Chapter 73 Flying Dragon in the Sky

The result of Wei Zhiqing’s appeal trial was announced before the new year.

- Insufficient evidence, acquittal.

This result can be said to be both unexpected and within reason.Ever since Yisi’s thesis was published in ”Star Law”, the controversy surrounding his views has never ceased. Therefore, his rights income from related papers alone has reached six figures.Conservative and innovative scholars quarreled in major academic journals with red faces and thick necks. It is rumored that two scholars even discussed this matter at the dinner table, and immediately threw their chopsticks and rolled up their sleeves, and started fighting.Don’t look at them usually claiming to be literati, if they really want to be red-eyed and argue, it is difficult for ordinary people to match.

The justice of the Supreme Court who is in charge of trying this case is a neutral judge, neither conservative nor innovative. But the reason for his verdict is exactly the same as Bai Qing’s acquittal verdict that day.

And as the ”instigator” of everything, You Yisi once again stepped on the cusp of the storm.

When the verdict came out, every TV station was scrambling to report on it.On the not-so-wide streets of Fuli Township, there was no one in sight.People were either gathering in taverns or staying at home. When the verdict was actually announced, the whole town erupted in unanimous cheers, enough to shake the sky.

”Thinking that the major general was sentenced to death a few months ago, the current situation is simply unimaginable.”

In the lively tavern, people talked about this topic, and the name Xiao Yisi was mentioned again and again. In the corner, a lone figure sipped on a drink while listening to the chatter of the people around him.

”I heard that he is not yet 16 years old!”

Where, where, in a few days it will be her sixteenth birthday.

”It is said that when he entered school, he was one against a hundred. This year’s Beichen freshmen have suffered under his hands, and now they will tremble when they see him!”

...how does it sound like a villain?

”Published two authoritative articles in core journals at a young age, he must be a person who is obsessed with academics, maybe like those pedants who study hard and don’t look clean.”

”In that case, isn’t it because of academics that you have to delay eating and dressing?”

”Would you only take a bath once every two months!”

”Master General’s only son is his guardian knight. I heard that the two often have disputes.”

”I’ve heard of this too. It seems that Chang Geng star You Yanzhi’s appearance is too beautiful, which caused his dissatisfaction.”

”Hey, why is that?”

”What do you think, such a genius is always a little proud. Seeing a man of the same sex with such an outstanding appearance by his side all day long, he will inevitably be jealous.”

The rumors became more and more bizarre. The people sitting in the corner clenched their cups tightly and almost couldn’t help but threw up the table.

”What nonsense are you talking about!”

A person was ahead of him, slapped the bar and stood up.

”Now Major General Wei and other soldiers have been exonerated because of Xiao Yisi’s contribution. You are not happy about it, but instead gossip and chew people’s tongues here?” The man stared at his light brown eyes and said angrily , ”How can this place be called the people of Beichen!”

Hey, this is too much.Seeing that the atmosphere in the tavern suddenly condensed, the mysterious person sitting in the corner broke into a cold sweat for him.

”Hahaha!”

Unexpectedly, after a few seconds of cold silence, the audience burst into laughter.

”Here we go again! How many times is this the first time today?”

”Is it possible that Han Qing’s obsession can’t be cured?”

”How can you talk about Xiao Yisi like that, he is Beichen’s genius.” Someone imitated his tone and made the brunette young man blush all of a sudden.

As a result, his handsome face was stained with a thin blush, causing more people to tease him.

”Our Han Qing is a loyal fan of Xiao Yisi.” The proprietress walked through the crowd with a resentful face, stroking the young man’s head like caressing a child, ”One day you will become his guardian knight, Auntie will definitely do it for you.” Let’s celebrate with a banquet.”

Han Qing pushed her hand away in embarrassment. On the face that had just grown from a teenager to a young man, there was still a trace of youthfulness and reserve. However, he himself didn’t seem to be used to joking, so he opened his mouth dumbly to everyone’s good-natured ridicule, and then sat back down.

After a while, as if he couldn’t stay any longer, he picked up his long sword and left amidst the din of the room. The mysterious man in the corner stared at him and followed him quietly.

Han Qing felt very annoyed. He didn’t understand why everyone would laugh at him every time he just said what was in his heart.Although he knew that those laughter were not malicious, the feeling of being a grandstanding character still made him very uncomfortable.

He was going to find a secluded place to practice swordsmanship, but he was followed by someone not long after he went out.

With a flash in his eyes, Han Qing purposely quickened his pace and turned the corner. The people behind hurried to catch up, but he caught him right in the corner.

”Who are you?” Han Qing clasped the opponent’s wrist firmly.

