The system takes me to fly

Chapter 39 Xu Ji's Dilemma

After listening to Yan Lao’s story that day, when Xu Yi turned back to be alone, she sat silently and thought for a long time.

He felt that since he got the 1388 system, he has not been complacent or complacent. He has moved the bricks for three months honestly. Suddenly woke up.

If it wasn’t for drifting, why didn’t he make preparations in advance, why didn’t he consider the seriousness of the matter, instead he kept making excuses and didn’t reflect on his own mistakes.

If it hadn’t been for Mr. Xiao trying to delay Xu Yi for a month, he would not have been able to wait for Yan Lao’s arrival. At that time, no one would know where he would be. It’s not invincible, it’s still subject to injury, even death.

”It seems that intelligence is not enough.”

Realizing once again that she is just an ordinary person with an average IQ, Xu Yi propped up her chin with emotion.

Xu Yi, whose IQ reached 8.5, has turned into a salted fish again. He just wants to lie under a big tree and read a book every day, and spend his days leisurely.

He also had the same personality when he was young, lazy like a big fat cat who only wanted to eat small dried fish. At that time, his adoptive mother often joked that he might be too lazy to chase after someone he liked.

If it weren’t for the indifference she received from her grandparents after her adoptive parents left, Xu Yi wouldn’t have had to work part-time to save for her tuition.

The world is tricky, and Xu Yi never thought that he would have an existence like a system that goes against science.

If you want to live a decent life, you still have to work hard.

What to do if you have insufficient intelligence?Try Harder!
It will be Laba in a few days. Chef Fan and the second chef are discussing what ingredients to use to make Laba porridge, and how many things need to be made.

Local residents generally eat eight-treasure porridge, which is made from mung beans, red beans, kidney beans, black beans, lotus seeds, longan, black glutinous rice, and rice. The boiled eight-treasure porridge is very sweet, and the ingredients are boiled away, and it is easy to eat a bowl. It is especially suitable for the elderly and children to eat, nourishing the stomach and strengthening the spleen.

Originally, the chefs only need to do the same, but considering that the two bosses are not locals, Second Chef Mi proposed to make more kinds for the big boss, second boss and other diners to choose from, so as to avoid monotonous dishes.

Second Chef Mai suggested that he could buy Laba Garlic to go with the porridge, and the three Xiaozhuo also made their own ideas.

Finally, the five kinds of Laba porridge were written down on paper and delivered to Xu Yi.

”Laba Garlic...”

People from her parents eat Laba garlic, and Xu Yi, as a person who doesn’t like garlic, recalls the fear of being dominated by Laba garlic when she was young.

”Hahahahaha.”

Zhang Meng laughed very happily, but he knew that Xu Yi’s most hated food was garlic, whether it was raw garlic, sweet garlic or Laba garlic, when he occasionally ate it, he always had a suspicious expression on his life.

The laughter filled his ears like a devil’s voice, Xu Yi cast a resentful glance at Zhang Meng, and stopped caring about him.

”It’s all right, let’s launch these five kinds of porridge on the day of Laba. Five barrels of eight-treasure porridge are boiled, and the other two barrels are enough.”

Considering the flow of people and the fact that Xu Ji is launching breakfast food for the first time, after Xu Yi’s estimation, he decides the amount of food that will be sold when the doors open that day.

As for the issue of not selling enough, Xu Yi doesn’t think about it. Anyway, they have a lot of shop assistants in Xu Ji, and if they can’t sell it, they can pack ten bowls for each person and take it home, which is regarded as employee benefits.

Time flies, after these days through the release of the official account and the leaflets posted in the store, the diners all know that Xu Ji will sell breakfast, and some diners said that even if they don’t drink the Laba porridge made by their mothers, they still want to try Xu Ji This kind of porridge, this kind of spirit is really moving, but I don’t know what kind of devastation this warrior will experience when his mother finds out about it.

Laba, this day is a rare good weather, with the sun and no wind, people in Maodong put on all kinds of warm clothes and go out for a walk. Xu Ji opened the door early to welcome the early customers.

”Hehe, it’s not snowing, but the weather forecast reported a little snow today.”

Zhang Meng was wearing artificial leather with his hands in his pockets, and the group welcomed the guests who entered the store to drink porridge at the door.

”Did you read it wrong, it said that there was light snow at night.”

Xu Yi, who was not afraid of the cold, wore a thin silk coat, looked at the opposite side and responded to Zhang Meng’s words casually, with an absent-minded look.

Zhang Meng looked over together, and found that there was an inflatable door, and there were many colorful strips and colored papers pasted there, obviously preheating before the opening.

”Hey, is this the opening opposite? Seeing that they have been renovating for so long, it can be regarded as finished.”

Remembering that he had never seen a flyer in Huike Street, Zhang Meng wondered.

”Why haven’t I seen them have any publicity, and they don’t distribute leaflets when they open. Will there be business like this?”

”Have.”

Xu Yi opened his mouth with excellent eyesight.

From the exit of the street, a group of motorcades were driving slowly towards this side. When the car got closer, they discovered that not only three shop fronts were bought across the street, but five shops were bought as a row, and the other two were A store was converted into a parking space.

