The system takes me to fly

Chapter 38 The old man's teaching

In the following days, Xu Yi cured all the vegetative patients in the special ward.

Not to mention how much the family members are grateful to him, just being friends with Zheng Laoxi and the old two Taishan Beidou in the field of traditional Chinese medicine is something worth answering.

This is also the reason why Yan Lao invited the two of them to see Xu Yi’s treatment, he wanted to give Xu Yiduo some more bargaining chips.

According to Mr. Yan’s experience, when doing things, one should slowly figure it out, and steadily rise step by step, so that you won’t be questioned or even sought out by others because of sudden bursts of strange abilities.

If Mr. Yan knew that Xu Yi had such ability at the beginning. He will first enhance Xu Yi’s reputation, and then use this special ability after people in the medical industry are familiar with Xu Yi’s name. In this way, adding abilities to the reputation will complement each other.

”Old man, thank you for everything you have done for me.”

During the treatment, the family members of the patients thanked Xu Yi excitedly, and some even promised on the spot that they would pave the way for Xu Yi in the future.

After this, Xu Yi found out that not only Mr. Zheng and Mr. Xi, but the old man also made other arrangements for him.

”Since I said I would protect you, of course I have to take some practical actions.”

The old man said frankly.

He did this not only to protect Xu Yi, but also because he didn’t want the fresh blood of Chinese medicine to perish halfway, or disappear from the crowd.

Nowadays, Chinese medicine is in decline, and there are obvious faults. Many young people no longer study Chinese medicine.Except for the name of a Chinese medicine doctor, it is actually almost the same as a Western medicine. They use medical equipment to examine patients, and they don’t even have to look, smell and ask.

Mr. Yan doesn’t want to wait for these old guys to leave, and there will be no successors in Chinese medicine, and it will become like those lost skills, otherwise he won’t feel at ease when he leaves.

”Then the old man, will I still treat those patients?”

Xu Yi is very motivated now, and wants to treat a few more patients, and the system tasks are still waiting.

”Let’s take a rest first. You can’t do too much at one time.”

”Don’t rush to do things, take it step by step slowly, and gradually figure it out, so that when you reach the top, you won’t have accidents because the foundation below is not solid.”

Breaking up some truths and telling Xu Yi to listen to them, what Yan Lao said were all the truths he realized from his life.

”Yeah, I see, old man.”

Listen carefully to the old man’s words, maybe other people will think that the old man is long-winded, but Xu Yi will not.Because, no one has ever told him like this, let alone the elders taught him like this.

Apart from being taught how to get along with others by the boss of the dormitory in college, Xu Yi basically never taught him how to deal with others on the road of growing up.

Holding the old man’s arm, Xu Yi unknowingly is like a junior who likes to be coquettish, sometimes pestering the old man to listen to his past stories.

”Oh, what do you want to hear? Xie Budong?”

”Old man, don’t mention Xie Budong, we can still be masters and apprentices.”

Xu Yi was embarrassed, and the old man laughed loudly as he watched.

I don’t know how his old man, who is nearly 70 years old, can make such a loud voice.

”Okay, don’t mention it.”

Skipping the doctor who studied medicine until he went crazy, Mr. Yan told Xu Yi about a patient he had treated before.

”In the past, our Chinese medicine was quite prosperous. People at that time walked slowly, not as fast as they are now.”

This fast and slow refers to the rhythm. Now is the fast-paced era. If someone walks too slowly, he will be left behind.

”The patient had a kind of sore on his knee, and the bone was rotten without the injury. In this way, the patient could only lie on the bed and could not move. Many doctors, including the old man, have visited it. Someone suggested scraping the bone Some people use the method of killing poisonous insects to solve the problem.”

”and then?”

”Later, these treatment methods were used, but the patient’s knee was still not healed, and the bones were still visible, and the rotting wound was getting bigger and bigger, just like a child’s mouth.”

Old Yan recounted while recalling.

”Is it that serious?”

The weird things made Xu Yi concentrate on listening to the lecture.

”Yes, no matter whether it is bone scraping therapy or treating insects and detoxification, they have no effect. Later, some people suggested that folk remedies can be used.”

”Finally we found a folk prescription, which is to use the pollen of a kind of flower as the main medicine. The color is like Daisy, and when it is picked, it becomes a fine powder. People at that time did not know the name of this flower. They only knew the name of this flower. Pollen can cure some strange diseases.”

”Then it looks like this pollen should work.”

Since the old man mentioned that kind of flower, Xu Yi guessed that the patient should have been cured.

”Well, that kind of pollen really healed the patient’s wound. Many doctors of Chinese medicine took turns to fight, but they lost to the pollen of a certain flower. We didn’t see any effect after almost a month of treatment, and the folk prescription just applied less than In a week, the sick man’s bones will be healed.”

”Then what is the reason for this?”

Xu Yi was curious, a group of ladies’ treatments didn’t work, but the pollen cured her.

”The old man speculates that it may be that the pollen of the flower has the function of sterilizing, reducing inflammation, relieving pain, and even promoting wound healing.”

Mr. Yan revealed the speculation he had had.

”Old man, haven’t you done any research on that kind of pollen?”

Hearing that it was just speculation, Xu Yi felt a little strange. Logically speaking, pollen has such a powerful effect that many doctors would want to use it as medicine.

”Ah! That’s all I wanted to say.”

The old man sighed.

”That flower was burned.”

”Huh? Burned?”

Xu Yi found it incredible. So why should the useful flower burn it?
”It’s because it’s so effective that it’s burned.”

”...”

Xu Yi understood why the old man wanted to tell him this story.

The old man came to warn him, when he failed to protect his ability, he must not reveal his outstanding ability.Because there will always be someone who is jealous of you and will do something to destroy you.

”Besides, those flowers are only found in one place, so after they were burned, the old man never saw them again.”

The old man sighed faintly.

He and his old friends were also very angry when they found out that the flowers had been burned, but they couldn’t find out who did it, so they could only let it go.

”unacceptable!”

Reminiscent of the previous situation, Xu Yi was very angry. The person who burned the flowers was simply harming others and benefiting himself.