Then he immediately felt that the figure of the person buckled under him was too slender, almost like an underdeveloped boy or girl.He was stunned for a moment before he let go of his hand, and at the same time saw a teary face.

”You hurt me.”

There was this girl with long black curly hair, because he held her arm behind her back, her eyes were full of tears from the pain.On her beautiful face, there was an accusation against Han Qing, which made the young man’s heart skip a beat, but at the same time, he couldn’t help but regret his failure.

”Sorry! I didn’t know it was a girl.” Han Qing raised his hand and took a few steps back, ”But why did you follow me?”

”Of course I’m curious about you.” The black-haired girl supported the wall and stood up, ”Is your name Han Qing? Did you grow up on this planet?”

”Ah.”

It wasn’t until the other party stood up that Han Qing realized that the girl was quite tall, not much better than boys of the same age.But this point made her more attractive and charming, and Han Qing couldn’t help but blush. He is not used to being so close to the opposite sex.

”Do you want to be Xiao Yisi’s guardian knight? Everyone in the tavern said so just now. Are you a military student?”

Han Qing said embarrassingly: ”That was just their heckling. I am not a military student. I just graduated from a basic school and learned swordsmanship for a few years. As for the guardian knight...” He said with a wry smile, ”How can there be so many outstanding people around him?” it is my turn?”

”Not necessarily, maybe I chose you because of the right eyes?”

Han Qing was amused by the girl’s innocence. ”Guarding the knight is a very important duty. He is responsible for protecting his contractor and fulfilling his star law for it. If you don’t have enough strength, becoming a knight just becomes the other party’s wish.” Burden. My ability is not strong enough, if I become Xiao Yisi’s guardian knight, I will not only be irresponsible for his safety, but also belittle other competitors with outstanding strength and hard work.”

Hearing what he said, the girl gradually put away her playful expression, stretched out her hand and patted Han Qing’s shoulder like two brothers, ”You are very ambitious, young man, I am optimistic about you! Practice swordsmanship for a few more years Go to Xiao Yisi, he will definitely accept you.”

Han Qing didn’t know whether to laugh or cry, and was about to ask her what else to do when she heard the girl ask, ”By the way, since you are a local here, do you know where Jasmine Eglin’s house is?”

As soon as she finished speaking, she found that the breath around Han Qing had obviously become condensed.

”Why are you asking this?” He suddenly became very cold.

The black-haired girl pretended to be unaware and said: ”I’m going to visit an old friend, and a friend of mine met her. I want to know if she still has family by her side?”

”Your friend?” Han Qing looked at her suspiciously, ”Will he know Aunt Jasmine? Impossible, who is he?”

”Xiao Yi.”

As soon as Han Qing finished questioning, he saw a tall figure striding over from the corner of the street. His platinum hair was a little disheveled due to running, but it didn’t damage his appearance at all.He walked into the alley, as if bringing in the brilliance, which hurt Han Qing’s eyes.

”I asked you to wait for me in the tavern, why did you run out by yourself?” The handsome young man who looked like a god said angrily, and lightly clasped the girl’s shoulder.

”Sorry, but instead of asking around, why don’t I find someone I know well and ask if I can lead the way?” The girl apologized with a smile, and the young man showed a helpless and pampered expression, obviously she couldn’t help it.

”You...you, you have Yanzhi! Changgeng star!”

However, Han Qing, who recognized the person, was extremely astonished. He looked at the two of them and said in astonishment, ”You called her Xiaoyi just now, who is she?”

”I’m his fiancée!” The girl climbed Youyanzhi’s arm and smiled, ”Since you recognize him, I won’t go around with you. Everyone knows that Youyanzhi is Youmingqi’s adopted son, that is, Jasmine’s adopted son. My fiancé and I want to visit the relatives of our former adoptive parents, so it’s no wonder.”

You Yanzhi actually has a fiancee!

It took Han Qing a while to digest the news. Seeing Yan Zhi’s signature hair color and appearance, they knew so much news, it was not a lie.

”Aunt Jasmine’s family...” He hesitated, but he didn’t notice that the girl opposite was almost holding her breath.

”Aunt Jasmine’s mother is indeed still alive, but she is too old to tell the difference between people and things. Are you still going to see her?”

”See you. As long as there are relatives alive, they are all worth cherishing to us. Han Qing, can you take me to see Jasmine’s mother?”

Facing the girl’s pleading eyes, Han Qing couldn’t help but nodded, and asked after a while: ”You are Yan Zhi’s fiancée, so what is your name?”

The girl froze for a moment, then said: ”My name is Mu Siyi, you can also call me Xiaoyi.”
