The system takes me to fly

Chapter 7 Delicious Steamed Chicken

”Hey! Look at your ugly face, why should I lie to you?”

The good brother who snatches food dares to doubt his own craftsmanship, Xu Yi sees that the other party has known him for many years and let him go for the time being, if the ingredients are not finished, Xu Yi will show his skills now to open Zhang Meng’s eyes .

The scene at this time is full of visual sense, as if Zhang Meng also looked suspicious many months ago, and then he was quickly slapped in the face.

”Otherwise, would you make another copy?” Zhang Meng asked in an uncertain tone.

”Well, it seems that if you don’t show your hand today, you don’t know how many eyes Prince Ma has.”

Xu Yi rolled up his sleeves while talking. Anyway, because of Zhang Meng’s joining just now, he didn’t enjoy the meal, and he wanted to make another delicious dish. Of course, the portion this time must be - enough!

I bought freshly slaughtered roosters from the vegetable market. They were not too big or too small. They weighed about a catty. Xu Yi bought three of them to eat enough. The appetites of two big men are huge, and they will definitely be able to eat. Can eat.

The first is to boil water, soak the three little roosters in hot water, and then use tweezers to pull out the remaining fine fluff on the chicken skin, probably because of the acquisition of the master chef’s experience fragments, Xu Yi’s action of handling the ingredients is called clean and neat, Sprinkle with water to finish processing the ingredients.

After processing, first gouged out the chicken butt, put a few quail eggs in the cleaned chicken belly, and marinated the whole chicken in the prepared sauce for 20 minutes to taste.

Then, start to wash the Tricholoma, Lentinus edodes, Coprinus comatus, Pleurotus eryngii, Cordyceps flower, etc. bought together, slice them and put them into the pot to cook the mushroom soup in order.

The mushroom soup only needs to be boiled with some salt to bring out the umami taste. Put the three whole chickens in the steamer and put them on the soup pot. Since the chickens are used, it only needs to be steamed for 15 minutes on high heat.

Steamed with the umami flavor of mushroom soup, the chicken meat is tender, smooth, and extremely fragrant and delicious.

”How can it be so delicious?!”

Xu Yi lifted the lid of the pot, and the fresh aroma of the steamed chicken immediately spread throughout the kitchen. Zhang Meng, who got a portion of the steamed chicken, took a bite of the chicken, and immediately buried himself in the meaty chicken legs, and the slightly hot chicken burst. The taste is bursting in the mouth, so fresh that people are fascinated, and they don’t know where to go when they are intoxicated with delicious food. Even the quail eggs in the chicken stomach are fresh and sweet, and they can’t stop chewing.

In a daze, the whole chicken was eaten like this.

Zhang Meng, who hadn’t eaten enough, was eager to grab the remaining plate of steamed chicken, but Xu Yi took it away and ate it first.

”Old Xu! Show mercy!”

It was another fierce food competition, Zhang Meng only ate one chicken leg and half of the chicken rack, and the rest went into Xu Yi’s belly.

Eating delicious food makes people feel happy. Xu Yi and Zhang Meng collapsed comfortably. They were so lazy that they didn’t want to move anymore. They just wanted to be a salted fish and chat.

”Old Xu, I was so busy eating that I forgot to ask, where did you get this skill? This taste is really delicious.”

Zhang Meng remembered that Xu Yi’s cooking skills were not so good in the past.

Xu Yi was too lazy to think of excuses, and always made up excuses without telling Mengzi that he was tired, so he half-truthfully said: ”The recipes I got from other places are delicious if I follow them.”

”Tsk tsk, good luck buddy, I’m afraid you didn’t get it from the descendants of the royal chef?”

Aftertasting the deliciousness of the steamed chicken and the tenderness of the tofu, Zhang Meng was greedy even after eating them, and swallowed his saliva while talking.

”Look at your starving ghost, your saliva is dripping.”

Xu Yi’s words made Zhang Meng wipe his chin subconsciously, and he didn’t realize that he was cheated before he wiped it, which made Xu Yi very happy.

”Wow! I treat you as a brother, but you don’t like me. If you don’t pay me a steamed chicken, then I won’t think about brother, I will bypass you!”

Zhang Meng rushed over to fight with Xu Yi who was laughing, insisting that Xu Yi agree to the compensation terms.

Xu Yi, who had improved a lot in strength, released the water, pretending to be defeated, and promised to make the steamed chicken that Mengzi craved again. Anyway, Xu Yi would eat it, and Zhang Meng couldn’t catch him.

Since I ate a delicious meal that day, Xu Yi added another meal every one or two days. The tofu is soft and smooth, and the chicken is tender and mellow. After eating for more than half a month, I don’t feel tired.

On the contrary, because Xu Yi made more of these two recipes, his craftsmanship became more and more exquisite, and he approached the best taste in the chef’s heart.

”I always feel like I don’t remember something?”

After eating tofu and chicken for half a month, Xu Yi stroked her fleshy chin and thought about it.

”What did you forget? 1388 came out to speak.”

Xu Yi summoned 1388, which had a slightly weak sense of existence, and immersed himself in the delicious food, Xu Yi almost forgot that there was this system creature.

【…】

1388 has nothing to say.

”What’s the matter, are you still in a mood?”

[No, because the host has not issued instructions for a long time, the 1388 voice function is automatically turned off in order to save energy consumption. 】

1388 sighed very humanely. It really thinks that human beings are so complicated. For the sake of delicious food, even the system can be left aside and ignored.

”I can’t do anything about it. The system doesn’t give you the task, and you say that I don’t have enough authority. What use do I need you for?”

Speaking of Xu Yi and Qi, since he was bound, he has only seen one temporary mission, and a hidden mission completed in a daze, other than that, he has never seen the shadow of the mission.

”I said, why don’t you learn from other people’s systems? There is a small task in three days, a big task in seven days, and a difficult main line. There are many rewards and benefits.”

”I can’t help it. I have top-level delicacies and don’t cook more to eat by myself. Am I stupid?”

Xu Yi teased 1388 for a while, in fact, it was just talking, if the system he bound was really like the one in the novel, then he must try his best to unbind it, otherwise he would feel tired after thinking about it panic.

[The host please keep your feet on the ground, face the reality, and don’t indulge too much in fantasy, it’s unrealistic. 】

”As a system that can travel through time and space, you talk to me about reality?”

Xu Yi clicked his tongue, the existence of the system obviously transcended reality.

[The system is scientific. 】

1388’s rebuttal was unusually serious.

”Ha ha.”

Ending the short conversation with a modal particle with rich connotations, 1388 was once again sidelined by Xu Yi.

Is it because the tofu with garlic sprouts is no longer fragrant?Or is the whole chicken steamed in mushroom soup no longer fresh? He talked to a systematic creature who doesn’t know the taste of food, but it can’t experience it in person.

Xu Yi put the system behind her and geared up to cook new dishes.

”So I forgot this.”

Thinking of the third gold medal dish, Xu Yi slapped his forehead suddenly.

Thinking of the five-figure money in the bank card, I rushed to the market boss to buy half a catty of top-quality raw beef and a catty of fresh prawns. The beef was cut into thin slices, and the prawns were discarded. Use the head and tail, peel off the shell and only take the shrimp meat for later use.

Recalling the delicacy of the golden dish in memory, Xu Yi hummed a little tune with anticipation.
