Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2628: Chapter 62: Great Witch (3)

Mo Hua’s own gains were quite significant.

He roughly determined that his pursuit of the Dao concept was feasible, which allowed him to accumulate rich experience.

And in order to impart the Dao and teach the children of the Barbarian Tribes, guiding them in cultivation.

Mo Hua collected the cultivation inheritances and ancient texts from most of the tribal regions within the seven Barbaric Mountain Realms under his influence, and processed, integrated, compiled, and recorded them.

These inherited texts are quite a fortune.

Thanks to this, Mo Hua gained a deeper understanding of the history of the Great Wilderness and the cultivation system.

He also restored three sets of the forging methods for Barbarian Armor.

Besides the Black Horn Barbarian Armor, there were also the Red Fire Barbarian Armor, Night Barbarian Armor, and Green Vine Barbarian Armor.

These three sets of Barbarian Armor, after improvements by Sword Bone and arrangements by Elder Jiao Hu, have been crafted and equipped on the allied Barbarian Cultivators.

Wearing Barbarian Armor, orders are obeyed without question.

Now, the Barbarian Cultivators under Mo Hua’s command increasingly resemble the Barbarian Soldiers of the Great Wilderness.

Apart from armor forging techniques, Mo Hua unexpectedly found several texts on Demon Bone divination skills.

Most were incomplete, and in these lower tribes, almost no Barbarian Cultivator knew how to master these divination skills, thus they were poorly preserved.

But these fragments are extremely precious to Mo Hua.

What he lacked was not an understanding of the Way of Cause and Effect, but rather the means to specifically implement the Causality Skill.

He only needed some fragmentary texts to inspire his thoughts.

He could rely on his exceptional Divine Sense, absurd computational power, and high intuition to restore and complete the divination methods by himself.

The Causality Skill is extremely important.

In these two years, Mo Hua spent a considerable portion of his free time studying these fragmented ancient divination texts of the Great Wilderness.

Using Divine Sense and computational power, he restored, completed, and deduced them by himself.

The scattered ancient divination fragments of various Barbarian tribes functioned, allowing Mo Hua to accumulate expertise in the Causality Skill, intensifying invisibly.

While researching these ancient, obscure, and incomplete barbarian divination texts, Mo Hua surprisingly discovered some Ancient Wilderness Text.

These ancient characters, descended from an unknown tribe, were even more fragmented and scattered, not clearly defined and enigmatic.

But among them, one word made Mo Hua’s heart tremble:

”Great Witch...”

Mo Hua’s thoughts were fluctuating.

According to the Second Elder, the Second Grade twenty-four patterns Twelve Scripture Gluttonous Spirit Corpse Extremist Formation was crafted by a brilliantly talented Great Wilderness Great Witch.

But Mo Hua didn’t know if the ”Great Witch” mentioned in these causality fragments was the same person as the ”Great Witch” who created the Taotie Spirit Formation mentioned by the Second Elder.

”If it is the same person, then would this Great Witch not only be proficient in formations but also in the Way of Cause and Effect?”

Mo Hua pondered for a moment and felt it was reasonable.

Since one can become a Great Witch, surely their skill is immense, being proficient in formations and adept at divination and fortune-telling is logical...

Just like himself.

But the problem is, are these two ”Great Witches” really the same person?

How many Great Witches were there in the history of the Great Wilderness?

Such questions, Mo Hua found difficult to ask directly.

After all, he is now a ”Witch,” and cannot ask such ”low-level” questions.

Yet, he couldn’t suppress his curiosity and talked to Elder Zamu with an ”I’m testing you” approach, probing for information.

The result surprised Mo Hua greatly.

Elder Zamu actually knew nothing of any so-called ”Great Witch.”

According to him, on the land of the Great Wilderness, there is only the ”Upper Witch,” that is the upper-ranking Witch, but there has never been any ”Great Witch.”

Mo Hua didn’t believe and checked with others, similarly ”tested,” but no Barbarian Cultivator mentioned the term ”Great Witch.”

