Mythical Professions are all my employees

Chapter 13: Not for the Steamed Bun, But for the Pride: The Boss and Xiao!Chapter 13: Not for the Steamed Bun, But for the Pride: The Boss and Xiao!

”elder brother?”

Qin Xiaoyou spoke in a low voice.

Qin Fang nodded in understanding and said softly, ”Let’s talk about it inside.”

Having decided to conceal his identity, Qin Fang naturally wouldn’t choose to self-destruct.

Having an invincible aura is one thing... but to be killed before you’ve even fully developed, all for the sake of saving face, that’s truly ridiculous.

Qin Xiaoyou nodded, then couldn’t help but look towards the spot where the two sides were arguing. Seeing the centaur professionals confidently claiming that she and her brother were centaurs made Qin Xiaoyou pout, quite displeased.

However, she knew the importance of the matter and did not reveal her identity.

The brother and sister walked to the entrance of the dungeon again, where there were suddenly many people, and chose to enter the dungeon.

During this process, they saw the dungeon gate... and then they immediately understood why this dispute had occurred.

The notice is still there.

Next to that line of text was something called a ’Speedrun Leaderboard’.

Qin Fang had a sudden thought, and with a flick of his mind, his panel automatically unfolded, displaying a ranking list.

[Rabbit Paradise Speedrun Leaderboard]

[Rabbit Paradise - Normal. Speedrun record holder: Holy Light Canyon Knights! Team members: Brutta, Barto, Sivi, Quest, Rulf. Completion time: 5 minutes 17.31 seconds!]

[Rabbit Paradise - Hard. Speedrun record holder: Paradise! Team members: Boss, Xiao. Completion time: 12 minutes 17.37 seconds!]

[Rabbit Paradise - Hell. Speedrun record holder: Holy Light Canyon Knights! Team members: Brutta, Barto, Vera, Kuster, Rulf. Completion time: 1 hour 27 minutes 31.25 seconds!]

【Rabbit Paradise - Abyss. No completion record yet.】

……

Of the four difficulty levels, only the Abyss has not yet been cleared... the other three have been cleared.

He and Xiaoyou held the record for the most difficult part.

The normal and hell dungeons are occupied by a group called the ’Holy Light Canyon Knights’.

And just by looking at their names, you can tell they’re not from the Xia Kingdom...

They are centaurs.

Judging from the current situation, it is very likely that the previous difficult level was also occupied by this so-called ’Holy Light Canyon Knights’, but now it has been broken by him and Xiaoyou.

To be honest, this thing isn’t very useful in practice.

That is, you were rewarded with some gold coins and experience points...

The rewards are not particularly scarce.

However, the significance it represents is clearly considerable!
...All three records are from the centaur race.

How can the humans, who are the landowners, bear this?
As the saying goes, ”I’d rather not steam buns than lose face!”

No wonder so many human professionals are now united in their hatred of the enemy.

Qin Fang pondered for a moment, then suddenly whispered to Qin Xiaoyou, ”Let’s wait for the Hell difficulty and start with the Normal difficulty.”

They still had ordinary passes in their hands...

Qin Xiaoyou was stunned for a moment, but then her eyes lit up.

”Brother, what are you going to do...”

Seeing Qin Xiaoyou’s expectant expression, Qin Fang smiled and made a shushing gesture.

Qin Xiaoyou immediately got excited, her face turned red, she didn’t say anything, but nodded her head non-stop.

Qin Fang didn’t waste any words and chose to enter the regular version.

brush!
The two figures disappeared.

When someone suddenly entered the room, no one paid any attention; everyone was focused on the argument.

When they reappeared, the brother and sister were already in the familiar Rabbit Paradise regular dungeon.

”Bro, are we trying to break the speedrun record for the normal dungeon?”

Qin Xiaoyou finally asked the question, her eyes shining.

”They can’t tell if they’re human or centaurs, right? Let them know.”

Qin Fang smiled, his eyes narrowing.

On the one hand, he had overheard the argument earlier, and he found the centaurs’ confident demeanor somewhat distasteful.

Am I a centaur?

On the other hand...

This is for the sake of the company’s reputation.

...He hadn’t forgotten the skill description.

’Whenever you or your employees perform an amazing feat, or clear a dungeon or secret realm, you will gain corporate reputation.’

Setting a speedrun record should be considered an ’amazing feat’, right?

Especially in a situation where humanity is generally suppressed by other races...

Having thought this through, Qin Fang no longer hesitated and smiled, ”You know what to do, right?”

