Rebirth: Starting with 10 Billion Us Dollars

36: Chapter 36 Chen Mo’s Identity RevealedNetizens across the entire internet went crazy searching for information on the boss of Tianxing Technology. In the next second, the search page directly displayed clear data, instantly causing an uproar:

”Chen Mo, male, 22 years old, graduated from a prestigious university with a computer science degree. Founded Tianxing Technology in 2011. Business covers chips, mobile phones, communications, food delivery, gaming, live streaming, online literature...”

”22 years old?! At this age, I’m still relying on my parents, and this person has already built a tech empire?”

”Is this information real? CEO Chen is actually so young, and he looks so handsome in the photo!”

”People in the internet circle already knew about CEO Chen, but no one dared to say anything. Now it’s finally exposed!”

”No wonder he can go head-to-head with Apple. To have this ability at this age is simply heaven-defying!”

The female netizens were completely smitten, and the comments section was filled with screams:

”Ahhh, Chen Mo’s looks are even better than top-tier celebrities!”

”Young, rich, and handsome—this is what a true domineering CEO looks like!”

”I announce that Chen Mo is my new ultimate male god, my one and only fan for life!”

Before long, Chen Mo’s past experiences were also dug up completely by netizens, and every detail made people’s jaws drop:

”Confirmed: He started from scratch! He worked part-time while studying in college and always ranked first. He’s the ceiling for academic achievers!”

”Turning 5,000 yuan from part-time work into 10 billion US dollars through foreign exchange trading in two months? Is he the reincarnation of the God of Stocks?”

”The most incredible thing is that according to the exposed data, he went to the foreign exchange market one more time and raked in another 5 billion US dollars!”

”Is he treating the foreign exchange market like an ATM?!”

”Coach, I want to learn foreign exchange trading too!”

”Stop dreaming. He’s making money; you’d just be throwing lives away. The risks in foreign exchange could wipe out your entire family fortune!”

When the news reached the international internet, foreign netizens were also stunned, frantically flooding the screens:

”OMG! Making 15 billion US dollars at 22? Did God give him a cheat code?!”

”This is a true business genius. I will be his fan for life!”

”Is he single? I want to fly to Long Country to have his children!”

Just as everyone was doubting the authenticity of the data, Citibank directly issued a statement confirming that Chen Mo’s foreign exchange transaction records were real and valid, incidentally boosting its own visibility.

This left the media and netizens worldwide dumbfounded. Apple’s lawyers’ claim that ”Tianxing manipulated the network to hide the boss’s information” instantly became a joke.

But no one expected that the Supreme Court of America would completely disregard this solid proof and insist on accepting Apple’s ”evidence,” ruling that Tianxing Technology had ”motive and capability for crime” and demanding cooperation with the investigation, or else Tianxing products would be banned from overseas sales.

When Chen Mo saw the verdict, the corner of his mouth merely curved slightly. He then turned around and posted an announcement on the official Tianxing Technology website. Once translated and posted online, it left foreign netizens stunned:

”Tianxing Technology is willing to accept the judgment of the American court. Effective immediately, all Tianxing products will only be sold in Long Country. They want me to sell overseas? Heh!”

”So arrogant! This is directly confronting America!”

”Tianxing never targeted the overseas market anyway, so this verdict is nothing more than a scrap of paper!”

”I admire Chen Mo’s courage!”

No one knew that Chen Mo had anticipated Apple’s move long ago. He had already used artificial intelligence to map out their plan. Instead of being targeted over ”hacking technology,” it was better to proactively expose his identity.

As for the American verdict, he didn’t take it to heart at all.

Tianxing’s technology was entirely self-developed and self-produced, covering chips, systems, and components in an integrated chain. American sanctions couldn’t even scratch the surface for him.

Chen Mo had been genuinely busy recently, but he wasn’t busy with the mess involving Apple and America; those were just minor skirmishes in his eyes.

His focus now was entirely on the internal affairs of Tianxing Technology and the people around him.

Among Tianxing’s executives, Wu Dongju and Wu Xue were relatively well-behaved. Wu Xue was content managing Fetion; however, Wu Dongju’s ambition grew larger, and the Wu Family behind her was stirring, always trying to carve out a piece of Tianxing.

Chen Mo thought he needed to find an opportunity to give them a good warning, making them clearly remember:

Tianxing Technology—he, Chen Mo, was the sole boss, and in the future, it would only be passed down to his own children. No one else should even think about it!

As for Yang Mi, Bai Fengjiu, and Xiao Xue, the three girls from the entertainment industry, they weren’t trying to interfere with company management, but rather were all determined to become the spokespersons for the tianxing generation mobile phone.

During this period, the three of them tried every way to please Chen Mo, treating him like an emperor. Even his visits to Nalan Ruoshui decreased.

After much consideration, Chen Mo finally gave the spokesperson role to Xiao Xue.

Yang Mi was the spokesperson for Fetion, and Bai Fengjiu was the e-sports goddess for League of Heroes. Both already had exclusive resources. Only Xiao Xue, besides the set of houses previously gifted, hadn’t received any substantial benefits from him. That house was far inferior compared to the duplex villas in Tomson Riviera belonging to Yang Mi and Bai Fengjiu.

