Chapter 11 Recipe: Jam

Chapter 11 Recipe: Jam

In the game, players can explore recipes by themselves, and different ingredients may make different dishes.

Of course, it is also possible that the cooking fails, which means that there is a problem with the combination of ingredients, and the food cannot be cooked.

The simplest food in the game is also the food that Zhang Cheng eats the most. It is the jam that counts silently.

This is mainly because jam is easy to make and the ingredients are readily available.

Coming to the home barbecue, Zhang Cheng put four berries into the oven.

[Whether to make food (unknown)? 】

”Yes.”

Fuel is needed to make food in the oven. Wood or hemp can be used as fuel. Zhang Cheng has put some wood into the oven in advance.

[(Unknown) In production, remaining time is 30s]

Recipes without food are always displayed as unknown, and the cooking time is also 30 seconds.

If it can be cooked successfully, the recipe of the food will be automatically unlocked, and the cooking time is set according to the recipe.

30 seconds passed,
[Ding, there is newly finished food in the oven, survivors please collect it in time]

Zhang Cheng turned on the oven,

【Get jam*1】

[Congratulations to the player for unlocking the new recipe ’Jam’]

[Jam: Restore 30 points of satiety.Ingredients: Berries*4.Proficiency level: initial test]

After four berries are made into jam, not only can the total amount of satiety recovered be more, but also there is no need to consume one berry one by one, and the reading speed of the jam is even faster than that of a single berry.

The proficiency of recipes is divided into five levels: initial test, mastery, proficiency, specialization and master. As the number of times the food is cooked increases, the player’s mastery of the recipe will gradually increase.

Different recipes have different effects of improving the level of mastery, and the number of times they need to cook is also different. There are also some players who specialize in planting and breeding in the manor to obtain ingredients, and specialize in cooking food for sale to survive.

There will be miraculous effects when the mastery of jam recipes is improved, so when Zhang Cheng sees berries in the green forest, he will never let them go.

There were more than 20 berries on Zhang Cheng’s body. After making five jams, Zhang Cheng went to the helicopter entrance and exit in the center of the camp again.

Zhang Cheng has two goals for this trip, one is to collect some resources, and the other is to find some map tasks to do.

Needless to say, the more resources, the better. Even if you can’t use them up, you can sell them in the player’s trading bank for money.

And the map mission will bring Zhang Cheng a lot of experience points and other rewards, so it is not to be missed.

After stepping on the helicopter, the hatch is closed, and the helicopter is heading towards the distance at high speed.

This time, Zhang Cheng was the only player on the helicopter, because the destination Zhang Cheng chose this time was the helicopter entrance and exit located deeper in the forest.

——It turned out that the entrance and exit were located in the outer area of the forest, which was still too far away from where Zhang Cheng was going.

Now the players are still slowly groping around the outskirts of the green forest, adapting to the sudden apocalyptic life.

So on this plane, Zhang Cheng could only sit alone in the corner.

As the flight distance increases, the arrival time also increases to twenty minutes.

Zhang Chengcheng should relax and rest. He closed his eyes and rested for a while on the way, and then simply browsed the world forum. It would be good to learn more about the world market, and maybe he could get some useful information.

In regional chat channels:
”Recruit long-term team members, a four-member team in the Green Forest, the captain has been equipped with a Mondragon rifle, who obeys the command and can advance and retreat together.”

”Buying twigs and plant stem skins, private chat with price!”

”I used up another resurrection coin, and I only have seven resurrection coins left! Don’t run around in the wild, there are monsters everywhere!”

”Where did your Mondragon rifle come from? Why haven’t I seen half of the gun until now?”

”What’s a Mondragon rifle? I saw a big guy with a Uzi submachine gun this morning!”

”I know him too! Top of the boss rankings!”

”Speaking of the boss, I got 1 infected blood and 1 special infected body gene fragment from the boss corpse, does anyone know what these two things are used for?”

”That’s right! These two things take up two spaces in my backpack, so I’ll throw them away if they’re useless!”

Seeing this, Zhang Cheng thought for a while and began to edit the information.

Winner and loser: ”Technology will recover infected blood and gene fragments. These two items are related to the fate of all players. Please be sure to actively hand them in.”

The atmosphere in the chat channel suddenly became lively.

”Isn’t the winner and loser the same boss Uzi?”

”Yes, that pit is more than I remember him for a lifetime. The output is high and the boss is attracted to me. Fortunately, I run fast. If I run a little slower, I may lose resurrection coins.”

Zhang Cheng was ashamed when he saw this, he really couldn’t be blamed, his high output would definitely attract the hatred of the boss, and the players were everywhere, no matter which direction he went, there were other players.

Speaking of which, Zhang Cheng’s back and forth to attract the boss’s hatred value actually reduced the boss’s killing rate, and the boss wasted a lot of time trying to chase and kill Zhang Cheng.

Zhang Cheng’s high output is also critical, otherwise more people will die in this war.

Zhang Cheng continued to speak in the chat channel.

Successor and Loser: ”The Science and Technology Association of the Survivors Federation has been focusing on researching infected bodies, so it has been purchasing infected blood and gene fragments for a long time. To the north of the camp is the Federation Science and Technology Association.”

”This is not just a game function, the research and development progress of the technology club is closely related to the situation of the whole world.”

”The more infected blood and gene fragments that technology can collect, the more capabilities and measures that the human camp can master to deal with infected bodies, and the safer we will be.”

”And the rewards given by technology are extremely generous, so everyone must remember to actively participate in the boss battle and hand in the infected blood and gene fragments in time.”

The science and technology association research project that Zhang Cheng mentioned is a plot that the game will not enter until a while later. Zhang Cheng spread the news in advance and also wanted to make some changes.

In the last life, the human camp could only survive in the last days. Now that I know the general direction of the game’s overall development, maybe I can give some guidance in advance so that the human camp can gain some advantages?
Like the area where Zhang Cheng was in the previous life, the first boss was abruptly killed until the third day of the game, and the players lost a lot.

After getting the infected blood and gene fragments, many players don’t know what to use. Sometimes they accidentally die in the backpack, and the items in the backpack are lost in the wild.

After Zhang Cheng finished speaking, he did not speak again. Instead, other players passed the news to each other and expressed their enthusiasm to provide research materials for the Federal Science and Technology Association.

Zhang Cheng’s guidance had a great positive effect, and some technological research and development progress of the Science and Technology Association will definitely be much faster than in the previous life.

Zhang Cheng recalled a series of research results of the Science and Technology Association in his mind, wondering what abilities he could acquire in advance.