”Don’t worry, I can break their record all by myself!”

Qin Xiaoyou rubbed her hands together, very excited.

...Before the upgrade, she felt she could break that record, but she didn’t think about it at the time, so she wasted a lot of time picking up items.

Now that she’s upgraded, her attack power has exceeded 1,000. Is it still a problem for her to deliberately try to break records?

”set off!”

So, at Qin Fang’s command, the two began speedrunning the normal difficulty level of Rabbit Paradise...

Both of them were incredibly fast and incredibly powerful. They decided to speedrun, and they truly did.

The two set off simultaneously, their figures moving like lightning, and in an instant they arrived in front of the white rabbit.

Before the three white rabbits could react, three slashes flashed by.
-
1357!
-
2471!
-
2019!

The three rabbits’ health bars had barely appeared when they were instantly emptied... a complete health bar disappearance spell. Before their corpses even hit the ground, two figures had vanished, completely ignoring the ball of light bursting from one of the rabbits.

Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5...

One cut and a little bunny.

Rabbit Paradise is quite large.

However, the two were too fast, almost like a raging storm.

Just over a minute later, they saw the boss leader.

They rushed toward the leader as soon as they saw him.

Startled, the leader picked up the carrot stick and let out a long howl.

puff! puff! puff! puff! …
-
2417!
-
1349!
-
2024!
-
1037!

Health points plummeted.

In the blink of an eye, we’ve reached one-fifth of the way!
...The boss’s ’cutscene’ isn’t even finished yet!
The rabbit was completely bewildered.

When he was down to one-fifth of his health, he came to his senses and wanted to use his crowd control skills.

result……

puff!
A dazzling flash of light.

Vital attack!
-
5039!

An eye-popping injury occurred.

The boss is dead!

……

[Congratulations! Your team has broken the speedrun record for the ’Rabbit Paradise - Normal’ dungeon. You are rewarded with 500 experience points and 500 gold. Your speedrun record will also be recorded for future generations to admire.]

Please decide on your team name. And whether you want to disclose your personal information such as name, class, and level?

……

A prompt appears on the panel.

Qin Fang and Qin Xiaoyou both smiled.

It worked!
And then look at the completion time...

2 minutes 18 seconds 24!

The average time has been reduced from 4 minutes to just over 2 minutes.

This is almost the limit.

After all, the dungeon area is quite large, and two minutes is almost the time it takes to run there and fight the boss.

”elder brother?”

Qin Xiaoyou looked at Qin Fang expectantly.

Qin Fang smiled and nodded, then squinted and began operating the control panel...

……

at the same time.

Outside the copy.

”Tch, it’s just a name, why can’t I call myself that? You said it’s human, where is the human? It’s been so long, shouldn’t we be out of the instance by now? Why is no one responding?”

The centaur taunted, ”I’ve seen it all now. Humans are truly a shameless race. Your race is just no good. A bunch of trash classes, and a whole bunch of garbage who can’t even awaken their classes... Just accept the fact that your race is trash.”

”Bullshit! No one from us showed up, but what about you? You claim to be the centaurs who cleared the pass, so why haven’t any of your centaurs come out to confirm it?”

The centaur’s mockery escalated to a racial level, infuriating the surrounding human professionals, with some even resorting to profanity.

“Our people are different from you. Breaking speedrun records is just a trivial matter for us. We don’t show off like you humans do. It’s no wonder no one is showing up. It’s just disdain.”

The centaur casually shook his finger.

”you@#%@#&……”

The argument escalated.

Many human professionals were already blushing, and some were even considering ’physical persuasion’.

And at this time.

”Another record has been broken!”

Someone exclaimed.

The argument paused for a moment, and they subconsciously looked up.

Sure enough, a white light appeared, and another line of text appeared on the dungeon door.

[Speedrun record for Normal Rabbit Paradise broken: New record, 2 minutes 18.24 seconds!]

Upon seeing the text above, someone exclaimed, ”It’s a regular edition!”

”A normal record is over 4 minutes, which is already the limit, right? How can a team get under 3 minutes?!”

”what’s the situation?”

”Who broke it? Who broke it?”

They quickly looked at the text below.

At first, it displayed the message ”The customs clearance team is entering data”.

But after only ten seconds, the text appeared.

[Clearing Team: Paradise. Clearing Members: Boss (Human), Xiao (Human)]

When this line of text appeared, the room fell silent.

then……

Boom.

The entrance to the instance was completely in an uproar!
