Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 823: Fighting For Her Big Brother

Seven thousand two hundred and three disciples came with big dreams, but only 720 made it through the sect doors.

The rest were escorted back a few hours after the exams ended. Some left with tears rolling down their faces.

The few who came close to entering the sect pleaded severely, but against someone like Elder Mikko, not even the emperor would have been allowed to enter.

In the end, they can only go and come back three years later.

Of course, if new geniuses emerged in the various worlds linked to the sect three years from now, then their chances of coming back to try again would be next to none, since the sect would give priority to the new geniuses over the old ones.

[Outer Section - A few hours ago]

Every last disciple in the outer section of the sect was waiting patiently for the disciples to enter. Those who have their motives set and are ready to implement them have already prepared their speeches.

Those waiting for their sisters and brothers were also actively waiting, each gazing at the giant door with the growing blue portal.

When the first person entered the gate, everyone saw her and most raised their brows.

”She is a half-Elf.”

One disciple said, looking at Princess Elowen with a shocked expression.

Those who bet that an Elf would make it through the doors first lost. Those who picked the side of the Dragons also lost. The half-elves who aren’t that prominent in the Outer sect were also shocked to see their kind enter first.

”It’s here, Princess Elowen. She is finally here,” one half-elf shouted, almost giving the others a heart attack.

”No way. I thought she rejected entering the sect about 7 times. Does it mean the queen is dead?” Another half-elf who knew more about the reason why the princess didn’t join the sect all this while asked.

Of course, his question made every half-elf frown, and a few started flying toward Princess Elowen. However, before they could get close to her, an invisible barrier blocked them.

”The hell.”

”The exam is not yet over, so refrain from approaching the disciples.” The voice was sweet, calm, and collected, but it made everyone take a step back.

At that very moment, Princess Freya also entered, adding more frowns to everyone’s faces. Then Madea, another half-elf, appeared, and this time, the most arrogant dragons and Elves started murmuring.

However, broken hearts set in when the 4th, 5th, and 6th were all half-elves

This struck them like lightning.

However, by the time the 23rd person entered, they knew things had changed and would never be the same again. The half-elves have arrived, and their performance was nothing short of amazing.

Eventually, the conversation shifted when many noticed Kent, or the human who was supposed to be among the half-elves, hadn’t appeared yet.

”I knew it. That video was tampered with, making it so we all should hold this trash from Sonox in high respect when in fact, he is just trash.”

”I mean, what do you think? Using a human as their shield clearly shows they are trash. The last time I remember, the humans fell off after the war.”

”I wasted my time for nothing.”

”Me too.”

”If this human manages to get here, I will be sure to stomp on his face and beat the crap out of him for making me wager on him and losing precious supreme points.”

”Add me to that beating. I want to get my Supreme Points’ worth.”

Nyss, who was listening to all these disciples badmouth Kent, bubbled with anger to the point that her pain and anger for failing to enter the sect first was even washed away.

She turned and glared at the disciples and pointed her slender fingers at them.

”Who are you calling trash? Big brother Kent is not trash, unlike you lot who couldn’t even become inner disciples after lazing around for years now.

If you want to call someone trash, then why don’t you take a mirror and look at what trash looks like?”

Her words struck like a needle, making everyone who was badmouthing Kent boil with anger.

”Bitch, who are you calling trash? Do you think stepping through the gates of the sect makes you one of us? If I were you, I would glue that mouth of yours and hope I don’t smack the shit out of you.”

”Or you think because you are from Thryxis, you can’t be touched?”

Nyss pointed back and threatened, ”I won’t use my race to brag, unlike you useless dragons and elves. If you have the spine, challenge me to a deathmatch now, and let’s see if you can continue living after today.”

”Oh yeah. Had it not been for the barrier, I would have already separated your head from your body. Hiding behind an invisible wall to brag, do you think that wall will protect you for long?”

Nyss didn’t say a word; instead, she moved and soon crossed the barrier. ”I have stepped out of the barrier. Anyone dare challenge me now? Or do you think I am the Widow Empress, will be afraid to cross a mere barrier?”

A cold air washed over everyone when Nyss spoke after crossing the barrier. It was as if the angel of death had descended upon her and spoken through her.

Everyone looked at each other, and a few who had spoken took major steps back.

They had heard of her. They knew her legend.

So they knew she was not one they could mess with.𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Nyss narrowed her gaze at them and, for a moment, nearly lunged at the one closest to her. Thankfully, Kent appeared at that moment, making her calm down a bit.

”All you do is talk trash, but when a real threat appears, you cower like a bunch of rats.” She pointed her dagger at the disciple closest to her.

”I don’t know the rules of this sect yet, but know that the moment I do, I will challenge you first and use your blood to purify my body for engaging with the likes of you.”

She moved back into the barrier, causing many to sigh in relief.

A second later, her frown disappeared, replaced by a beaming smile as she moved toward Kent.

”Big brother Kent, I missed you so much. Why did you make me worried?” She wrapped her arm around Kent’s, appearing like she had known him for years already.

Kent shook his head, knowing this was what he would have to deal with for the next couple of years that he would be staying in the sect, so he might as well get used to her now.

”I am here now, and that is all that matters.”

Nyss nodded and rested her head on Kent’s shoulder. ’Just where did this troublemaker come from?’ Kent smiled, then he focused on all the eyes staring at him.

He studied them for a few moments, then his smile widened.

”This goes to all Outer and Inner disciples. I don’t know what you all expect to gain from hating me, nor do I care about any of you.

However, I have recently come to realize that preserving life is something we should all strive to practice.

It has many benefits.

So, all those thinking of challenging me to a death match, don’t. I don’t want a death match, for I don’t plan on shedding blood.

But to those who won’t listen to reason and still challenge me, if I don’t kill you in under five seconds, I will pack my things and leave the sect.”
