Chapter 9: The Ultimate Move! That's it, breaking the speedrun record?Chapter 9: The Ultimate Move! That’s it, breaking the speedrun record?

Stealth, outflank, backstab!
-
927!

A massive burst of damage erupted from the rabbit leader’s head.

A health bar appeared above its head... In this world, monsters and professionals only have health bars when they are injured. And they don’t display specific values.

Enraged, the boss turned around and swung his club at Qin Xiaoyou.

Qin Xiaoyou shifted her feet, nimbly and swiftly dodging the stick.

He swung his knife again, this time piercing the boss’s hand.

This time, without skill enhancement, the damage was significantly lower.

But seeing that the boss’s health bar had visibly dropped by a small segment, Qin Xiaoyou visibly relaxed a lot.

Killable!

Instantly, Qin Xiaoyou seemed to transform into a shadow in the night, her movements fluid and agile, swift and deadly.

The boss roared in fury and smashed its weapons wildly.

But he couldn’t reach Qin Xiaoyou.

In fact, when the boss’s health had dropped to one-fifth, Qin Xiaoyou’s health bar hadn’t even lit up yet.

Just as the boss’s health dropped to one-fifth, it suddenly raised its head and roared, and a wave of sound rippled outwards. Qin Xiaoyou’s darting figure froze in place for a moment.

Qin Fang, who had been watching the show intently, narrowed his eyes slightly.

This is... a strong crowd control skill?
At the same time, the boss swung his club directly at Qin Xiaoyou’s head.

Qin Xiaoyou’s expression showed terror. She was clearly struggling violently, but her body was unable to move and she was trembling on the spot.

Just as Qin Xiaoyou was about to be hit, a dark shadow suddenly appeared behind the boss, and at the same time, a dazzling blade of light pierced through the air!
Vital attack!
-
5598!

An incredibly large golden damage spell soared into the air.

The boss’s health was instantly depleted.

The stick, raised high, slumped down limply.

He collapsed and died suddenly!

At the same time, numerous orbs of light exploded from its body...

The boss is dead.

Big bang!

Qin Fang appeared behind the boss with a sigh of relief, the dagger in his hand shattering into pieces with a ’clatter’...

”elder brother……”

Qin Xiaoyou’s voice, still shaken, rang out...

Clearly, although she was being controlled, she was still conscious.

Qin Fang nodded.

”Are you okay?”

Qin Xiaoyou’s complexion gradually returned to normal, and then she shook her head.

Qin Fang acted in time, and the boss didn’t have a chance to do any damage to her.

However, even if I were to get hit, it probably wouldn’t be a big problem.

After all, Qin Xiaoyou is an epic assassin with a constitution coefficient of 4, which is almost equivalent to the main attribute coefficient of an ordinary-level professional tank... she just doesn’t have defensive skills.

Her health and resistances are both quite high.

The bosses in normal dungeons are generally high in health but low in attack and defense. If you get hit, you’ll only lose a few dozen or a hundred points of health at most, and you can’t be instantly killed.

...Otherwise, how can ordinary professionals fight?
”It’s good that you’re alright. The boss is dead, let’s pick up the loot first.”

Upon hearing this, Qin Xiaoyou’s eyes lit up with excitement, and she immediately ran over to collect the orbs of light dropped by the boss.

Every now and then, her excited shouts could be heard.

...The most exciting part of fighting a boss is when it drops a critical hit, right?
She quickly picked up everything.

After taking stock, this boss dropped eighteen gold coins... My family’s assets skyrocketed!
In addition, there are several other pieces of equipment.

All of them are basic equipment.

Unfortunately, they are all for other professions, so although you can wear them, the attributes won’t take effect.

...Of course, even for assassins, if the level isn’t high enough, it probably won’t work.

But if these equipment were sold, they could probably generate a considerable income.

In addition, four more passes were also revealed.

Two of them are ordinary passes.

The other two have additional prefixes.

The full name is ’Rabbit Paradise - Difficult Pass’.

After packing her things and making sure nothing was left behind, Qin Xiaoyou looked at Qin Fang, still wanting more: ”Brother, shall we continue? This time... to the difficult ones?”

Qin Fang smiled and nodded: ”Okay.”

For them, the standard version was completely effortless.

……

The two immediately chose to exit the instance, returned to the instance entrance, and selected to enter again.

This time, we’re entering the difficult level.

The boss guarding the gate dropped two passes, one for each person, so we chose to enter directly.

The brother and sister seamlessly entered the ’Difficult Rabbit Paradise’.

……

The challenging Rabbit Paradise doesn’t look much different from the regular version.

However, the monsters inside were clearly much stronger.

Not only were they all shrouded in a thin layer of black mist, but their numbers also doubled with each wave, reaching six!
Their health has increased significantly. At levels 1-3, Qin Xiaoyou could kill them instantly. But after level 4, it would take two to three hits to take one down.

In other words, monsters of level 4 and above have over 1,000 HP and even higher defense.

Moreover, the monster’s attack frequency and desire were significantly stronger... During the fight, Qin Xiaoyou was accidentally hit by a carrot by a level 4 rabbit monster, which took away 45 of her health.

This was the first time her health bar had been displayed.

Keep in mind that her constitution coefficient is close to that of a typical tank class like a shield warrior. Even without defensive skills, losing 45 HP in one hit is still quite terrifying.

If it were any other squishy class, this one hit would probably kill them instantly.

After all, the average squishy class’s health at level 0 is probably only around 100.

Her dual resistance is definitely not as high as hers.

...Everyone says the difficulty of the dungeons has increased drastically, and I’ve truly witnessed it firsthand.

However, even so, it was still within Qin Fang and Qin Xiaoyou’s ability to cope.

Or rather... within the range of quick kills.