Moreover, Xiao Xue’s performance during this period had truly satisfied him greatly.

Just as the spokesperson decision was finalized, the office phone rang. It was a director from the Shanghai government office, speaking politely:

”CEO Chen, we’d like to invite you to a promotion meeting. Alibaba, Tencent, Baidu, and some capital firms want to chat with you.”

Chen Mo immediately let out a cold laugh upon hearing this:

”A promotion meeting? We just talked last time. Didn’t you say you were going to fight me to the death?”

Last time, the Shanghai government intervened, inviting him to dine with the tycoons of Alibaba, Tencent, and Baidu, along with a host of capital investors. He went to give the government face, but ended up falling out with those capital investors on the spot. Those people threatened to join forces to crush Tianxing, and he openly stated he would make them all bankrupt.

The director stammered:

”CEO Chen, times have changed. This time, everyone genuinely wants a reconciliation.”

”Reconciliation?”

Chen Mo’s tone turned cold.

”When they joined forces against me back then, why didn’t they think about reconciliation?”

After hanging up the phone, Chen Mo felt no ripples in his heart.

Over two months had passed, and Tianxing Technology hadn’t been crushed. Instead, it launched the tianxing generation phone, selling nearly 4 million units, with mobile phone profits alone exceeding 20 billion. If it sold at Apple’s scale of 30 million units, the net profit could reach nearly 160 billion!

Not to mention that Tianxing also possessed 20nm chip technology, which was hard power valued even by the nation. How would those capital investors dare to challenge him now?

Their seeking peace was simply out of fear.

The tianxing generation was selling so well now. If it monopolized the high-end mobile phone market in Long Country in the future, and their apps couldn’t run on Tianxing phones, that would truly be a dead end.

For these profit-driven capitalists, as long as there was money to be made, face meant nothing.

But Chen Mo was never a soft-hearted person. He said he would make them bankrupt, and he would certainly follow through. Asking for peace? Not a chance!

When Alibaba, Tencent, and the capital investors learned of Chen Mo’s attitude, they panicked instantly but refused to sit still. They gathered overnight to discuss countermeasures and finally made a difficult decision through gritted teeth:

Abandon Ele.me. Alibaba and Tencent would jointly invest in Meituan, forcing Meituan and Ele.me to merge completely!

Previously, Alibaba had only invested in Ele.me, not acquiring it with tens of billions as in the previous life. Abandoning it now wouldn’t result in huge losses. Without Alibaba’s funds, Ele.me would eventually collapse, and the vacated market could be taken over by Meituan.

It was just a pity for the boss of Ele.me; in the previous life, he could sell for tens of billions, but in this life, he could only watch helplessly as his company withered.

Immediately after, Alibaba and Tencent released another bombshell piece of news:

They were joining forces to enter the mobile phone industry!

As soon as the news broke, the entire internet was briefly shocked, but the discussion quickly died down.

After all, everyone had just watched the great drama of Tianxing going head-to-head with Apple; their standards had been raised, and this little commotion wasn’t a big deal.

The netizens were uniformly pessimistic:

”Is the mobile phone industry that easy to enter? Money isn’t enough; you need technology!”

”Huawei has money and technology, yet they can only make low-end phones. Alibaba and Tencent have no technology—they think they can compete with Tianxing in the high-end market? Wishful thinking!”

”Making low-end phones only earns meager returns. Given the nature of Alibaba and Tencent, how long can they persist?”

No one knew that Alibaba and Tencent were also in a dilemma.

They had already poured over 10 billion into the food delivery sector. 10 billion in 2012 was no small sum, and withdrawing now was something they were utterly unwilling to do. Entering the mobile phone industry was merely a way to avoid being controlled by Tianxing in the future, to at least have their own products instead of having their necks held.

As for Baidu, it had long lost the confidence to participate.

After burning 2 billion in the food delivery sector without making a ripple, and with its own search engine being suppressed by Tianxing Search to the point of suffocation, its profitability was the lowest among the BAT companies. Now, it was struggling to manage itself. Even if it wanted to play along with Alibaba and Tencent, they wouldn’t take it along, so it could only retreat shamefacedly from the food delivery market.

Time flew, and it was already October.

Chen Mo drew a Grandmaster-level Dance Skill from the system lottery, which had little practical use. He decided to put down all his work and take Nalan Ruoshui to the seaside for a vacation.

The sea breeze blew gently, the sand was soft, and the ocean water was azure blue. The rare leisure allowed Chen Mo to completely relax.

Meanwhile, Tianxing Live in the country was making big moves, launching three self-produced anime series simultaneously, pushing excitement to the max.

Even more anticipated was ”diamond lover,” starring Yang Mi, Bai Fengjiu, and Xiao Xue, with a cameo by Chen Mo. It was about to premiere simultaneously on CCTV and Tianxing Live, and netizens’ anticipation levels had already peaked, just waiting for the broadcast!
