Chapter 65 Moving with the Wind

The Candor star in the central galaxy is a Class 3000 star located near the main star field. There are tens of thousands of foreign businessmen circulating on this planet famous for commerce every day, and there are [-] million permanent residents. At the same time, Kandor Star is also a secondary administrative center in the nearby administrative area. It is equipped with civil courts to criminal courts, as well as a basic military court responsible for judging crimes committed by military officers below the full-service rank.

The trial of Bai Qing’s case was arranged for the first instance in the basic military court of Kandor Star. The case of Major General Qian Wei Zhijiang was heard at the highest level of the Central Military Court of the Republic. This also means that, above it, only the Supreme Court of the Galactic Seventh Republic is qualified to hear Wei Zhijiang’s second-instance case.

Bai Qing was escorted to Kandor planet a week before the trial, and today, the defender who defended him is about to set foot on this planet.Less than five hours before the official court session, the judicial police of the Candor Basic Military Court received a mission to meet Bai Qing’s defender.

They parked the flying car outside the Starport and discussed the case while smoking cigarettes.

”Is it from the Third Fleet again?” The person sitting in the driver’s seat smoked a cigarette and said casually, ”What’s the date of the month?”

”Our side is the third one, but there are almost fifty in the entire central galaxy.” The co-pilot said, ”I heard that there are dozens of others pending trial. This time, the Beichen Third Fleet was sent in.” There are quite a few people.”

”At least they are all officers above the school level. They used to be so majestic, but they are not like this now, tsk tsk.”

”We don’t understand the affairs of these big shots. By the way, is the defender sent by Beichen again?” the co-pilot asked.

”Nonsense, which law firm in the central galaxy dares to take this kind of case, only Beichen and those who are not afraid of death dare to come. Of course, they are also the ones who are tried. If they don’t work hard, they will all be killed, haha .”

The two were teasing each other when they heard a low voice asking.

”Are the two pick-up personnel of the Kandor Basic Military Court?”

The person in the driver’s seat was shocked and stood up quickly.

”We are, you—” His gaze froze less than a second after he raised his head. The co-pilot next to him didn’t know why, so he also looked over, his mouth slowly opened wide, and he didn’t even know that the cigarette butt was about to fall on him.

Behind them stood a young man in a black uniform. The uniform was slim and straight, and the neckline and cuffs were embroidered with silver cross stars. The style was simple but revealed a low-key magnificence. And the person wearing this uniform is more like a figure walking out of an oil painting. His short platinum hair slightly covers his eyes, and the light-colored eyes of the same color are like amber with ice, with a touch of coldness.

This man, this man... Hiss, the co-pilot’s cigarette butt burned his thigh, and he jumped up with a low cry.And this young man who was as handsome as a god seemed to have noticed him, and glanced at him lightly, the co-pilot was so nervous that he didn’t know what to say.

Still driving, he found his voice first.

”We, we are the defenders sent by the basic military court in Kandor to receive Lieutenant Colonel Bai Qing. May I ask you—?”

Before he finished speaking, the person in front of him smiled slightly.

”It’s not me, but the people I serve.” He said, turning sideways to make way.

The two judicial policemen followed his line of sight and saw two young men in the same black uniform standing behind him. They stood upright without looking sideways, like knights loyally guarding their master. And behind them was a handsome young man.

The young man’s appearance was too young, which surprised the driver for a long time.It took a few seconds before he noticed that the boy was wearing the same uniform, except that it was white, not a dazzling white, but a white that touched people’s hearts. The silver cross starburst pattern on the boy’s body also seemed to have something more than the guards in black clothes.

While the driver was still looking at each other, the young man smiled slightly and made a sound.

”You two, please take us to the military court.”

Obviously this young man did not have the fierce aura of the previous few, but that smile carried a sense of oppression that people could not refuse. The judicial policeman who was driving swallowed his saliva, got out of the car quickly, and welcomed several people up.When getting into the car, the other three young men in black were obviously dominated by this boy, and his previous words also aroused the curiosity of the driver.

This is Bai Qing’s defender, isn’t he too young?

Noticing his gaze, the boy raised his eyes and looked over, then raised the corner of his mouth and smiled again. The driver hurriedly looked back, not daring to look at anything more.

These few people, he thought, are not good people.

And You Yisi was sitting in the back seat, looking at the bustling planet Kandor through the car window, but the faint smile on the corner of his mouth gradually cooled down.

When the bus arrived at the basic military court in Kandor, the attire and dress of Yisi and the others attracted more people’s attention. And after they showed their identities, their identities were verified again and again.

”Are you Bai Qing’s defender? Have you obtained the qualifications as a lawyer?” the identity checker asked.

