Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 806: Meeting Pill Monarch Nefeli [Bonus]

”Brother Kent, you said it. In the end, Pill King Yota did manage to win,” Suoh said, and Kent smiled.

”I guess I was impressed with how he controls his flame, so I wanted him to win.”

”Even so, you managed to see how good he was with his flame and predicted his win. Not many can do what you did.” Suoh, of course, was doing everything to get in Kent’s good graces.

The competition had come to an end, and so they would be parting ways. Before that happened, he wanted to leave a good impression on Kent. Praising Kent’s ingenuity was one way of doing that.

Kent read that, and while he didn’t mind, he knew that the moment he woke up in the future, coming to the exact past again would be hard.

But then again, he didn’t know what would happen the next time he entered the Pill World. Gaia told him nobody could see him when he was inside the oil world, yet that wasn’t the case now, so who said he couldn’t come back to this point?

So, in a way, he was hoping he would come back, and that was why he planned on giving this new friendship a shot.

”I also have to thank you for helping me know more about this place and your insight into Alchemy. I am grateful and would one of these days pay back your help,” Kent said, and Suoh smiled.

”No need to thank me, Brother Kent. It’s what friends do for each other.”

”I guess you’re right.” Kent knew this was the time to show Suoh they were friends, so he added a few lines that brought a smile to Suoh’s face, ”Since we are friends, you can just call me Kent.”

”Then you can also call me Suoh.”

And just like that, a friendship between someone 340,700 years in the past and one from the future had just formed.

”Here is my communication token. Whenever you visit the Elven Nation, you can contact me, and I will take you around the many Elven cities and even the Lotus Bloom Pill Sect.”

Kent received the communication token and stored it in his tower storage, which surprisingly worked. Of course, he didn’t expect the token to be there when he went back, considering this was just a dream-like state he had found himself in.

A few minutes later, Kent felt the gaze of Pill Emperor Matin prompting him to look at him. He was standing a few meters away.

Kent quickly stood up.

”Follow me to see the Pill Monarch.” Kent nodded and turned to Suoh. ”Until next time, Suoh. I will be sure to buy you a drink so we can talk more about alchemy.”

”Until next time, Kent.” Suoh waved goodbye, and Kent left with the Pill Emperor under the watchful gaze of everyone still on the 7th floor.

They clearly still didn’t understand how a mere Pill Grandmaster was able to win such a big opportunity over them. The vengeful ones started looking into Kent, with a few turning their fangs at Suoh.

However, the moment they saw the badge of the Lotus Bloom Pill Sect, they backed off. Unless they wanted to incur the wrath of one of the strongest sects in the world, they would do well not to touch him.

Soon, Kent and Pill Emperor Matin entered a room, walked across it, and entered another room. From there, Pill Emperor Matin pointed at a door.

”The Pill Monarch awaits you there.”

Kent nodded and nervously asked, ”Can I get any pointers on how to face her? This is my first time seeing even a Pill Emperor, and as you can see, I am nervous around you, so how can I face a Pill Monarch without making a clown of myself?”

Pill Emperor Matin smiled, ”Just be yourself. She is an easy-going person; you will do well just by being yourself.”

”Being myself, huh? I suppose I can do that.” Kent laughed nervously, making Pill Emperor Matin smile.

If the judges at the Academy Awards saw this, they would hand him the Oscar for the Actor of the Year award.

If anything, Kent wanted to see this woman more than anything. However, after seeing the various ways the Pill Kings concocted their pills, he knew there was so much he could learn.

He is good with the pill records, but learning from other sources will build upon the already embedded knowledge he received from the tower whenever he ascends a rank in Pill Making.

So he wanted to make a good impression on the Pill Emperor.

Perhaps one of these days, if he managed to find his way back to this place, he would ask for some pointers.

Safe to say he had done a remarkable job on that front. Now, all that was left was to meet the Pill Monarch and learn the reason why she summoned him.

Of course, when it comes to charming women, Kent has already sunk his fangs into a goddess, so he had no problem on that front.

Kent walked toward the door, and when he was in front of it, he pushed it open and walked through.

The moment he stepped into the room where the Pill Monarch was seated in her throne-like chair, Kent felt his body wrapped in a healing aura, the kind that made him feel relaxed.

’She is dangerous. If I didn’t know better, I would have fallen for her tactic. Too bad I know a threat when I see one, so don’t think you can pry into my secrets, lady.’

Kent stood there, looking at the Pill Monarch, who was also looking at him. The two were locked in a staring contest that lasted four minutes.

In Kent’s POV, he was keeping his composure, making sure he didn’t slip and let loose some of his secrets while the Pill Monarch was doing her best to examine Kent’s nature.

Safe to say, after four minutes, she couldn’t get anything out of him.

”Interesting. I have been around for almost twenty thousand years now, but this is my first time seeing someone who stood guard against me,” the Pill Monarch smiled. ”Tell me, Pill Grandmaster Kent, why do you look guarded facing me?”

Kent smiled. ”My mother used to say the more beautiful they are, the more dangerous they are. You, Pill Monarch, are one of the most beautiful women I have seen, and as a good son, I take my mother’s words seriously.”

The Pill Monarch burst out laughing, something nobody had the privilege to see. However, upon hearing Kent’s reply, she couldn’t hold back her laughter, which lasted a whole minute.

”Smooth talker, huh. I guess I can just call you Kent, and you can call me Big Sister Nefeli. You cannot reject that offer.”

’I would be an idiot to reject such an inviting offer.’

Kent smiled. ”I guess I will call you Big Sister from now on.”

”That is better. So why don’t you sit down so we can have a conversation? I have a few things I would like to ask you, and don’t worry, they aren’t too much to get into your secrets.”

Kent sat down and prepared himself to have a conversation with a Pill Monarch.
