Chapter 59 Moving with the Wind

The ground under her feet seemed to be shaking, and Thalia vaguely felt that there seemed to be many people walking around.

His body had been in a rigid posture for too long, and his limbs were so congested and numb that he couldn’t move for a while.Because of this, those people did not realize that Thalia had woken up.

”Another group of people entered the town today.”

”If you don’t act again, they will probably be discovered by them.”

action?

”But if you act so hastily now, the chances will be much lower.”

”Is there any way!” One of them growled, ”Are we going to let the merman fish me? This is the last chance.”

”Since they give us this kind of treatment, don’t blame us for resisting.”

A group of people seemed to be discussing something intensely, and Thalia could hear it vaguely. He could feel the body temperature of his companions beside him, but none of them were awake yet. What’s going on, did I fall into the lair of thieves?

Just remember, they followed the shadow of a c-class fugitive and entered the town. Then, what happened?

Head hurts.Thalia couldn’t help moaning, and the people who were discussing stopped talking immediately.

”He seems to be awake.” Thalia felt a person squatting beside her, feeling the temperature on her forehead.

”The child has a fever. You have taken too much medicine!” the man blamed his accomplice.

”What can I do? They broke in and disrupted the plan, otherwise what else can I do?”

”But they’re still kids, and they’re still—”

Thalia fell into a coma again, and couldn’t hear all the words that followed. But the atmosphere in the secret room became complicated because of his unexpected sobriety.

Bai Qing stood in the corner, looking at these former companions, with unconcealable worry in his eyes.

”I don’t agree with this plan.” Bai Qing whispered, ”You can’t involve these children from the military academy, and you shouldn’t do it.”

”Did you just watch the major general step on the execution platform? By those who use us!”

The person sitting opposite him yelled: ”Those guys who used us and let us bear the blame, why can’t we fight back! Listen, Bai Qing, you have already stepped in, and I will not allow you to go back on your word. Major General’s The trial will be held in three days, and before that, we must take control of Raven Fortress.”

”That’s a whole fortress! What do you want to do?” Bai Qing yelled back, ”And you want other innocent compatriots to be charged as traitors with us?”

”Traitor.” The person sitting in the shadow sneered, ”Since the central government sent us to this road of no return, they should have expected this day.”

Someone walked in with an old-fashioned lamp, and the dim light illuminated the room enough for people to see the faces of everyone in the room.Among the five people present, three were the latest A-level wanted criminals announced on the arrest warrant! And they have another identity, the former school-level officers of the Beichen Third Fleet.

These people would have been tried by military courts in the near future. Now, however, they are gathering at the border, plotting and preparing for a counterattack.

Bai Qing didn’t join them at first. He just wanted to live a free life with his mother for the last time before the final judgment, so he came to his mother’s hometown. But who knows, it was also here that he met his companions who were secretly preparing to rebel.

”Tomorrow, your probation officer will come and serve you a summons to appear in court.” The man sitting in the chair looked at him, ”That’s our last chance, you know?” He moved closer to Bai Qing, ”Don’t let that The guardian found out. Don’t let the brothers’ blood flow in vain, Bai Qing!”

The sky was already slightly bright, but in this underground town of Mori, the rising sun could not be seen.

You Yisi and Qi Xiuhuang didn’t come back until early in the morning, so naturally they couldn’t escape the eyes of others, especially You Yanzhi, when he found out that this disobedient guy ran out without authorization in the middle of the night, his eyes seemed to want to kill him. It’s frozen.

You Yisi involuntarily hid behind Mu Fan, You Yanzhi’s gaze became even colder.

Mu Fan glanced at You Yisi behind him, and smiled lightly.

”Before you ask questions, let me tell you what we found when we went out to investigate tonight.”

He blocked You Yanzhi’s question, and said, ”Someone in Moli Town went out late at night, but the guards didn’t care about it. Why do you think this is?”

Christie frowned, ”Late at night?”

Wei Ying said: ”But they all said that it would be dangerous to go outside the town at night, why...”

”Because of this, it is more suspicious. I suspect that some people in this town are secretly preparing something. The disappearance of the previous team may have happened to meet their actions.” Mu Fan said, ”And among those people, I found an officer of the Third Fleet.”

Wei Ying’s complexion changed, ”You said this operation is related to the Third Fleet? Impossible, how could they hurt Beichen’s own students?”

Qi Xiu said, ”It doesn’t have to be the entire Third Fleet, remember those Class A fugitives who escaped?”

”That’s impossible!” Wei Ying said excitedly, ”They are upright and honest soldiers, they just ran away because they were slandered, they won’t do anything else!”

Qi Xiu scolded her, ”You are too emotional.”

Wei Ying exclaimed excitedly, ”You rebellious guy, what do you know!”

Hearing this, Qi Xiu’s expression darkened, and the blood on his face faded little by little.Seeing this scene, You Yisi knew what he had to say.

”Everyone, calm down. It’s still uncertain. This matter is related to the escaped Third Fleet officer, and we can’t startle the enemy. Brother Christie.”

”Yes.” Christie stepped forward.

