Immortality Through Array Formations

Chapter 2613: Chapter 58: Honored Shaman

Of course, it’s still too early to talk about making great achievements now.

Mo Hua turned his head, surveyed the remnants of the barbarian tribes in front of him, and shook his head inwardly.

The rebellion in the Great Wilderness, the Royal Court conscripts all the elite barbarian cultivators from the Three Thousand Tribes, treating them like prime crops to be ”harvested.”

What was left were some transitional, less talented ”defective products.”

Moreover, these two hundred barbarian cultivators came from different tribes, each with different customs, beliefs, and attire, and their statures varied as well, looking like a group of ”ragtag soldiers.”

He had used intimidation to forcibly gather these barbarian cultivators. Their hearts were not united, and they basically lacked coordination in combat.

As for weapons and armor, they were extremely crude.

During battles, the barbarian beast pattern formations they used were equally low-grade and pitifully few in number, with all the barbarian formation patterns combined numbering no more than one hand of Mo Hua’s.

There were only three to five Foundation Building Cultivators in total, and they were all of the primary rank.

The rest were all Qi Refinement.

From the perspective of small tribes in the Great Wilderness, it was actually not bad, but in Mo Hua’s eyes, they were nothing more than shrimp soldiers and crab generals.

However, since the endeavor was just starting, he couldn’t be too demanding.

There were many preparations to be made.

Training soldiers, forging armor, inscribing formations... and so on, all needed to be tackled step by step.

Mo Hua’s next step was to attack the Wulu Tribe and completely unify the mountain realm of this area.

The Three Thousand Mountains didn’t have the concept of ”state boundaries,” which was replaced by ”mountain realms.”

Natural mountain ranges were used as boundaries to distinguish the rank of regions.

Within the Nine State, the name ”state boundary” was fixed and had been used since ancient times.

But in the Great Wilderness, the name for a ”mountain realm” couldn’t be fixed.

Originally, the strongest tribe in a mountain realm gave its name to the area.

But because of the chaos and turmoil in the Great Wilderness, with tribes large and small constantly rising and falling, merging and splitting frequently, the names of ”mountain realms” changed again and again.

It was possible for a mountain realm to have dozens of name changes within decades, making references extremely confused.

Gradually, no tribe bothered to name ”mountain realms” anymore.

Barbarians lived in conventionally agreed-upon areas, making a living close to home, remaining relatively closed off, and rarely traveled far unless forced to migrate due to survival needs.

Thus, the concept of a ”mountain realm” gradually faded.

It is said that previously, when the Taoist Court tried to take control of the Great Wilderness, they attempted to redefine ”state boundaries” within the Three Thousand Wilderness to divide the regions, but met with strong resistance from the barbarian tribes.

Moreover, implementing this plan was fraught with difficulties regarding language, customs, boundary determination, and naming, making it nearly impossible to enforce.

Forcibly pushing it only wasted manpower and had little significance, as the barbarian tribes themselves did not acknowledge the Taoist Court’s division. Over time, it was simply left unsettled.

These were all told to Mo Hua by Elder Zamu.

The Wulu Tribe was the strongest tribe within the mountain realm where Mo Hua resided.

When Mo Hua previously went ”hunting” in the Wulu Tribe, stealing offerings to the Barbarian God, he developed a deep impression of this tribe.

They were belligerent, bloodthirsty, cruel, and indiscriminately slaughtered.

Additionally, the tribe had a large population, nearly two thousand barbarian cultivators, with three in the Foundation Establishment Late Stage, and another twenty in the Foundation Establishment Early and Middle Stage.

In this surrounding area, they were indeed considered a ”colossus.”

And this was the remaining strength of the Wulu Tribe after being conscripted by the Great Wilderness Royal Court.

Otherwise, the strength of the Wulu Tribe might have been even greater.

Therefore, when Mo Hua hinted at wanting to attack the Wulu Tribe, he naturally faced opposition from many of the barbarian elder underlings.

Although Mo Hua’s status was noble and his cultivation unfathomable, the strength of the Wulu Tribe was equally terrifying.

Furthermore, the Wulu Tribe had too many people, and were bloodthirsty and belligerent.

Sending these two hundred ”ragtag troop” to fight the Wulu Tribe would undoubtedly be a suicide mission.

If they really fought, it was uncertain how many would return alive.

Yet, due to Mo Hua’s majesty, these elders from the small subordinate tribes didn’t dare oppose him openly, but instead muttered discouraging remarks in hopes of dispelling this Shaman Lord’s blind confidence.

Elder Zamu was equally worried, thinking they shouldn’t provoke the fearsome Wulu Tribe.

He knew too well the bloodthirsty cruelty of the Wulu Tribe.

But since he was the first elder to submit to Mo Hua, he remained silent when other elders opposed.

Mo Hua’s expression remained calm as he intentionally let the others voice their objections, and then asked Elder Zamu, who had remained silent:

”Elder Zamu, what do you think?”

Elder Zamu looked at Mo Hua, pondered for a long while, sighed inwardly, and cupped his hands solemnly:

”Our Wutu Tribe is willing to follow the Shaman Lord through fire and water, never regretting even in death. As for the attack on Wulu, the decision is up to the Shaman Lord.”

An arrow released cannot be retracted.

Since he agreed to submit to the Shaman Lord, he naturally had to support all of the Shaman Lord’s plans.

The more others opposed, the more this ”adherent” had to stand up in support.

Mo Hua nodded slightly, ”Elder Zamu speaks reasonably, then it’s decided, three days from now, we attack the Wulu Tribe.”

There were other tribal elders who wanted to object.

Mo Hua merely gave them a cool glance.

The elders felt a tremble throughout their bodies and dared not speak further.

They could only cup their hands, ”Yes, Shaman Lord.”

”We will strictly follow the Shaman Lord’s orders.”

Afterwards, the elders dispersed.

Elder Zamu stayed behind, glanced at Mo Hua, but in the end, asked nothing, only respectfully performed a salute, and then turned to leave.
