Mythical Professions are all my employees

Chapter 30: Successful Deception, Employee #2, Code Name 'Frost'!Chapter 30: Successful Deception, Second Employee, Code Name ’Frost’!
Gu Yiyun stared in disbelief at the scene before her.

It appeared to be a huge conference room, bright and clean, with warm but not scorching sunlight streaming onto her.

Directly opposite her sat a man dressed in a casual suit, but with a pure white smiling mask on his face.

The man sat casually and elegantly in the chair, his legs crossed. His white mask had no eye holes; only a pair of curved smiles could be seen, not his eyes.

This gave her an indescribable sense of mystery.

She was stunned for a moment before suddenly coming to her senses.

The other party said he was...

The amusement park, the owner?!
Is he the boss who caused such a huge commotion in Rabbit Ben yesterday?

Gu Yiyun forced herself to calm down, and after a long while, she finally managed to speak: ”This is... a dungeon?”

She turned her head and looked around.

It was already midnight outside, but the sun was shining brightly inside, yet she wasn’t particularly shocked. After all, there were dungeons... and the Rabbit Dungeon, both normal and hard, was always open during the day.

”To be precise, it’s the interview location... but it wouldn’t be wrong to call it a copy.”

The smiling masked man thought for a moment and then smiled gently.

”Do you know my sister? Where is she now? Is she safe?”

Gu Yiyun got straight to the point... This was clearly what she most urgently wanted to know right now.

”Regarding this...”

Qin Fang paused for a moment, then smiled and said, ”I think you’ll have to investigate this matter yourself; I can’t give you an answer.”

”What?” Gu Yiyun looked stunned.

”This is the interview location for the amusement park. We invited you here today mainly for an interview. As for other things... you can find out for yourself after you join the company. Of course, that’s assuming you’re willing to join us.”

This question left Gu Yiyun silent for a long time. Finally, she took a deep breath and looked intently at Qin Fang: ”Okay... So, what kind of organization is Paradise? Why did they choose me?”

”To answer your second question first... We have already assessed your potential to join us. Therefore, we invite you to join us.”

”As for the first question... what kind of organization are we?”

Qin Fang pondered for a moment, then smiled and said, ”It’s probably a loosely organized human free organization, right? If you’re worried that we’re related to the Divine Descent Cult or other races, you can rest assured that all members of our organization are human, and there are no human traitors like those from the Divine Descent Cult.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Yiyun frowned deeply. This answer seemed to make little difference compared to not answering at all.

She was silent for a while before asking, ”If I join you, what would I be expected to do on a regular basis?”

”You don’t need to do anything special. Just invest your resources, upgrade your skills, do whatever you want... Well, just don’t betray humanity or sell out the members of Paradise. There are no other mandatory requirements.”

Qin Fang thought for a moment and said.

Gu Yiyun was a little confused...

what is this?
What’s the difference between joining the amusement park and not joining it?
She looked at the masked man in front of her with suspicion.

Seeing her expression, Qin Fang smiled and said, ”You’re probably thinking that joining Paradise and not joining Paradise seems to make no difference... right?”

Gu Yiyun didn’t speak, but silence was the best answer.

”I’ll keep you in suspense for now. You’ll understand the difference once you sign the contract. Hmm... there are some simple guidelines in the contract regarding the future conduct of members of the amusement park... but they are just simple guidelines and not mandatory. And believe me, it’s not a bad thing, nor is it difficult.”

Gu Yiyun remained silent, but her brows furrowed, clearly deep in thought.

Before she could speak, Qin Fang continued with a smile, ”You probably also want to ask what the benefits of joining the amusement park are? You’ll find out after the contract is signed.”

Well, after all that talk, it’s like I said nothing at all!

Why is this amusement park so mysterious?
Gu Yiyun frowned.

Qin Fang paused for a moment before smiling and saying, ”I know you don’t trust me. But... you should at least trust your sister, right? After all, it was she who submitted your resume to us.”

These words clearly moved Gu Yiyun.

She was silent for only a moment, then gritted her teeth and said, ”Fine, I’ll join!”

Qin Fang sat up straight and smiled, ”Okay... let’s sign the contract then.”

