The system takes me to fly

Chapter 18 The Unforgettable First Encounter

”Old Xu, where did you buy those two gadgets you gave me?”

Zhang Meng ate all the three dishes and one meal with his head down. He leaned back on the chair, stretched out his belly, stretched out his limbs and sighed. Feeling exhausted, he stretched out his hand to rub his overeating stomach and asked.

”Why, those two little things don’t work?”

He hadn’t done any verification, and Xu Yi didn’t know how the store props would work for people other than those who were not bound to the system. Hearing Mengzi’s words, he asked a rhetorical question.

”Hey.” Zhang Meng smiled without saying a word.

”What are you laughing at, tell me quickly.”

There was no answer, and because Zhang Meng’s laughter was too silly, Xu Yi couldn’t help urging him to give the answer quickly.

“Exceptionally, extremely useful!”

”It’s just embarrassing to use. For a big man, it’s okay to swing a yo-yo in your hand, but the ribbon is a bit...”

Miserable.

”Cough! Cough!”

Xu Yi also knew that he was a little unkind, and made Mengzi a big man swinging a ribbon like a cheerleader. He had personally experienced that kind of embarrassment, so he was deeply touched by Mengzi’s experience.

”Then... since I’m back, let me use it when I’m in the store.”

For some reason, Xu Yi suddenly felt desolate. When there are products in the store that can replace ribbons and yo-yos, he will definitely buy them, no matter how expensive the price is!

”Old Xu, what do you mean—you still want to go out?” Zhang Meng turned out the two props and handed them to Xu Yi, and suddenly realized the meaning of his words. I can only eat [-]% of the craftsmanship of Chef Fan and the others, and I feel a little bit desolate.

The two buddies at this time felt unexpectedly the same, and they really deserved to be good brothers who have been classmates for four years.

”Some things are still waiting for me to do.” Same as before, Xu Yi, who didn’t want to hide or deceive Mengzi, just said this sentence.

”I just want to work hard for you, guarding the shop.”

”Hey, what kind words do my brothers say, the gourmet restaurant still has my heart and soul in it. My ideal is to expand the scale, open more branches, and become a benchmark in the catering industry!”

Zhang Meng was taken aback by Xu Yi’s words, and then angrily and funnyly said the ideal he had always had in his heart.

Since the opening of the gourmet restaurant, Zhang Meng has had the ambition to make Xu Ji’s specialty food a catering giant.

”Hehe, okay Mengzi, the dream is really not small, then I will wait for the day when you reach the pinnacle of life and marry a wealthy Bai Fumei.”

No matter what, my brother’s dream still needs to be supported, Xu Yi thought that at some point he would be able to draw the master chef’s experience fragments again, and add a few more signature dishes to the store.

”Also, marry Bai Fumei together, don’t forget, Xu Ji’s specialty food is your business, don’t always be a shopkeeper.”

Unable to roll his eyes, Zhang Meng reminded Xu Yi that he couldn’t go away without seeing anyone for half a month like this time.

”Haha, let’s talk again, you should rest first, the peak passenger flow is about to arrive, I will go to the back kitchen to get busy.”

Speaking of this, Xu Yi left the words with a guilty conscience, and slipped away without waiting for Zhang Meng to react.

In order to compensate those patronizing customers, Xu Yi decided to stay in the store for a week in a row. When cooking, the salt in the small blue bottle was really hard to scatter like the introduction.

Xu Yi used it non-stop when he was in charge of the kitchen, but the little blue bottle turned out to be as domineering as its name, the super invincible little blue bottle with unlimited salt, really domineering.

in the hall.

”Brother, are you coming too?” A chubby diner greeted an acquaintance.

”Haha, they’re all here. It’s rare for Boss Xu to take extra time to take care of his business.”

”That’s right, take care of Boss Xu’s business.”

The two of them smiled tacitly, everyone is a foodie, wherever the food is, they will be there.

These customers were very satisfied with what they ate during these seven days. Other well-informed customers came here after hearing the news. eat enough.

Otherwise, you can only know how to eat delicious food two days a week on the weekends.

This day is the last day for Xu Yi to compensate customers in the store. The customers who should have eaten have already eaten enough. Everyone is very regretful that they will not be able to eat such delicious food tomorrow, and they will have to wait another five days for the weekend to eat. superior.

Hmm - maybe you won’t be able to eat it on weekends, because Boss Xu will run around and release their pigeons cruelly.

”Mr. Xiao, you are here. Today is later than usual, and the good seats have been taken up by other customers.” The lobby staff warmly greeted the guests.

”Just find a quiet corner. It’s a small job.” Mr. Xiao’s whole body was full of books, and his gestures were even more extraordinary.

”The old man is too polite, please return this way.”

This old man surnamed Xiao came here every day for the past six days, and the dishes he ordered were ordered in order. For example, one day he had tofu with garlic sprouts, the next day he ordered steamed chicken with mushroom soup, and the third day he ordered beef slices. Shrimp rolls.

The old man really knows how to eat. He has ordered two rounds of special delicacies in the store in six days.

After he was seated, someone who knew him asked him, ”Old man, what would you like to order today?”

The old gentleman said with a smile: ”Today, I ordered all three dishes.”

”Order all, can the old man eat it?”

”It’s okay, just let my daughter come over to taste the food together today.”

Old Mr. Xiao had a kind smile on his ruddy face. Perhaps every father who loves his daughter has such a loving smile.

”Look at your face, my daughter should be nearly 30 years old this year.” Said a person who can read people’s faces and ages.

”Haha, I was wrong, my daughter was born late, and his brother is already 30 this year.”

The amused old gentleman laughed and was about to continue talking about his children when the cell phone in his pocket rang.

”Hey, Yanyan, hey, it’s just to the east of the food street, right next to Huike Street, you can see it after a few steps, yes, it’s Xuji’s special food.”

After hanging up the phone, the old gentleman got up from his seat in high spirits, and walked to the door with ease to welcome his daughter.

”dad.”

Not long after, no one heard the voice first, and a voice with a calm and gentle tone called the old gentleman. The person sitting at the door who heard it thought that the owner of the voice must be a girl with a good personality.

Sure enough, I saw old Mr. Xiao walking in front, half a step behind him. The girl looks as beautiful and charming as a lady, and the most indescribable is the bookish atmosphere around her. I am afraid that only a scholarly family can raise such a girl. A gentle and poetic woman.

’Plop’, ’plop’.

Because the old man came late and all the dishes from the customers in front were ready, after Xu Yi made Wang Tofu, he just brought the wooden plate to serve the guests on a whim, but unexpectedly, he just turned from the back kitchen into the hall , just saw such a beautiful scenery that made his heart beat like a drum.

The direct sunlight shines into the store, and the gentle woman bathes in the warm sun, like an elf descended from the world.

Staring intently, until the distance between the woman and him shortened, and Mr. Xiao sat down together, Xu Yi just woke up like a dream.
