The system takes me to fly

Chapter 10 Becoming an Internet Celebrity Gourmet

Silent all night.

The next morning, Zhang Meng, who couldn’t get out of bed, had to call the company to ask for leave for the whole day.

”Old Xu, why don’t we invite a chef with good knife skills to help you?”

After getting the cart back from the food court, Zhang Meng started the conversation with a deep groan while eating the sliced shrimp meat roll that Xu Yi had already made.

”Well, this can be.”

Xu Yi found out that Zhang Meng’s talent might be in business. Yesterday Zhang Meng had already estimated the shortage of food ingredients, so he proposed to increase the quantity. After thinking about it carefully, he really should hire a helper to help.

Yesterday, if someone helped Xu Yi marinate the whole chicken in advance, and cut the tofu into small pieces according to a pot of two catties and put it aside for later use, it would not only save a lot of time, but also let Xu Yi It means that you only need to control stewing and steaming special dishes, so that customers will not be anxious.

”Yesterday, I found out that there is only one double-burner stove, and the speed of cooking is not enough. Today, I need to order a single-burner stove with a strong fire, and there are steaming compartments that can be stacked to make mushroom soup steamed chicken.”

Xu Yi deletes, deletes, deletes, and writes down the missing things on the phone. The rush last night let them know their own shortcomings, and if they find the shortcomings and correct them, they can make their food stall go further.

”In order to prevent insufficient umami, the steamed chickens don’t need to be stacked too high. Just set up two more steaming compartments. Fifteen chickens will be cooked at a time, which is estimated to be able to catch up with the speed of customers queuing up.”

In terms of cooking skills, Xu Yi said that the steamed chicken is already cooked and cannot be cooked any more. I have calculated that the mushroom soup needed can be doubled. For tofu, yesterday it was 30 yuan per catty and later it was 80 catties per plate Five boards of tofu totaled 100 catties, and Xu Yi added another [-] catties to make a total of [-] catties.

”As for the beef slices and shrimp...”

For the sake of the freshness of the ingredients and food safety, Xu Yi and Zhang Meng, who has a keen business intuition, discussed carefully about the shrimp rolls that cannot be marinated to prolong the freshness. In the end, they decided to add only ten plates of shrimp rolls.

”Ice cubes can also keep fresh for about an hour, otherwise the ingredients will easily deteriorate, and customers will suffer if they eat it badly. Moreover, our specialty food stall also needs a finale dish with a minimum portion limit of one serving per person.”

What Zhang Meng said touched Xu Yi’s heart. Cooking with spoiled ingredients was an unbearable mistake for Xu Yi, who had obtained the pieces of Master Chef’s experience. That’s why he only prepared so few gold medal dishes. roll.

The preparations that need to be prepared and the things that need to be customized are also being rushed. Zhang Meng, who took a day off, is fearless. Helped to bring back to the residence.

That night, the two of them, who had slept all afternoon, pushed the cart to their stalls. As a result, when they arrived at the food street, they were stunned by the crowd on the third floor and the third floor there.

”Oh, I’m going! There are too many people?!”

Just marveling at the astonishing speed of personnel turnover, Zhang Meng couldn’t help but grimace.

Because, their snack cart can’t squeeze in!
”Hey, everyone, let’s make way, sorry, please make way, let’s go first.”

Zhang Meng opened the way ahead to separate the crowd, and while apologizing, he led the car and squeezed in with difficulty. It took so long in such a short road.

Xu Yi felt strange about the scene in front of him. Even though it was only less than six o’clock in the evening, there were so many people.

Shouting and apologizing all the way, it took a while before I pushed the trolley to the divided booth with difficulty, and brought out all the ingredients that could be used.

”Finally we’re here, there are so many people, it’s so hot that my forehead is sweating.” Zhang Meng said to Xu Yi, wiping away the sweat from the crowded crowd.

”I don’t know what’s going on. Could it be that the street managers of the food street are going to hold a food festival?”

”It’s possible, but we don’t seem to have received a notice from the administrator.”

Xu Yi wiped the pot, and worked hard with Zhang Meng, talking about the discussion about the crowd.

After the two of them had prepared all the ingredients and kitchen utensils that should be prepared, when they looked up, they were suddenly dumbfounded.

There are more people around their booth than last night!

”Hanhan, look, it’s really them.” Among the closest people, a little girl wearing a T-shirt with a cute pattern confirmed Xu Yi and them, and said happily with her best friend.

”The food anchor said that the food at this stall is delicious.” The little girlfriend is also very happy. She and Hanhan are both food lovers. Most of the Internet celebrity food that has appeared, they have tried. .

”Boss, we want two wang tofu, one steamed chicken and two shrimp rolls!”

Hanhan pulled her little best friend to surpass others and ranked first with her agile movements.

”Okay, two tofu, one chicken and two shrimp rolls.”

Although surprised by the large number of people, it is important to greet the customers. Xu Yi immediately turned on the fire and started the three stoves. Each of the three stoves arranged the ingredients to be steamed and stewed. confirm.

”It’s so fragrant, even more fragrant than what the host said!”

As soon as the Wang Tofu came out, the incomparable aroma filled the sky. Hanhan and her little girlfriends were intoxicated by the strong aroma of the garlic Wang Tofu and did not want to wake up. Others nearby couldn’t wait to taste how delicious such fragrant tofu is. .

The long-awaited food is in hand, the two little girls step aside, and start to try the fragrant tofu. The holes of the old tofu are filled with garlic fragrance, and the slightly blanched tofu is mixed with the aroma of oil. Chew, bite and slide into the esophagus with a light sip, as if it melts in the mouth.

”Wow! It’s really delicious!”

”Yeah! It’s delicious! Tofu is smoother than pudding.”

The little girl excitedly dug two mouthfuls of Wang tofu with a small spoon, and even ate the garlic sprouts that she didn’t like very much on weekdays. Her little girlfriend did not give up, and the two of them almost finished a serving of tofu at the same time.

Then the little girl ate steamed chicken and shrimp rolls with her girlfriends, and was completely captivated by the tender and smooth tofu, chicken, and shelled beef and shrimp, and became the first two loyal fans of the special food stand with excitement.

I also watched the other guests of the food anchor, and they were so greedy that they were so addicted to delicious food that they swallowed their mouths. They stared at Chef Xu Yi’s direction, worried that the speed of the queue in front of them was really too slow!
Most of the guests who were close were those who hadn’t eaten last night, and the rest, except for the two or three kittens who joined in the fun, were all because of curiosity about how delicious the tofu was in the mouth of Qi Qi, a local gourmet anchor. , There are still a steady stream of food lovers coming here.

Tonight, the traffic of specialty food stalls has risen to a new height.
