Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

49: Chapter 49 Financial Harvesting and Huge Profits, Supercar LivestreamOn the top floor of the Tianxing Technology headquarters, in the hidden trading office, the usual rhythmic tapping of keyboards was replaced by a suppressed cheer.

On twelve computer screens, the usd exchange rate curve soared, the red upward trend particularly eye-catching.

Zhao Yuan said excitedly:

”President Chen! It’s done! The Yen has completely collapsed! The usd has dropped to 77!”

Chen Mo leaned back on the sofa, his fingers resting casually on the armrest. His eyes swept across the screen, his tone remaining flat:

”Mhm, close the positions.”

”Understood!”

Zhao Yuan quickly tapped on the keyboard.

”Closing positions in batches now. Our shorting cost was 96, and the closing price is 77. This wave on the Yen alone has maxed out our profits!”

The analyst responsible for calculating profits, Li Feng, stared at the jumping numbers on the screen and then said:

”President Chen! With a 300 million usd principal and 50x leverage, after deducting transaction fees, the net profit is 1.28 billion usd! That’s equivalent to 7.927 billion RMB!”

Risk control officer Zhang Lei’s face was full of admiration:

”President Chen, you’re amazing! You closed the positions exactly at the peak of the Yen’s depreciation. Japan’s Central Bank didn’t even have a chance to counterattack!”

Chen Mo nodded slightly, a faint smile playing at the corners of his mouth:

”This is just the beginning. Over in Cyprus, the news should be leaking soon.”

A few days later, Zhao Yuan received an urgent news flash.

”Cyprus Reaches Agreement with Eurogroup, Proposes 9.9% Tax on Deposits over 100,000 euros.”

”It’s here! President Chen! The news is confirmed!”

Zhao Yuan’s eyes lit up, and he immediately reported that he was ready for operations.

”The euro has already started to dive. Cypriot bank stocks have collapsed, more than cutting in half!”

”Do it.”

Chen Mo tilted his chin up, his tone steady.

”As we discussed, 50 million usd principal, 20x leverage. Short EUR/USD and short Cypriot bank stocks. In and out quickly, don’t be greedy.”

”Received!”

The dense sound of keyboard tapping rang out again in the office. Everyone was focused, and some even had fine sweat on their foreheads.

This was short-term arbitrage where every second counted. A single second’s delay could mean missing the optimal time to close positions.

In just one hour, Zhao Yuan stopped his movements and let out a long sigh of relief, his tone full of excitement:

”President Chen, positions closed! In this Cyprus wave, the net profit is 230 million usd, equivalent to 1.424 billion RMB! Adding the Yen profits, these two waves have earned a total of 1.51 billion usd, equivalent to 9.351 billion RMB!”

The twelve people looked at each other, all showing expressions of disbelief.

They were veterans of Wall Street and the financial circle, having seen countless large transactions. But no one had ever been able to use a 500 million usd principal to rake in 1.5 billion usd in just over a month through two precisely planned moves—all while maintaining low risk throughout, without even a single minor loss.

Zhao Yuan couldn’t help but speak:

”President Chen, your vision is incredible! You even calculated the timing of the Cyprus crisis and the level of market panic without a single error. Without you, we wouldn’t have dared to operate so boldly.”

”It’s not that I’m a god, it’s that your execution is strong enough.”

Chen Mo stood up and stretched, saying in a lazy tone:

”Consolidate the funds as soon as possible and split them up. Keep 9.3 billion for the next operation, and the remaining 51 million is for you all to split. Keep a close eye on gold.”

”Yes! President Chen! Thank you, President Chen!” everyone cheered in unison.

Chen Mo walked out of the hidden office and had just taken out his phone when he received a call from his father, Chen Changlin.

The tone on the other end carried a bit of pride and a bit of a complaint:

”You brat, the supercar you asked us to build is finished! There are three prototype cars in total, and their performance is even better than you described. Hurry back and take a look!”

Chen Mo’s eyes lit up, and his hands immediately started to itch.

When he originally asked Chen Changlin to renovate the production lines to build bicycles, he had also quietly instructed him to simultaneously develop supercars. One reason was to pave the way for his future plans for electric vehicles, and the other was that he personally loved speed and passion.

”Dad, I’m heading over now.”

Chen Mo hung up the phone and immediately drove straight to the Tianxing Technology Industrial Base in his hometown.

In the automotive production workshop of the industrial base, three black supercars with sleek lines and cool designs were parked quietly. The car bodies reflected light with a high-quality texture, exuding an air of dominance from a distance.

Chen Changlin came to meet him, pointing at the supercars and saying proudly:

”Look, this is the tianxing supercar generation i we built. The engine, chassis, and body materials were all developed by us. We used the t1100 grade carbon fiber you mass-produced earlier—it’s lightweight and strong, with performance better than those top foreign supercars!”

Chen Mo walked to a supercar and reached out to touch the body. The cold sensation came through, and his craving was completely triggered:

”Not bad, Dad. Your craftsmanship is good.”

”Of course!”