It’s just a matter of making one or two more cuts.

Compared to other professions who have to carefully maneuver and deploy various tactics when running dungeons, their speed is almost like a sweeping victory.

Level 3 monsters, level 5 monsters, level 7 monsters...

The two fought their way through.

Hard mode dungeons offer significantly more experience than normal dungeons. Even level 1 monsters can provide 40-50 experience points, and at level 5 and above, each monster can provide over 200 experience points. Before they knew it, the two were close to leveling up.

With less than a thousand experience points left to level up, they encountered the boss.

The boss of the difficult dungeon is still the same rabbit leader, wearing a mushroom hat, with a mouth full of serrated teeth, and a tall figure.

”I’ll do it this time.”

Qin Fang spoke up.

The bosses in the hard mode are significantly stronger than those in the normal mode, with billowing black mist emanating from their bodies, making them look like formidable opponents.

Its attributes in all aspects will definitely far surpass those of ordinary books.

”No, I’ll do it. You stay on the sidelines and support me! I want to test out my skills!”

But Qin Xiaoyou quickly refused, saying she wanted to test her skills...

Professional finishing move!

Actually, she had been itching to try it out for a while and wanted to see what this professional finishing move was all about.

However, she really had no desire to use skills on those small monsters... They were easy targets, one or two hits away. Using skills wouldn’t be enough to waste her energy.

The difficult boss is a good target.

After hearing Qin Xiaoyou say this, Qin Fang thought about it and agreed.

...He was also curious about just how powerful this professional finishing move really was.

Anyway, the description is quite fierce.

”Then be careful.”

Seeing that Qin Fang agreed, Qin Xiaoyou was immediately overjoyed. She nodded repeatedly, took a deep breath, and crept over.

soon……

Pfft!

A dazzling flash of light appeared.
-
648!

The damage value surged from the rabbit leader’s head, its health bar lit up, and jumped by a small increment.

It’s obvious that both its health and defense are much higher than those of a normal dungeon.

Enraged, the boss brandished his club and furiously hurled it at Qin Xiaoyou.

...The attack frequency is clearly higher than that of the rabbit leader in the normal dungeon.

However, Qin Xiaoyou was highly focused, and her speed was clearly a notch faster.

Then, Qin Xiaoyou was seen nimbly dashing around the 4-meter-tall boss, frantically swinging her dagger.

Swift, and deadly!
*Pfft, pfft...*

……

One by one, red damage numbers flashed.

The boss’s health began to steadily decline, and Qin Xiaoyou’s health bar never lit up throughout the entire process.

Three minutes passed quickly, and the boss’s health dropped to one-fifth.

The rabbit leader suddenly let out a distant roar, and a wave of sound instantly swept across the area...

Strong crowd control skill!
Qin Fang’s eyes narrowed, and he prepared himself.

But at that moment, Qin Xiaoyou suddenly stood with her knife in hand. A dark shadow suddenly surged around her, and the next moment, she charged towards the rabbit leader.

With this charge, her figure seemed to vanish into the void, as if she had truly become a shadow in the void.

Instantly, a void slash over twenty meters long appeared out of thin air...

It’s obvious that they used ’Shadow Void Slash’!
The shockwave immediately swept in all directions, but it had no effect on Qin Xiaoyou.

As the Void Slash struck the rabbit leader, a damage indicator immediately appeared above its head.
-
517!

The next instant, another void slash came out vertically and diagonally.
-
568!

The rabbit leader stood there, somewhat bewildered.

Immediately afterwards, a third void slash appeared...
-
624!

Then comes the fourth one!
673!

fifth way...
-
723!

After the five strikes, Qin Xiaoyou appeared from the void and landed behind the boss.

Then, a blood-red number suddenly jumped up.
-
1552!

The final burst of total damage occurred.

However, this burst of power was clearly not enough to kill the boss outright.

but……

When the damage exploded, two huge blood-red characters appeared above the boss’s head.
-
Slay them!

The boss, who still had nearly one-seventh of its health remaining after five slashes, was instantly wiped out!

boom! ! !
The boss crashed to the ground, and a huge burst of light exploded from behind Qin Xiaoyou!

Qin Fang’s eyes narrowed... The killing effect has been triggered!
……

”Brother, that Void Slash is amazing!”

Qin Xiaoyou shouted excitedly.

Qin Fang nodded in amazement...

This Void Slash is indeed terrifyingly powerful.

During the attack, the target cannot be selected, meaning that no matter what boss you are facing, the opponent can only be attacked.

The damage is explosive, with five strikes, each one stacking with damage.

Finally, there’s a total damage explosion.

Especially its finishing effect... is truly astonishing.

This is only level 1 Void Slash.

Once my skill level increases... there will definitely be a huge improvement!
Qin Fang was about to say something when suddenly a ding-dong sound rang out, and he and Qin Xiaoyou were both visibly startled.

Then, the two of them stared intently at their respective control panels.

That’s when I noticed a notification on the panel...

[Congratulations! Your team has broken the speedrun record for the ’Rabbit Paradise - Hard’ dungeon. Rewards include +1000 experience points, +1000 gold, and one Tier 0 equipment blind box (Fine). Your speedrun record will also be recorded for future generations to admire.]

Please decide on your team name. And whether you want to disclose your personal information such as name, class, and level?

The prompt on the panel left both of them stunned for a moment.

Then they looked at each other in bewilderment...

This……

Before they entered the classroom, they never thought about breaking any records.

Now, he’s playing it almost like a game, and he’s actually broken the speedrun record?
...Is it really that frivolous?
”Brother, what... what do we do?”

Qin Xiaoyou was stunned for a moment, and subconsciously asked Qin Fang.

Qin Fang was about to answer when he suddenly realized...

Other text prompts appeared on his panel...
