

Listening to the summary of the battle damage, Lin Feng felt a little distressed.

Blue Star has a saying that once a cannon goes off, gold is worth ten thousand taels. This sentence cannot help but be heard even now.

The four warships consumed a total of more than [-] shells, and these shells were already half of his inventory.

At the same time, damage to ships and casualties are inevitable.

”About the ammunition issue, I will arrange supplies when I am resting, and then we have to figure out how to eat this last part.”

”The defense information on the archipelago, Luo Kun also said, but after the real experience, if we want to launch a strong attack again, our losses will definitely be great. Do you have any good solutions?”

Looking at the elites of the various ships that had been summoned, Lin Feng asked them to think about the problem.

In this area, he is not a professional. Although he has experienced the historical baptism of various modern film and television and ancient wars, his war awareness and thinking are far superior to others.

But in terms of specific experience, he is still far from enough. If he hastily commanded and issued orders, the entire ship will eventually be wiped out in this sea area.

Looking at the silent crowd, Greser was the first to stand up and speak.

”The power of the artillery on the archipelago is indeed beyond our plan. At the same time, according to the layout of this side, the other three sides should only be more powerful.”

Grace said slightly hoarsely while pointing on a map of the archipelago that had just been drawn.

”Although the opponent only fired once, in terms of power, the caliber of each cannon is at least 200 mm or more.”

”There are quite a few of this kind of artillery in the principality. As far as I know, it takes at least 5 minutes to reload such a artillery after firing, and the range is about one kilometer.”

”In other words, as long as the opponent fires, there will be a fire vacuum area for 5 minutes. With the speed of our ships, 5 minutes is enough to kill directly to the edge of the archipelago.”

Listening to Grace’s data, Lin Feng was also silently calculating in his heart.

”However, we will encounter more intense resistance after arriving in the archipelago, so it is not a good choice to rush in. The best way is to drive the warship into the maximum range of our artillery, and attack the opponent’s artillery and shore at an ultra-long distance. defense position.”

”As long as the opponent’s heavy artillery and coastal defense positions are destroyed, our equipment advantages will be highlighted after landing on the island.”

”But I have carefully observed that every heavy artillery of the opponent is under the bunker, and it is difficult to kill it.”

Greser’s plan is very long, but the general meaning is very clear.

A forced landing can be done, but before that, the danger on the opponent’s beach must be cleared.

”Don’t worry about the bunker attack. I don’t believe that two battleships, 64 artillery can attack a position, and they can’t blow through them?”

After Lin Feng finished listening, he added confidently that he wasn’t too worried about Greser’s worries.

These naval guns attack a target at the same time, and the damage they can cause is very terrifying.

And even if one round is not bad, then there will be two more rounds.

Although there is not much ammunition, but when facing the last level, Lin Feng will not be stingy with this consumption.

After all, compared to the benefits that the islands can bring, the consumption of a little ammunition is just drizzle.

As long as we can capture the archipelago and complete the two-month challenge mission.

But even if he can’t take down the islands now, Lin Feng is not worried.

Today’s battle, plus yesterday’s sneak attack and annihilation of the fleet, the task progress has reached 8567/10000 at this moment, and the main big heads are obtained by direct killing.

It’s a pity that the task requirement must be to kill or join, such as the captive, which cannot be counted in the task.

Otherwise, he should have completed the task of controlling the more than 3000 residents on the volcanic island this time.

At the same time, the remaining population is very poor. Even if Lin Feng retreats directly this time and returns to his own island, he is confident that he can get it together in the next month and a half.

Taking a step back, now he only needs to return to the volcanic island and kill half of the people. This task can be completed directly.

But Lin Feng did not do this. He would only choose this approach when there was no gain in the end.
