”Brother, are we... really not going all out today?”

”Yes, didn’t we talk about that yesterday?”

”Oh... well, aren’t we going to check out Rabbit Town?”

”No, I’ll just go and find out some information later.”

The next morning, Qin Xiaoyou and Qin Fang were having rabbit meat breakfast when Qin Fang looked up at Qin Xiaoyou, who seemed lost in thought. He smiled and ruffled her hair, saying, ”Alright, don’t look so preoccupied. Just do what you need to do. The sky isn’t falling. Didn’t you say you were going to visit the orphanage today? Say hello to the director for me.”

Hearing Qin Fang’s words, Qin Xiaoyou breathed a sigh of relief and then nodded: ”Okay.”

The two quickly finished breakfast, and after Qin Xiaoyou tidied up, she said to Qin Fang, ”Brother, I’m going out now.”

”Okay, go ahead, be careful.”

”Ah.”

After Qin Xiaoyou finished speaking, she left the house. Qin Fang went back to his room to tidy up, and then he also went out.

After passing through the shantytown, Qin Fang headed straight for the city hall.

...He didn’t know what happened yesterday, so he naturally had to check on it now.

The city hall in Iron Teeth City was peaceful. Qin Fang looked out at the office building from a distance and saw many people coming and going.

The expressions on these people’s faces all looked somewhat solemn.

After taking a closer look, Qin Fang breathed a slight sigh of relief... He saw some familiar faces.

They are the human professionals who appeared in yesterday’s war against the centaurs.

Clearly, the war has temporarily ended.

After thinking for a moment, Qin Fang turned around and headed towards the station this time.

He quickly found the vehicle leading to Rabbit Town.

But at that moment, the vehicle had a ”Temporarily Closed” sign on it, and no one was getting on or off.

Qin Fang frowned.

Yesterday’s battle almost destroyed Rabbit Town... but the dungeon is still accessible.

But today even the buses to Rabbit Town have stopped running.

It seems there’s more to come.

Just then, a sound came from the car next to them.

”...I saw those two make their move myself! It was terrifying. They were only level 0, yet they instantly killed at least forty or fifty level 2 to 3 centaur professionals!...We initially thought they were high-level professionals from Iron Fang City, but later we heard from others that they were those two from Paradise!”

”Epic-level professionals... I never expected to see two of them appear in Ironfang City. And both of them are epic-level assassins?”

”Boss, Xiao... is it a man and a woman?”

On the bus, they overheard people discussing him and Qin Xiaoyou.

Qin Fang was startled and subconsciously turned his head to look at the car next to him. There were wiring markings on the car body.

They were heading towards ’Mount of the Dead’.

The Undead Mountain instance is also one of the nearby Tier 0 instances.

Is this a Rank 0 professional who participated in yesterday’s events heading to the Undead Mountain dungeon?

Qin Fang thought to himself.

”So what’s the situation on Rabbit’s side now? How long will the blockade last?”

Someone on the bus was asking questions.

”I don’t know. Last night was very dangerous. After we escaped, the centaurs were still chasing us... Many people were caught.”

”Fortunately, the official professionals from ’Lingtai City’ arrived at the critical moment and stopped those centaurs... otherwise, many people would probably have died.”

The man spoke with lingering fear.

”Have the officials in Lingtai City also been alerted?”

someone exclaimed.

”Yes, several hundred people came... We guessed that as soon as the information from the boss and Xiao came out, our city officials notified the Lingtai City officials to guard against the centaurs causing trouble... As it turns out, it really helped a lot.”

”After that, the fighting in Rabbit Town went on for a long time. I heard that the centaurs were still reinforcing their troops in the middle of the night... but we had more people on our side, and the centaurs couldn’t break through after a long siege, so they reluctantly retreated in the end.”

The man’s voice grew serious as he continued, ”But before they left, these centaurs said they wouldn’t let this go so easily...”

As soon as he finished speaking, a girl’s dazed voice rang out: ”No wonder the authorities issued a notice today, asking the teachers to tell us to try to avoid conflict with the centaurs recently...”

There was a flurry of discussion on the bus. Qin Fang, however, had already quietly left.

Unexpectedly, yesterday’s incident caused such a big stir that even officials from the neighboring city were alarmed.

This made him realize... that he had probably underestimated the importance of epic-level professionals.

As a key party involved, he was deeply moved by the official actions.

Just thinking about what the person in the car had said at the beginning made his eyes flicker.

The other party immediately mentioned him and Qin Xiaoyou, and even said that it was the two of them who killed the centaur tribesmen who were intercepting the level 0 human professionals.

But yesterday, he only revealed his identity to Yu Qianqiu and the other professionals... He didn’t interact with the level 0 professionals at all.

But now those level 0 professionals already know that it was him and Qin Xiaoyou who made the move.

This is quite intriguing.

It’s unlikely that Yu Qianqiu’s story will come out.

That means it can only be those official professionals around her.

Thinking of this, Qin Fang let out a soft breath.

...No wonder both Shen Changyuan and Yu Qianqiu made it clear that he should not reveal his identity, or even contact them.

The official water was even more murky than he had imagined.

The good news is that, at least on the surface, those people don’t dare to do anything.

The presence of two epic-level professionals alarmed the officials of both cities, who personally intervened and risked their lives to protect them...

Qin Fang gently exhaled a breath of stale air.

He changed direction and headed into the city.

The centaur threat has been temporarily contained by the authorities, and there shouldn’t be any further trouble in the short term.

Then he’ll have to put in a lot of effort.

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

As a level 0 person, I was timid and hesitant.

But later...

snort!
……

Xingyun Building, No. 79 Xiaxing Road.

Half an hour later, Qin Fang stood in front of a building and looked up.

This is where Gu Yiyun, the potential second employee, lives.

Unit 1, Room 1002.

Gu Yiyun was also in Rabbit Town yesterday; I wonder if she got into any trouble.

Later, Qin Fang even made a special effort to search for her... but there were too many people, and he couldn’t find her.

...The pursuit by the centaurs yesterday also killed many Rank 0 professionals.

I hope she’s alright.

Qin Fang thought to himself.

The next thing Qin Fang needed to do was to find out if she was home.

This is not difficult.

The difficulty lies in hiding oneself.

...What happened yesterday made Qin Fang realize even more that he still had to play it safe for now.

Although Gu Yiyun has potential and her life story is generally acceptable, she is unlikely to betray herself.

But who can say for sure about this?
At least for now, Qin Fang doesn’t trust anyone except Qin Xiaoyou.

Fortunately, Qin Fang already had some ideas.

Let’s adapt to the situation as it unfolds.

Then he turned and left.
