Chapter 40
[Obtain stone*70, tin ore*2, sulfur*1]

[Acquire collection experience value * 70]

The higher collection volume of the intermediate collection pick enabled Zhang Cheng to mine [-] stones at one ore resource point, greatly improving the collection efficiency.

Tin ore and sulfur are secondary resources of secondary ore, and they are also the materials Zhang Cheng needs to make the next batch of equipment.

Zhang Cheng continued to move forward, rushed to the area rich in resource points, and at the same time activated the collection active skill ’collection enhancement’.

Next, the sound of collecting in the empty Wushan mine continued to echo, resource trees were cut down one after another, and pieces of ore were dug open...

The expanded secondary backpack plus Fido’s carry-on bag has a total of 35 grid storage spaces.

This allowed Zhang Cheng to hold more supplies.

It is not so easy to collect all the materials for making M16 and baseball caps. It took Zhang Cheng more than two hours to collect all the wood, stone and hemp resources.

The rest is the material for the monster.

Animal tendons, animal claws...

At this time, the wind and cloud changed, and the originally clear sky was suddenly covered with dark clouds.

”No, it’s going to rain...”

When using firearms in rainy days, they will be damp and affect the firepower of the firearms. Zhang Cheng does not have the M16 rainforest camouflage at this time.

The torrential rain is still brewing, Zhang Cheng had better fight before the rain falls.

Several jackals were wandering in the open space not far away. Zhang Cheng filled up the bullets for Uzi and then ate a piece of roasted vegetables.

[You have eaten roasted vegetables*1, which restores 30 points of satiety and increases the damage to wild animals by 5%, lasting 300s. 】

The satiety was maintained at a high level, and Zhang Li immediately felt that his physical strength had recovered, and his body seemed to be more energetic.

After slowly approaching, Zhang Cheng suddenly launched an attack.

Bullets poured out from Uzi’s muzzle, and the trajectory of each bullet seemed to form a straight line.

Several jackals instantly identified the direction of the bullet and firmly locked on Zhang Cheng’s location.

Zhang Cheng saw a few jackals rushing towards him quickly, but he didn’t change his face, and shot while retreating.

One of the jackals was killed before they could get close to Zhang Cheng. The remaining jackals split into left and right groups and attacked Zhang Cheng at the same time with a tacit understanding.

Zhang Cheng knew the attack methods of these jackals very well. When the jackals rushed towards him, Zhang Cheng jumped back vigorously.

The jackals on both sides rushed to nothing, and they were even more annoyed, making weird whimpering noises from their throats.

Zhang Cheng took the opportunity to change the magazine, and then continued to play the kite.

The so-called kite play is a tactic commonly used by experienced survivors. It refers to survivors using dexterous footsteps and speed of action to distance themselves from their opponents and attack the target at the same time as they move.

It makes the opponent chase after him, but he can’t catch up, just like a kite being pulled by a kite string, being pulled by survivors.

A skilled survivor can use this trick to take out many opponents who are too strong to win head-on.

However, accidents such as mistakes may also occur in kite play, which requires the survivors to be skilled and skillful in their own steps or move fast enough to reduce the risk of accidents.

What Zhang Cheng is developing at this moment is the kite play.Several jackals desperately wanted to attack Zhang Cheng, but they couldn’t even touch Zhang Cheng’s trousers.

In the end, Zhang Cheng relied on his deft footsteps. The jackals were taken down without any damage.

Zhang Cheng took a breath and stepped forward to search for resources:
[Get animal claws*2]

[Get Beast Tendon*2]

Zhang Cheng’s current supply list requires twenty claws and tendons. The five jackals in front of him provide two claws and tendons, which may mean that Zhang Cheng still needs to hunt dozens more. beast.

The sky is getting darker and darker, and there seems to be an electric arc faintly passing through the dark clouds.

Zhang Cheng needs to hurry up.

On the way forward, Zhang Cheng was lucky enough to find a few resource boxes. This kind of wild resource box can only be loaded with ordinary materials, and there will be no rare props.

At the same time, this kind of material box is refreshed randomly, and the refresh time and refresh location are not fixed.

Undoubtedly, opening the material boxes can save the survivors a lot of collection time. Zhang Cheng opened several animal claws, animal tendons, and other resources in these resource boxes.

”Nine animal claws are missing... the animal tendons are six short.”

Zhang Cheng counted the items in the backpack. At this time, his backpack was almost full of various resources, and it was just about right to put the remaining animal claws and tendons in it.

Raindrops began to fall from the sky, hitting the leaves and the ground with a clattering sound.

The dark sky affected Zhang Cheng’s vision, and it was inconvenient to move.

He didn’t know how long it would take for the heavy rain to stop, but Zhang Cheng didn’t have much material left now, and he didn’t want to go back and forth again, so he still felt that it was necessary to collect all the animal claws and tendons before going back.

In a relatively dark environment, the eyesight of many wild animals is better than that of humans. Zhang Cheng sharpened his ears to carefully distinguish other sounds mixed with the sound of rain.

Passing through a wet bush, with a flash of thunder, Zhang Cheng saw clearly a corner of the supply box exposed from the grass in front of him.

The material box is too urgent for Zhang Cheng now, and Zhang Cheng has to go up to open the box subconsciously.

Suddenly Zhang Cheng’s head felt horrified, and he saw a blurry black shadow coming at a fast speed in his vision.

”what……”

Before Zhang Cheng finished speaking, he was knocked out by the black shadow as if he had been hit hard, and rolled into the bushes covered with thorns and thorns. Zhang Cheng felt tingling pain all over his body.

Zhang Cheng didn’t have the energy to care about the pain anymore, a gust of wind whizzed by his ears, and Zhang Cheng knew that the danger was still coming.

It happened that there was another thunder flash in the sky, and Zhang Cheng finally saw the monster attacking him in front of him.

It was a brown bear. The figure of the brown bear disappeared in the jungle just now. Zhang Cheng was interrupted by the supply box, and because of environmental problems, he didn’t notice that there was still danger around him.

The brown bear had already caught up, and Zhang Cheng rolled aside vigorously, ignoring the thorns under him.

Zhang Cheng could clearly feel the spikes piercing the skin of his back, arms, thighs, etc., but that was better than resisting the brown bear’s palm.

Zhang Cheng’s sneak attack just now took away nearly one-third of his blood volume, compared to the damage done to him by the thorn stab.

Zhang Cheng’s first reaction was to run away. The brown bear’s attack power was too strong, and he was not sure that he would be able to defeat this brown bear.

But soon Zhang Cheng realized that running was not enough. The brown bear must have moved faster than him. Running away was equivalent to giving up resistance and directly giving the brown bear his back.

”This ghost weather...”

Zhang Cheng cursed in his heart, if it wasn’t for the dark sky, he wouldn’t let the brown bear get so close to him.

With no other choice, Zhang Cheng had no choice but to give it a go.
