Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 822: After 5 hours Report, Kent’s Dominance

”Looks like from the 90th step upward, things aren’t rainbows and sunshine.”

It has already been five hours since the entrance exams began, and at the moment, the ones leading are Princess Elowen and Freya, who are on the 95th step.

However, while they used less than 3 hours to reach the 90th step, it has been 2 hours already since they started traversing the last ten steps.

But judging by the pace they are moving, Kent could tell they are facing something much more difficult than the previous ones, and this only made him wonder what they were going through.

”Though I have to give it to them, unlike most who have already started using enhancement skills, none had activated any yet. But they would have to start now.”

As if Kent was reading their minds, Princess Elowen activated her cold flame, wrapping it around her body.

With that, she moved, and in under a minute, she stepped through the sect gate, becoming the first among the new disciples to set foot inside.

Princess Freya didn’t have to use her flame because the moment Princess Elowen activated her soul flame, all those within five steps from her felt the pressure bearing down on their bodies lifted to some degree.

Even in the case of Princess Freya, who was close to the half-elf princess, she felt all pressure lifted, allowing her to enter the sect gate a few steps after Princess Elowen.

Madea was third to get in, activating an enhancement skill on the 98th step after riding on Princess Elowen’s flame from the 93rd step.

Soon, more of the disciples from Sonox entered the sect. Of course, all of them were the ones who had trained under Uncle Drake.

By 7 hours, all 23 of them had entered. By then, the three geniuses had also entered, but not as quickly as they had wanted.

Princess Elowen, Princess Freya, and Madea topped the ranking, making all three of them feel sour.

By 12 hours, out of the 100 disciples that came from Sonox, 30 managed to make it through the sect doors.

Thirty-three made it in by the 20th hour, which was surprising considering hundreds of them came, but had it not been for Kent, fewer than 20 would have made it in.

This shows how weak Sonox is. But Kent knew that 3 years from now, Sonox would surprise everyone.

He had already made sure of that.

By the 23rd hour, 35 disciples from Sonox had entered.

It was then that Kent stood up and stretched. ”Time for me to show them how it is done.”

⟦What if the master couldn’t make it to the sect within an hour⟧

The tower asked, sarcasm laced in its words.

”Wanna bet on that?”

⟦What are the stakes, master⟧

”If I fail to climb in under ten minutes, I want you to dress me however you want for the next three days, and if I win, I want to have ten minutes unrestricted access to the tower store to pick anything I want for free.”

⟦I can do ten seconds⟧

”One minute”

⟦20 seconds⟧

”30 seconds”

⟦Deal. However, I will keep the names and descriptions of the items confidential. This means you will be going in without a clear understanding.

And to make it fun, I will rearrange the position of the items so you can’t cheat by relying on memories. Your appraisal ability also wouldn’t work⟧

”I dont mind.”

Kent smiled, and then he moved toward the stairway. Elder Mikko and the five inner disciples were staring at him in shock.

The past 23 hours had them wondering if Kent had given up, for nobody, not even inner sect disciples, can climb the stairway in under an hour on their first trial.

They first had to adapt. Yet Kent merely sat there, and when it was left with an hour before the exams came to an end, he stood up.

”He can’t actually think he can climb in under an hour, right?” One of the inner disciples asked, looking closely at Kent.

”Do you even have to ask. He is from Sonox, and we both know they are a trash world. Though they claim he has learned 12 divine grade techniques, I say that is just bullshit, and he will prove me right here.”

Obviously, this disciple has a problem with disciples from Sonox, making him blinded by anger. But then his eyes widened when, in under ten seconds, Kent was already on the 20th step.

”I expected there to be pressure on the stairway, but aside from the cold air, everything is just...normal.”

Kent said with a smirk like he was merely climbing an air-conditioned stairway. Within a minute, he was already on the 70th step.

By the 2nd minute, he had reached the 90th step. Then, like a boss, he walked through the gates of the sect as if he had climbed into an elevator that took him into the sect.

Be it Elder Mikko, the five inner disciples, the disciples still on the stairway, or Lady Enzi, who was watching from the outer area of the sect, they all held shocked expressions.

From start to finish, Kent showed no sign of being affected by the three stages of the stairway. He climbed them all as if it were the easiest thing. All three levels of the stairway were nothing to him.

The first level was to test their conviction of the soul.

Many passed this stage because it has something to do with the soul, and as people who have already formed their cores, their connection to their souls is much stronger.

The second is the conviction of the Mind. Many suffered there, but eventually passed.

The last part is where many struggle, for it involves the conviction of the body. That is where the pressure comes in, and also where many have suffered the most, and some continue to suffer.

However, regardless of all three, Kent went through them all as if they weren’t even there.

But then again, they weren’t aware he had already broken a limit on his Mind, soul, and body. That alone took care of all forms of pressure that would have affected him,

In a way, because he broke those limits, he became immune to the stairway.

”Is that even possible. The fastest climb was 45 minutes, and that was after 10 trials.”

”To think a mere outer disciple broke the record of the will of an Angel Stairway, and the new one set is just 2 minutes on the first trial. I think nobody will believe this.”𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

”I have it all on video,” Another disciple said, holding a recording crystal.

”This is just too crazy.”

---

Lady Enzi stood there frozen, unable to process what she had just seen. In all her life as an elder in the supreme immortal sect, today was the first time that she had seen something that surprised her.

”Just who is this kid, and how was he able to climb all 100 steps like we were ordinary?”

”I need to understand him better before making assumptions about him. But if my eyes aren’t deceiving me, then this kid is someone hiding a great deal, and I must find out what that is.