It seems as though these three words were obliterated from the history of the Great Wilderness.

Not only the person ”Great Witch,” but even the title has ceased to exist.

Mo Hua frowned, feeling somewhat inexplicably weird.

He even felt a vague and eerie chill enveloping his heart.

But the clue to the Great Witch ended here.

Mo Hua wanted to investigate but had no way to begin.

Meanwhile, there was another practical problem before him:

Should he attack the Third Grade Mountain Realm?

If attacking, how should he attack?

Even though he has unified seven Second Grade small Mountain Realms now, with power and troops enlarged greatly and a solid base among the lower-level barbarian cultivators.

But this does not mean he truly possesses the strength to challenge the robust Third Grade Mountain Realm.

The difference between Second and Third Grade is significant.

Not to mention, there are large tribes with Late Golden Core Stage sitting in the Third Grade realms.

But if he doesn’t attack, his forces won’t be able to develop further.

The surrounding seven small Mountain Realms have all been conquered, and there’s no way to expand outwards.

And once Zasht, Jiao Li, and those battling barbarian cultivators stop, problems will surely arise.

Their consciousness is not that high.

In their loyalty, there remains selfishness and greed.

They may not dare to resist him, the Witch, but amongst themselves, they will surely fall into internal strife.

Both conservative and expansive approaches have issues.

Mo Hua found this quite taxing, contemplating for a long time without a good solution.

Luckily, when he had some free time, Mo Hua went once to the rear mountain of Wutu Mountain Realm to see the Big Tiger.

...

The Big Tiger is living quite comfortably now.

Mo Hua designated a large area where barbarian cultivators are prohibited to roam for the Big Tiger to enjoy.

With food and drink, it calls the wind and summons the rain leisurely in the mountains and forests, thriving impressively, its physique even more robust, and fur becoming thicker and vivid, whiter white, darker black, appearing both majestic and handsome.

And the happiest days for the Big Tiger, naturally, are when Mo Hua visits it and grills meat for it.

Mo Hua stroked the Big Tiger’s fur and couldn’t help but think about creating armor for the Big Tiger, letting it join him in conquering the Third Grade Mountain Realm?

But after looking at the joyful Big Tiger, Mo Hua shook his head.

No...

At least not now.

The Big Tiger’s realm is at its peak in Second Grade, and though it is a powerful Monster Beast, even as a King of Demons, it has a fighting strength against Golden Core cultivators, but that does not mean it can really kill Golden Cores.

Even if it could kill Golden Cores, it certainly would be heavily injured, perhaps even on the verge of death.

This is not what Mo Hua wants to see.

Moreover, if the intention is truly to attack the Third Grade Mountain Realm, the enemy would not be just a few Golden Cores.

The Big Tiger’s identity is special, once it appears, it will attract the barbarian tribes’ contention.

The final result could very likely lead to a major crisis.

Mo Hua rubbed the white fur on the Big Tiger’s neck and sighed, muttering:

”Forget it, your value is too high, you can’t enter the stage yet.”

The Big Tiger, baffled, swung its big head, then reached out with its fluffy paw, gesturing at the Blazing Fire Formation on the ground, indicating Mo Hua should quickly grill some meat, its belly was very hungry.

Mo Hua felt a bit helpless.

”This silly tiger... has truly become sentient...”

He could only light the Blazing Fire Formation and continue roasting meat for the Big Tiger.

After finishing grilling the meat and feeding the Big Tiger, Mo Hua returned to the tribe and thought for a long time, still determined to find a way to penetrate the Third Grade Mountain Realm.

Despite the difficulties, even if it appears impossible, it must still be attempted.

Moreover, the major tribes of the Third Grade Mountain Realm have a long history, undoubtedly more causality texts, and ancient writings that remain more complete.

There should even be Third Grade Barbarian Gods.

If so, he might be able to gain richer Telekinesis, learn more advanced causality, and explore...

More forbidden secrets...
