Super Electric Eel Avatar

41 Dongming County
After controlling the electric eel back to the shoal, Chen Fan felt very restless. Although they got rid of Wei Songyue, Chen Fan felt that this matter would not be put to rest just like that. There was someone by the name of He Shan present at the scene when he first had conflict with Wei Songyue. Although he was not around during his subsequent encounters with Wei Songyue, Chen Fan believed that He Shan was aware when Wei Songyue sent someone to kill him. Even the boss of Tianhai Shipping, Wei Qing, may have been in ’the know’.

The security in Zhongyun had always been good, and there had not been any shootings for the past one to two years. Wei Qing had hired three shooters at one go, and it was unlikely that any of his subordinates would have had the guts to do so unless Wei Qing had given his approval. When Wei Qing realizes that his subordinates haven’t come back to report in one or two days, the first person that he will think of will be Chen Fan.

Wei Qing who had been in power in Zhongyun City for many years was no small fry, like Wei Songyue. By the time he brings people and comes charging at the door, it will not be a matter of just a few pistols. Chen Fan went to the living room and told Wang Bing about his fear.

”Just this?” Wang Bing said as he watched television on the couch. ”With me around, Wei Qing won’t be able to lay a finger on you unless he brings his men and launches a grenade attack.”

”If you are so sure of yourself, then why was I still being pointed at with a gun?” Chen Fan said with a stiff face.

”I didn’t have a gun then!” Wang Bing changed a few channels out of boredom, ”Boss, seriously? You didn’t tell me that you had a gun. If the gun was in my hands, things would have been different with those three guys?”

”What can a gun do? You’ll be courting death if you open fire.”

Wang Bang threw away the remote control in his hand and said, ”Then you tell me what to do and I’ll listen to you.”

Sitting on the couch, Chen Fan gave it a thought and said, ”How about we go into hiding for a while. There are too many things to think about if we stay at home. The police will definitely come once they know about the shooting.”

”I’m fine with that. Everywhere is the same for me anyway.” Wang Bing nodded indifferently.

Chen Fan thought for a while, ”Oh, how long will it take to be as skillful as you?”

”Don’t even think about it. I learned martial arts from my grandfather when I was five, and my father got me into the army when I was eighteen. I’m not bragging, but after all these years of training, I can easily defeat a special forces soldier.” Wang Bing gave it a thought. ”But, if you’re willing to put in some hard work, I’m confident I can train you to become a qualified soldier in three months.”

”Isn’t the training for new recruits three months?” Chen Fan rolled his eyes. ”I thought you were better than this.”

”What do you know. You call those soldiers? They’re just a group of kiddos who know how to shoot a gun at most. Real professional soldiers need at least a few years of training to be up to the mark!”

”Is the training tough? I’m not doing it if it’s too tough.”

”You’re the boss, of course I can’t be too hard on you.” Wang Bing felt a little helpless. ”But if you really wanna improve your battle skills, you have to put in some hard work. If you’re willing to train hard, I guarantee that within three months, you’ll be able to settle those three people in five seconds if met with the same scenario as today.”

”So incredible!” Chen Fan was initially surprised, but soon shook his head in disappointment. ”I’ve heard from others that the three months of new recruit training is very tough and can make people shed tears. You make yours sound so incredible. The training method must be extremely inhuman and cruel.”

”That’s for sure, so you need to be tough to produce good results!” Wang Bing shook his head. ”If you don’t want hardship, we can use milder methods...but the results will be significantly reduced.”

”There’s really no shortcut?” Chen Fan mumbled after a long pause, ”I’ve heard of Bruce Lee using electric currents to stimulate the muscles, something like two minutes of stimulation is equivalent to half a day of high intensity training.”

”There is indeed such a thing, but it’s mostly used for treating muscular dystrophy. To really strengthen the body, you’ll need high-power current to stimulate the muscles to make them vibrate at high-frequency. The result is extremely good. I’ve seen others who had been through a similar exercise. Just by using electric current to stimulate the muscles for a week, the muscles were better worked out than going through a month of physical training. But, it has a fatal shortcoming, that is irreversible damage to the internal organs, especially the heart. The current increases the load to the heart when passing through it which elevates the heart rate, and this is highly likely to cause death over a prolonged period of time”

”What if we can get the current to bypass the heart?” Chen Fan became interested in this. Controlling current was the electric eel’s forte.

”If it doesn’t pass through, there won’t be a problem as long as the heart is not over strained.” Wang Bing knitted is brows. ”But unfortunately, there’s no way to bypass the heart other than wrapping it with a layer of insulated plastic.”

”Oh, then let’s use a milder method! I really have to improve my battle skills, or else I won’t even know how to protect myself when an emergency strikes. If I totally depend on you, I may meet Hades soon.” After letting out a sigh, Chen Fan stood up and said, ”Let’s go into hiding for the time being, we’re just waiting for death to come by staying at home.”

After packing some clothes, Chen Fan made a phone call to Zhang Lele, telling them not to go to the office for the time being and wait for his instructions at home. Chen Fan felt that it was better to play it safe. If they could find him at his home, they could also go to his office. At first, Zhang Lele thought that her boss was going to fire them, and immediately cried and pleaded. After hearing Chen Fan say that they would still be paid their normal salary, she was elated and shouted ”long live the boss”.

”Boss, where are we going to hide?” In the BMW, Wang Bing turned his head and said to Chen Fan who was sitting in the back.

”Go to Dongming County. Wei Qing can’t possibly search all the nearby counties no matter how powerful he is.” Chen Fan purposely chose a place near the ocean.

”Alright…” Wang Bing started the car and drove toward the main entrance of the district.

Dongming County is over thirty kilometers away from Zhongyun City. It is also considered an economically developed coastal city with good material conditions. On the highway, the turbocharged engine with a 3.0 displacement fully displayed its rotational speed, reaching the border of Dongming County in less than twenty minutes and covering a distance of over thirty kilometers.

After dinner, they chose a high-end hotel near the sea and put up there.

”Boss, we can’t possibly hide forever!” Wang Bing said as he burped. ”Our home is in Zhongyun...our company is in Zhongyun, we have to go back sooner or later!”

”I’m getting a headache over this.” Chen Fan sat on the couch with his eyes closed and pinched the bridge of his nose. ”We have to think of a way to get this Wei fella in jail, otherwise I’ll never be at ease.”

”Just kill him directly. Isn’t he managing a gambling ship in the international waters? Let’s get onto the ship, sail out there and kill all of them.”

”Go ahead if you want, I’m not going.”

”Haha, neither am I.” Wang Bing smirked. ”This is not a good idea, unless we kill all the gambling customers too.”

”Let’s take it one step at a time!” Chen Fan sighed. ”Go to sleep now and be up early tomorrow morning to teach me combat skills.”

”Alright, alright, just go through the apprenticeship ceremony and then give me a big red packet after that.” Wang Bing smiled slyly. He always had this expression on his face which made people feel that he was up to no good.

”You can only choose one, apprenticeship ceremony or red packet.”

Wang Bing said without hesitation, ”Red packet then!”

Lying on the big soft bed, Chen Fan shifted his thoughts onto the electric eel again and controlled it to swim toward Dongming County. Since it was possible to use electric current to stimulate the muscles, Chen Fan wanted to give it a try. He could not continue being so weak. He needed to prepare for the future because the chances of him getting into trouble again with big shots was very good, especially since he’ll be making big bucks in the future.