Chen Changlin looked proud.

”We’ve tested it; the top speed can reach over 400 kilometers per hour, but no one dares to drive that fast. If your hands are itching, you should go to the Modu Racetrack to try it out. While you’re at it, do some promotion so everyone knows that our Dragon Country can also build top-tier supercars!”

”Exactly what I was thinking.”

Chen Mo smiled, pulled open the car door, and sat inside to familiarize himself with the controls.

”I’ll head back to Shanghai now. Tomorrow I’ll go to the circuit and livestream the whole thing. It’ll be a good advertisement for our supercar.”

Chen Changlin’s eyes lit up:

”Great idea! I’ll notify the company to start a Tianxing Live broadcast so everyone can see our strength!”

The next day, Chen Mo drove the tianxing supercar generation i and arrived at the Modu Racetrack.

At this time, Tianxing Live had already started simultaneously. Countless netizens saw Chen Mo driving a black supercar they had never seen before, and the screen instantly exploded with comments:

”Holy crap! What car is President Chen driving? It’s so cool!”

”I’ve never seen it before. Could it be a new supercar built by President Chen?”

”It must be! I heard before that Tianxing Technology was building cars, but I didn’t expect it to come out so quickly!”

”Looking forward to President Chen’s run! Let’s see how awesome our Dragon Country’s own supercar is!”

Chen Mo adjusted the livestream equipment, smiled at the camera, and said in a relaxed tone:

”Hey everyone, today we’re not talking about anything else. My hands are just itching, so I’m driving the supercar we built at Tianxing Technology for a few laps at the Modu Racetrack. I’ll show you all just how powerful our Dragon Country’s independently developed top-tier supercar is!”

After saying that, he shifted gears and stepped on the accelerator. The engine emitted a low yet violent roar, and the tianxing supercar generation i shot out like an arrow from a bow.

The Modu Racetrack is over 5,000 meters long. Chen Mo didn’t hold back at all, keeping the accelerator floored the entire way. The supercar sped across the track, leaving trails of afterimages, with nothing but the sound of the wind and the roar of the engine in his ears.

The livestream camera followed the whole time, clearly capturing the speedometer on the track and Chen Mo’s calm expression. The netizens instantly went wild:

”Holy crap! So fast! The speedometer is about to burst!”

”My god! This speed must be at least 380 kilometers per hour, right?”

”So cool! It’s even more fierce than those foreign Bugatti and Ferrari cars!”

”So our Dragon Country can actually build such an amazing supercar! President Chen is the best!”

”Tianxing Technology is awesome! We don’t have to look at the faces of foreign supercar makers anymore!”

After finishing the first lap, Chen Mo glanced at the timer, curled his lips slightly, and said to the camera:

”First lap, 1 minute 20 seconds. I haven’t even given it my all yet. Let’s do another lap.”

After saying that, he shot out again. This time, he completely let loose. The supercar’s performance was pushed to the limit. The curves on the track were like flat ground in his hands as he drifted through them with ease, without any hesitation.

Second lap, 1 minute 17 seconds!

Third lap, 1 minute 09 seconds!

Fourth lap, 1 minute 03 seconds!

Fifth lap, he broke into the one-minute mark—56 seconds!

When this result came out, the livestream chat was instantly flooded, densely packed with amazement and cheers:

”56 seconds! My god! What kind of god-like speed is this!”

”The Modu Racetrack is over 5,000 meters long, and he finished it in 56 seconds? This is too ridiculous!”

”This performance crushes all top-tier supercars! President Chen is too good at building things!”

”I just want to know when this supercar will be on sale now. I’ll buy it no matter how much it costs!”

”Same here! Even if I have to sell everything I own, I’ll buy one to support a domestic supercar!”

Chen Mo ran a total of eight laps, with his fastest single-lap time stopping at 56 seconds. There were no mistakes throughout the entire run, and the supercar’s stability and performance were demonstrated to the fullest.

After finishing the last lap, he slowly stopped the car and said to the camera in a composed tone:

”Everyone, that’s it for today. The tianxing supercar generation i is entirely independently developed and uses our own t1100 grade carbon fiber. You’ve seen its performance. It will be officially released later, so please stay tuned.”

Before the livestream even ended:

#President Chen Livestreaming Supercar is So Cool#

These two hashtags shot straight to the top of the Weibo trending list, with views instantly surpassing 1 billion.

Meanwhile, those top foreign supercar manufacturers were completely dumbfounded after seeing the livestream footage and results.

At Bugatti headquarters, executives stared at the screen, their faces pale:

”How is it possible? Dragon Country can actually build such a powerful supercar? Finishing a 5,000-plus meter track in 56 seconds—even our cars can’t do that!”

A Koenigsegg executive looked desperate:

”It’s over. If the Tianxing Supercar is officially released, our market in Dragon Country will be completely gone!”

Executives from Pagani, McLaren, and Ferrari were also all frowning:

The performance and prestige they were so proud of were suddenly worth nothing in front of the Tianxing Supercar.
