Super Electric Eel Avatar

47 Finally Ou
Inside the residential tower of Zhongyun City’s ”Sky Gardens”...

”I’m a wolf from the north, walking in the vast wilderness, the shrill northern wind blows…”

”Hubby, who’s that calling at such a late hour?” A lazy delicate voice came from the bed, overshadowing the ringing tone.

”How would I know?” A big hairy hand pushed back the covers and grabbed the ringing mobile phone on the side cabinet.

The man on the bed showed his head through the covers. ”Hello, this is Wei Qing…”

”Boss, this is bad, our ’Star Neptune’ was hit by something that made three holes the size of a water tank...what should we do…” Cries of despair came the moment the call was put through.

”What!” The man suddenly jumped up from the bed and shouted at the top of his voice, ”Damn it, what kind of captain are you? What happened?”

”I...I don’t know boss, we have to get back soon, over twenty of our men used things to block the holes but it didn’t help, the water is now at the knee-level, and we can’t hold on much longer if we don’t go back now!”

”Come back, turn the engine to the highest power and come back right now!” Wei Qing roared on the phone. ”Get everyone to bring weapons and stay alert on the deck. Get rid of all boats that come by!”

”Hubby, what happened?” After Wei Qing hung up the phone, a beautiful, young woman came out from under the covers and asked coquettishly as she tugged on Wei Qing’s shoulder.

Wei Qing punched the woman’s stomach, and roared as he pulled his hair. ”Damn it, what the f*ck is going on?”

Chen Fan, the person who started all this, was controlling the electric eel as it followed the fast moving ship! Although he had made a rough calculation that this gambling ship, with a displacement of over a thousand tons, would not sink within a short time, he was still a little worried. He would be very happy if the boat sinks, but not if it sinks with the gambling customers on it.

At seven plus in the morning… Chen Fan took out his phone and changed a new card before calling 110 using a high-pitched voice. ”Hello, 110? I wanna report a big situation. I saw a big ship coming toward Zhongyun. I’ve no idea what valuable stuff it’s carrying but there are people holding weapons everywhere on the deck.”

”Who am I? I’m a fisherman going out to fish. They’ll be reaching Xingfeng Pier in half an hour. Quick, send someone over to have a look. It better not be those rascals from Southeast Asia bringing in drugs to sell here!”

”Yes, yes, it’s Xingfeng Pier on Jianye Road…” After hanging up and removing the card, Chen Fan gave a sinister laugh and continued shifting his thoughts onto the electric eel to spy on the gambling ship.

The Captain of Zhongyun City’s Anti-Riot Team, Xie Ruijiang, was feeling very bitter sitting in the office. He felt like a submissive husband waiting at home for his wife who was still out at night. He could only blame it on his bad reputation. After being transferred to Zhongyun City’s Armed Police Detachment for over half a year, he had not taken part in a single big case. Xie Ruijiang’s childhood dream was to become a police officer and catch bad guys. This city was too tame for him so how could he not feel resentful and depressed? Just as he was sighing away like a melancholy woman, a young man rushed into the office with excitement. ”Captain Xie, we have work to do! The chief wants me to inform you that there’s a ship with armed drug traffickers from Southeast Asia reaching Zhongyun in half an hour…”

”Armed drug traffickers from Southeast Asia?” Xie Ruijiang was startled, but quickly jumped up. ”Quickly inform all our men to gather in two minutes, and get to the scene in twenty minutes…” Xie Ruijiang was as if he was on steroids. It was natural for a talented hot-blooded young man who had been sitting on the bench every day for half a year to act this way.

Eight o’clock sharp...

The ship’s waterline dropped to an alert level of fifteen meters as it finally wheezed into Xingfeng Pier. Before the shipped docked properly, seven or eight speed boats pulled up to the side and started sending passengers from the ship toward the shore in an insane manner. Wei Qing’s heart was broken as he witnessed the scene in front of him. Without another word, he ran toward the speed boat with his two subordinates.

”Boss, what should we do…” Ma Hongjun who was standing on the deck went weak in front of Wei Qing the moment he saw him. His face was covered in tears, partly because he felt sorry for the ship and partly because he was afraid that Wei Qing would kill him out of anger.

Wei Qing was so furious that his hair was almost standing up. ”What exactly is going on?”

”I don’t know...I don’t know…” Ma Hongjun wiped his nose and looked very pitiful, ”The ship suddenly shook vigorously three times last night. I ran to the ship’s hold and saw three big holes at the bottom…”

Wei Qing gave him a kick. ”Stop crying! Quick, bring me there to have a look!”

”Yes...yes…” Ma Hongjun dared not even pat away the dust on his pants after getting kicked, and pathetically led the way to the ship’s hold.

At the ship’s hold, Wei Qing’s felt as though his heart sank to the bottom of the ocean. He was told the sea water was at knee-level when he received the phone call at night, but now…

”Bo-bo-boss, it’s down there…” Ma Hongjun stammered as he pointed at the bottom of the ship’s hold which had been completed flooded with sea water.

”Ah…” Like a beast gone mad, Wei QIng kicked Ma Hongjun right into the deep ship’s hold and then took out a pistol from his waist. He pulled the sleeve angrily and pushed the bullet to the top of the barrel.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Ma Hongjun who was struggling in the water suddenly had four blots of blood flowing out from his body. Thereafter, Wei Qing pointed the pistol at his subordinates behind him. ”Quick, all of you go get water pumps. Don’t ever let it sink, otherwise you will end up like him!”

”Yes!” The armed subordinates hiding in the ship’s hold threw away the guns in their hands and rushed out from the metal door, afraid that they might be shot if they were too slow.

”Ah…” After everyone was gone, Wei Qing threw away the pistol and grabbed an AK47 from the ground. He pulled the bolt and pointed it at the slightly shaking Ma Hongjun before pulling the trigger. Dah dah dah dah dah…

After the bullets ran out, Wei Qing threw away the weapon again and grabbed another rifle, pulled the bolt and then the trigger. Dah dah dah dah dah…

After venting for two whole minutes, Wei Qing, who had already calmed down, walked toward the door holding the rifle with the intention of intimidating his subordinates hoping to motivate them to save the ship which he had put painstaking efforts into.

Just as Wei Qing stepped out of the ship’s hold with the rifle… He suddenly heard a bang and felt as if his face had instantly vanished into thin air before falling full length backward.

”The madman is finally taken out…” said Xie Ruijiang to the camouflaged policemen, who were holding identical Type 79 submachine guns.
