Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 825: The Golden Opportunity [Bonus]

’A swordsman and an Alchemist’

Kent said, staring at the two figures that appeared.

The male is a bald fellow with a sword strapped on his back, clad in a flowing robe, the kind monks wear.

He is the only Sword Emperor in the sect, known widely as Old Sword. His understanding of the sword is one that no one can measure.

In fact, in the planetary alliance, he is among the top three Sword Emperors and a member of the Crimson Cult, so even if he is stronger than the strongest in the planetary alliance, nobody can tell.

The female, however, is the only Pill Emperor in the world and the master of the Pill Princess, Pill Emperor Liora, a flame elemental, and the most mysterious woman in the sect and the entire alliance.

She had never challenged anyone to a fighting duel despite rumours suggesting she could rival even the sect master.

To all, she is one of the best alchemists in the entire planetary alliance and even the Ivy Star system.

The two powerhouses appeared, and every disciple present felt the pressure.

”Old Sword, Lady Liora, what brings you here?” Lady Enzi asked, her tone calm.

”Shouldn’t we be the ones asking that? We’ve waited 200 years for you to come out of seclusion so we can drink a new wine I brewed, but who would have thought you would not only kill six elders, including a supreme elder, but now stir the pot among the disciples.

Were you that bored that you sought entertainment from these kids?” Lady Liora asked, a charming smile gracing her lips.

Lady Enzi shrugged, hearing her words. The air around her is glassy, while the air around Lady Liora is calmer and warmer. As for Old Sword, the air around him is sharp.

”I do need some entertainment, and there is nothing wrong with seeking it here. Of course, if you want me to apologize for killing those bastards, then know I won’t.

I killed them for tarnishing the image of the sect and putting the lives of billions in harm’s way. Now, if you are here to watch, then stay on the sidelines and watch; you might find it more enjoyable than you think.”

Lady Enzi turned to Kent, ”So what do you think, Kent? Can you defeat all 100 of them, each under 5 seconds, and gain all these benefits?”

Kent smiled and looked around him, making sure everyone got a good look at him.

”I am a humble kid, just 21 years old, so bragging isn’t in my blood. However, moments like this, if I don’t brag and farm for some aura, it will just be a waste, so ye all should hear me.

Getting a chance to challenge me is as far as you can go. Thinking about actually winning is not something that can happen; it’s something that can only be achieved when you catch me in my sleep.

So, try your best if you are an outer disciple and become one of the 100 disciples, so that you can become an inner disciple.

Of course, who am I if not generous? In the 100 battles that will be fought, I will stand in one place and will not move.

So, to those who can make me take a step back, even if I defeat you, I happen to know a thing or two about alchemy. So, you will have a chance to request any pill you want, and I will concoct it for you.

It will be Tier 8, 100% pure and out of my account.”

Stunned silence.

Everyone could only stare at Kent like he was the most unique thing they’d ever seen. His confidence and the way he spoke, even though it oozed with arrogance, no one could deny that he truly deserved to be arrogant.

Nobody in their right mind can boldly stand and challenge an entire sect made of two sections, and even add stakes so high that many would kill for.

”Hahahahaha.” Suddenly, Old Sword burst into laughter, then he vanished, appearing before Kent. Nyss, who was beside Kent, hid behind him now, using Kent as her shield.

Old Sword slammed his hand on Kent’s shoulder, and the brat felt an energy move through his body, but instead of resisting, he let it flow through his body.

”Hahahahaha,” Old Sword laughed again, ”Kid, what is your name again?”

”Kent.”

”A good name. Well, Kent, I can tell you are also a swordsman, and judging by your aura, you are not a weak one.

I am impressed, and for that, I will sweeten the pot. If you manage to defeat all 100 disciples, I will allow you to view the True Blade Tablet for 30 days.”

Both Lady Enzi and Liora raised their brows, hearing Old Sword’s words.

”I don’t know what the True Blade Tablet is, but I would surely love to have a chance to view it.” Kent smiled, and Old Sword laughed and vanished back to where he was.

Liora used spiritual energy to ask him a question when he appeared beside her, ”Do you really have to go that far? Offering him a chance to view the tablet while not even a core disciple yet?”

”That is the thing, this kid qualifies to become a core disciple. I tested his sword aura, and while he is only a sword grandmaster, he had already unlocked Profound Sword Aura.”

”What?” Lady Liora snapped her eyes back to Kent, who was looking back at her. Their gaze met, and for a moment, a golden glow flashed across Kent’s eye.

She noticed, but it would be later on that she would recognize what she saw.

”Grandmaster swordsman and had already unlocked Profound Sword Aura. Doesn’t that make him comparable to those monsters that mostly come from the High Worlds?”

Old Sword nodded.

”I think this time, we have found a gem. And oh, he said he is an alchemist, so maybe you should keep an eye on him; he might have the means to teach your arrogant disciple some manners.”

Lady Liora didn’t say anything, but she would now keep a close eye on Kent, for she could tell there was more to him than met the eye.

”Everyone should settle in. Elder Mikko will handle that. But know that in two weeks, there will be a major duel that will happen here in the Outer Section.

That means, for the next 13 days, you each have one chance to land your strongest attack on the Great Titan’s body, and those who fall within the top 100 will participate in the upcoming competition.

Now, those of you thinking of using pills to cheat, know that I will personally oversee the selection and competition, so be sure not to test me.

I don’t mind shattering your body into countless glassy pieces. That said, welcome once again to the Supreme Immortal Sect.”

She vanished like shattered glass.

Elder Mikko took over and began explaining the minor rules of the sect to everyone. To her, ’discipline’ is the most important rule, for those with discipline will not break the other minor rules.

When she was done, everyone earned their badge, which allowed them to get their sect robes, rooms, and their first cultivation resources.

Due to the duel, everyone was given the next two days off to prepare.