After she finished speaking, Gu Yiyun saw a burst of white light emanate from the other person’s palm, and the next moment, a paper contract appeared in his hand.

He gently pushed the contract across the long conference table, placing it in front of her.

Gu Yiyun frowned, picked up the contract, and began to examine it carefully.

Then it was discovered that the contract terms were extremely simple... even outrageously simple.

Only three requirements were put forward.

Firstly, in the future, when she runs a dungeon and breaks a speedrun record, first clear record, or enters any leaderboard, she must use the name ’Paradise’.

Secondly, she needs to come up with a code name for herself. When acting in the name of ”Paradise,” she must act under the code name and try not to reveal her identity as a ”Paradise member” to anyone.

Thirdly, one must not betray humanity.

Nothing else.

But these three points made Gu Yiyun’s expression turn strange... Breaking speedrun records? Even first-time clear records? Various leaderboards?

It must also be called an amusement park?

She really wanted to ask the other person... did they even know what her profession was?

She’s just an ordinary pastor!

Can she really do something like that?
...Wait a minute, could it be that because my sister is an epic class, they assume that I am also an epic class?

Thinking of this, she said with a strange expression, ”I’ve read the contract, and it’s basically fine, but... I’m not sure if you really know me?”

Qin Fang smiled and said, ”Believe me, we know you better than you think.”

”But I’m just a regular priest, what do I know about breaking speedrun records...”

Gu Yiyun pointed to the first one.

”If you are interested in joining, sign your name where it is. Then you will understand the meaning of these terms.”

Gu Yiyun couldn’t see Qin Fang’s expression, but he was already wearing a mysterious white mask, and this smile made him seem even more mysterious.

Gu Yiyun was puzzled, but remembering that it was her sister’s recommendation, she hesitated for a moment, but finally picked up the pen that had been prepared beside her and looked at the contract.

The contract has two signature areas. The first one is the code area.

In other words, she now needs to come up with a code name for the amusement park.

Are there any requirements for the code name?

She looked up and asked Qin Fang.

”A code name is fine, preferably one or two characters. Hmm, here’s a suggestion: perhaps your code name could lean towards something like ’ice’ or ’cold’,” Qin Fang said with a smile.

”Ice cold?”

Gu Yiyun looked at Qin Fang with a puzzled expression, not understanding why he would give such a hint.
But Qin Fang said no more.

Gu Yiyun buried her head again, and after thinking about it, she stopped worrying about it.

In this case……

She wrote a word in the ’code name’ position.

frost.

Code name ’Frost’!
Then, at the final signature section, he signed his name.

”and then?”

She looked up.

The other person had already stood up, a gentle smile on their face: ”Well then, welcome to the park. If we need anything from you in the future, we’ll give you a call. Well then, until we meet again.”

”Ok?”

Before Gu Yiyun could recover, the next moment, a flash of light appeared, and she felt a wave of dizziness before her figure vanished...

……

After I came to my senses again.

Gu Yiyun found that she was back in her room.

Gu Yiyun was stunned.

...what do you mean?
Is that all?
Is there nothing else?

She was a little confused.

Just then, she suddenly saw a flashing purple light.

A sudden jolt went through me, and I instinctively lowered my head.

Only then did she realize that the contract had somehow ended up in her hands.

At this moment, purple flames are burning on that contract!
The purple flames were eerie, and she was instantly startled, instinctively shaking her hands repeatedly, trying to throw them away.

But it was too late.

The purple flames, like maggots clinging to a bone, instantly spread to her body.

She was shocked; had she been scammed?
Before she could even react, her control panel suddenly popped up automatically without her summoning it.

Then she was horrified to discover that the purple flames had not only burned her body, but had even burned her panel!
The professional skill panel is on fire!

This!
She was shocked and quickly looked over.

Then she saw the text on her panel jumping and disappearing!
The original white panel, illuminated by the purple flames, gradually turned purple.

Just as she was filled with anxiety and didn’t know what to do, she suddenly stopped abruptly.

Gradually, Gu Yiyun stared wide-eyed in disbelief at her own screen, completely overwhelmed with shock!