”I’ll go, local tyrant! Turning the store into a parking lot is really rich and willful.”

Zhang Meng was shocked. They were still renting a store, even though he and Lao Xu had discussed purchasing the store.

”Go back first!”

The two looked at the bustling place for a while, then Xu Yi turned to He Zhang Meng and went back to the shop.He had a premonition that the restaurant seemed not to be well received.

Peak traffic during lunch.

”Hey, have you heard? The newly opened restaurant this morning has very low prices on the menu.”

A customer talked about the restaurant across the street.

”I looked at it when I was passing by, and it was very cheap, as if there was no cost.”

Customers who have seen the price said that, for example, in a general store, a plate of fried shredded potatoes costs about 10 yuan, but the price in the opposite store is actually [-] yuan a plate.

”Ah! It’s so cheap, isn’t it made from broken ingredients?”

The price is too low, even the opening discount is a bit weird.

”That’s right, we don’t feel at ease after eating such a shop, we dare not go there.”

This sentence expressed the feelings of other guests. Although the price was cheap, they did not dare to go there.

”Old Xu, what do you think is going on?”

When Zhang Meng learned about the situation, he also felt that the restaurant opposite seemed to be aimed at them.

”Wait and see.” Temporarily unable to think of any solution, Xu Yi could only say this, first to see what the situation on the other side was like.

After all, the other party hasn’t revealed their real intention to come, so they can only wait.

A week later, the restaurant still didn’t change the price, so Xu Yi knew what the restaurant was planning.

That is to fight price wars, malicious competition, and disrupt the existing market.

The restaurant on the opposite side is called Zhangjia Restaurant. The store is large and wide, and there is a parking lot. The price is so low that it looks like a big discount. The price of the menu has not been changed for a week, and even a cup of hot drink is given away. With such a cheap price, even Xu Ji had quite a few customers come over to try it.

Of course, some people suspect that Zhang’s restaurant is shoddy, or that it uses rotten ingredients to make dishes and sell them to customers, so some people want to go to the back kitchen to peek. This restaurant actually asked people to check it out aboveboard, as if they were not afraid of others looking at it.

The back kitchen of his house is larger than Xu Yi’s first floor, covering an area of about 90 square meters. The vegetables, fruits and raw meat inside are all placed on shelves, and the cleaning of vegetables is done by machines. Ingredients such as potatoes are rinsed clean with an adjusted high-pressure water gun.

Each chef is equipped with at least five helpers. The blower blows the fire, and the dishes are served very fast. The restaurant is crowded with an endless stream of customers, and the price is so low that it is doubtful that every dish sold , Zhang’s restaurant will lose half of the price.

”Lao Xu, Lao Xu! What should we do?”

Zhang Meng was a little anxious. Xu Ji used to be full every day. The theme of their gourmet restaurant was low prices and small profits but quick turnover.

Now, there is a restaurant with a lower price than his, but it has attracted many of Xu Ji’s original customers. Since the opening of the Zhang’s restaurant over there, Xu Ji has basically seen nothing. New customers came, and even the tourists diverted from the food street were attracted by the affordable price of his restaurant.

”If this goes on, Xu Ji will have no one left.”

The business in the store is not very good now, Xu Yi is also a little worried.

After all, he was still counting on the gourmet store to make more money, which would be used to buy medical books that were unique in the future.

”Otherwise, shall we lower the price together?”

Zhang Meng came up with an idea in a daze, but lost his sense for a while.

”We can’t keep lowering the price. The rent of the store and the wages of the employees will lose money if they go down. With the funds we have now, we can’t afford it.”

Xu Yi vetoed this idea, since they have a small family business, they can’t afford such consumption.

”Don’t worry, I’ll find someone to check the details of this restaurant.”

Xu Yi thought that among the patients he treated during this period, it seemed that some of them were related to the catering industry. Xu Yi dug out the business cards from the drawer that the families of the patients had given him when he was treating the disease, and called the patient to make an appointment. one side.

……

”Mr. Xu, I heard about you.”

When we met, Mr. Qi, the patient’s family member, said.

When he received the call, Mr. Qi was very pleasantly surprised. He had always wanted to repay Xu Yi for saving his lover, but unfortunately there was no chance to help after waiting for a long time.

”The Zhang family restaurant is now managed by the second young master of the Zhang family. I don’t know how Mr. Xu offended him.”

”My friend said that because Mr. Xu has a big man named Yan Lao behind him, most people will save face and will not make random excuses to close the door for rectification. But if someone wages a price war against you regardless of cost, such a thing Even Yan Lao is not easy to manage.”

Mr. Qi told him everything he said he knew, and asked Xu Yi if he needed his help.

”I don’t say anything else, it’s still possible to take over this battlefield for Mr. Xu.”

”Thank you, Mr. Qi, for the information. I will handle the rest by myself...”

Politely declining Mr. Qi’s proposal, Xu Yi felt that this was enough.

Knowing about Zhang’s restaurant and where the restrictions are, Xu Yi naturally knows how to deal with it.