You Yisi smiled, ”I am defending Bai Qing as a citizen’s representative, and I am not qualified to defend myself as a lawyer.”

As a civil agent, there was a trace of contempt in the eyes of the examiner. In the eyes of many people, citizen attorneys are those who have not obtained the qualifications of lawyers, or who have been disqualified from lawyers, and obtain the qualifications to represent cases through heresy ways.

He asked maliciously: ”Then are you acting as an agent because of the recommendation of a social group, or as a relative or friend of Bai Qing? We need to verify.”

You Yisi glanced at him, ”The one who recommended me is Beichen Military Academy Alumni Association.”

”Oh, the alumni association... Bei, Beichen Military Academy?!” The examiner’s eyes couldn’t help but widen.

You Yisi said calmly: ”Although I am still a student, since I have been recommended by the school, I will definitely do my job as an agent. Do I need to verify my student information?” He handed over a card.

With a beep, the message came out.

[Beichen Military Academy Prosecutor Candidate Department, first-year chief, Xiao Yisi.Student number...] These big characters hurt the examiner’s eyes.Where is the military academy? It is the top of the ivory tower that is difficult for ordinary people to enter, and the Beichen Military Academy is even more outstanding. He originally thought that this little person came from somewhere, but who knows...

The examiner looked at the information displayed on the card, and then at You Yisi, blushing, not knowing how to proceed.

”Sorry! Sorry, Xiao Yisi, I’ve been waiting for a long time!” At this time, a person who came out from the inner hall came out of their siege.

”I am the judge’s assistant for this trial.” The visitor reached out his hand to You Yisi, ”I will be in charge of your next arrangements. Guys, please follow me.”

You Yisi nodded, and led the three knights into the trial waiting area behind the judge’s assistant. At this time, the inspector standing at the door still hadn’t recovered.Soon, the examiner who realized that he had lost his composure just now said angrily: ”Isn’t he just a student at school, what are you putting on airs! Beichen Military Academy is amazing? You acted as the professor of Wei Zhijiang, so you lost the case.” He ruthlessly Grinding his teeth, he seemed to be very annoyed with his performance and Yu Yimi’s attitude.

The checker glared sternly at the direction in which they were leaving.

”I want to see what tricks you can come up with in this ironclad case.” He took out the communicator and quickly spread what happened just now.

Before noon, the news that Beichen had sent a student to defend Bai Qing was quickly spread within the basic military court of Kandor. So much so that when You Yisi finished his brief meeting with Bai Qing and formally appeared in the courtroom, everyone looked at him with probing and scrutinizing eyes.

That gaze seemed to be looking at some strange creature again.

”Please stop, the front is the trial area, please wait outside.” You Yanzhi and others were stopped when they were about to enter the door.

A yellow-haired boy still has to put on a show and bring so many guards. Many people saw this scene and waited for a good show. However, You Yanzhi just glanced at the person who was blocking him, and took out an ID. The other party was stunned for a moment, then looked at the badges they were wearing on their chests, put down their hands after a while, and let a few people in.

”What’s going on?” Someone whispered.

”Why did the trial let irrelevant people in?”

”Irrelevant person?” The sharp-eyed person sneered, ”Did you see that knight badge? It’s not an irrelevant person, but that guy’s guardian knight.” He looked at Yu Yimi who was already sitting in the defender’s seat, ”This Boy, he’s still a candidate for a prosecutor.”

”No way, I heard that he is only a first-year student, so he already has three guardian knights?”

”Who knows, there’s nothing Beichen can’t do, maybe he was sent here on purpose to support him.”

No matter what the people around him talk about, Yu Yimi doesn’t take it to heart at all.

He sat on the defender’s seat, looked at the opposite prosecution seat, and then looked at the three judge’s chairs with high backs on the stage.Since entering this courtroom, an oppressive and heavy atmosphere has been hanging over his head.Behind the judge’s seat, the huge star code and a relief of a scale seem to remind people at all times that this is a solemn trial court.

”Xiao Yi.”

You Yanzhi whispered in his ear.

You Yisi raised his head, noticing that the prosecution and public prosecutors facing him also took their seats one by one.

He took a deep breath and knew that the time to test himself had come.

At this time, no one knew who leaked the news. The news that a student at Beichen was defending a school-level officer of the Third Fleet quickly spread in a special circle. It didn’t take long for this unattractive trial to become a hot topic in an instant. Many people are waiting for this trial, either on the Internet or in other places.

”Snapped--!”

The presiding judge slammed down the gavel, and the unicorn beast engraved on the gavel was then pressed down. Those angry eyes were scrutinizing everyone majestically.

”The case of Lieutenant Colonel Bai Qing of the Beichen Third Fleet is now in court!”