”Please go to the town with Wei Ying to inquire about some information and bring Luo Xing with you, but don’t let him find out about our actions.”

”no problem.”

”Senior brother Yanzhi is not very convenient to show his face.” You Yisi’s words drew You Yanzhi’s eyes, he smiled and said, ”But among us, you are the strongest, so you will be in the middle. It’s dangerous, and we need you to protect us.”

You Yanzhi’s face softened, and he said, ”I can’t follow you?”

You Yisi shook his head, ”I’m going to visit an acquaintance, who might recognize you. So—” he turned his gaze around, ”Qi Xiu, you go with me.”

Before Qi Xiu could speak, Wei Ying refused first, ”He can’t!”

”I can’t trust him.” The normally sensible girl looked at Qi Xiu with guarded eyes, ”I can’t entrust Xiao Yi to someone who has betrayed his faith.”

You Yisi was in a dilemma, at this moment, Mu Fan said: ”Then, I will go too.”

The others looked at His Highness the Prince suspiciously.

I just heard Mu Fan say: ”With me following, I happen to be restraining Qi Xiu. You don’t have to worry about Qi Xiu, and you don’t have to worry about me, isn’t it the best of both worlds?”

You Yisi: ”Hehe.”

Mu Fan: ”What are you laughing at?”

”With your strength, who can stop you from what you want to do?”

Mu Fan’s dark eyes flickered for a moment, and he chuckled, ”Don’t worry.”

At least for now, he won’t make a move on this star.

So, under the acquiescence of most people, the action plan for the afternoon was arranged like this.As Mu Fan said, their time is running out. If they can’t investigate the matter clearly before tonight, the fortress will send people to investigate formally, and then everything will be overturned.

”I am leaving.”

You Yisi packed up his things and greeted the people in the room. You Yanzhi sat with his back facing him, looking sullen from his back.

”Brother, brother...” You Yisi said helplessly, ”I will take care of myself, don’t worry.”

”Take this.” You Yanzhi raised his hand and threw him something. You Yisi picked it up and looked, it turned out to be a wooden amulet.

You Yanzhi said: ”Since you don’t let me follow you, let me guard you by your side.”

Yi Yimi held the amulet and smiled.

”Thank you, brother.”

When he went downstairs, the smile on his face hadn’t faded, so Mu Fan gave him an extra look strangely.

”Why are you smiling so brightly? What did You Yanzhi tell you?”

”You’re the one with a radiant heart!” You Yisi was annoyed, ”It’s none of your business.”

Mu Fan hummed indifferently, but a shadow flashed in his eyes.

”Here we are.” Qi Xiu, who was walking in front, said, but stopped the two of them, ”There are people in the room.”

So, the three of them hid at the corner of the street and watched the movement in the opposite room.

After a while, the door opened, and a man in uniform came out. Bai Qing followed behind him, and the two were talking.

”That’s the uniform of the prosecutor’s assistant.” You Yisi frowned, ”This person should be here to serve the summons to appear in court.”

In other words, there are not many days left until Bai Qing’s judgment day.

Across the street from them, the assistant prosecutor and Bai Qing were also discussing this matter.

”It stands to reason that your mother has no one to take care of you, and you have applied for a special guarantee. You should not be imprisoned before the trial.” The young assistant sighed and said, ”But so many things have happened recently, it is very likely that the higher authorities will send someone Come to invite you to go back, please be ready.”

Bai Qing nodded, ”Okay.”

”Also, is your defender ready? If you are worried about insufficient funds, I can help you apply for legal aid from the Ministry of Justice.”

Bai Qing shook his head, ”I have my own plan, thank you.”

The assistant took one last look at him, with a little pity in his eyes, and nodded to him.

”The court will start in a week, please get ready.” He turned around and was about to leave.

However, everything happened so suddenly that even Bai Qing himself was not prepared. The moment the assistant prosecutor turned around, a black figure sprang out from the corner of the house and stabbed him.

”You!” Bai Qing was shocked, ”What are you doing?”

”What are you doing?” Soi Ying put away his dagger, ”I’m here because I’m worried that you’ll let him go.”

The person who came was hiding under the felt hat. It seemed that he was not taller than Bai Qing’s chest, but his swift and fierce skills just now made people dare not underestimate him.

”You killed him?” Bai Qing growled.

”Not yet.” The man in black snorted coldly, ”But it’s useless to keep him.” As he said that, he was about to make up the knife.

Bai Qing stopped him, ”He doesn’t know anything, he is innocent!”

”Innocent!” The man in black seemed to be stimulated, and suddenly pulled down his hood to reveal his face, ”Who is not innocent in this world, so what about me, who do you think I’m going to find responsible for!”

The moment he saw the face of the man in black clearly, You Yisi’s pupils shrank.

What a terrifying face that was. There are no ears, no whites of the eyes, and strange scales on the hands. The whole person looks full of strange disobedience.

Is this what Luo Xing said, a person who mutated after being irradiated?

He was so frightened at this moment that he didn’t notice that Mu Fan’s hand trembled the moment he saw the face of the man in black.

His Royal Highness took a deep breath slowly, with a hint of coldness on the corner of his mouth.
