Chapter 1 The Global Doomsday Comes

Chapter 1 The Global Doomsday Comes
”Resurrected? And returned to this time?”

The time displayed on the phone was October 2121, 10. Zhang Cheng turned off the phone screen, and a handsome and handsome face appeared on the pitch-black screen.

Zhang Cheng saw an astonishing scene in front of him. He could only see a blue light curtain covering the sky and the sun in the distance that was constantly spreading over. High-rise buildings and urban streets were flooded by the blue light curtain.

The unknown blue light curtain is like a tide, and the most frightening thing is that there is no trace of a person where the tide passes.

But after a while, the blue tide had already covered half of the city, and people ran away screaming and driving vehicles at high speed.

A high-speed car was quickly overtaken by the blue tide, and the driver in the car disappeared instantly, leaving only one car rushing forward with inertia, knocking down the bus plate on the side of the road.

The flow of people was desperately rushing away from the blue tide, only Zhang Cheng didn’t move, just watched the blue tide spread quietly.

The blue light curtain seems to be composed of beating bytes, a series of inexplicable numbers, lines of mysterious codes...

People don’t know why the blue tide can make people disappear, and they don’t know where those people went and what their fate is now.

Only Zhang Cheng is like a bright mirror in his heart.

”It actually came back to this moment, the end of the world game has just arrived.”

This is a survival game that everyone has to participate in and have to go all out.

Zhang Cheng no longer stood still, and strode forward instead of retreating, striding towards the blue tide.

Until, Zhang Cheng’s figure suddenly disappeared into the blue light curtain.

……

There is a flower in front of my eyes, and the scenery changes.Zhang Cheng has now entered the survival game in the last days.

[Dear Survivors, welcome to the end of the world game, please complete the novice guide according to the instructions. 】

A system electronic tone sounded in Zhang Cheng’s ear, and immediately, a virtual panel was automatically opened in front of Zhang Cheng.

There is a line of information on the panel:
[In the survival of the last days, the most important thing is to collect various materials.Survivors please try to collect wood 0/10, stone 0/10 (please click below to get the collection tool)]

The novice guide that was exactly the same as the previous life gave Zhang Cheng peace of mind. In the previous life, he had struggled in the apocalypse for more than ten years, but he could not escape the end of defeat in the end.

”But it’s different now. In the last days, all the original sins are due to not being strong enough!” Zhang Cheng knew in his previous life that he had actually missed a lot of hidden tasks in the game, and regretted that many hidden achievements could not be unlocked.

Many unknown opportunities, hidden treasure chests scattered all over the world, the most appropriate talent points and career tendencies, and various recipe illustrations engraved in memory.

And... what gave Zhang Cheng the most confidence was his accumulated fighting experience over the past ten years.

There are hidden dangers everywhere in the end-of-the-day game, and some materials can only be dropped by monsters, so sometimes fighting is inevitable.

Zhang Cheng raised his arms, adapting to his body which was not yet strong - compared to his body which had been strengthened countless times in his previous life, he was indeed weak now.

Zhang Cheng quickly completed the system-mandated novice guide. Soon Zhang Cheng had passed the collection link and came to the last part of the novice guide, combat.

[There are countless monsters living in the last days, and crises are everywhere. The weapons in your hands are the ultimate hope for people to live. 】

[Survivors please click below to receive weapons and go to the mission location to complete the mission objective: kill the infected 0/4]

Zhang Cheng tapped the virtual panel with his finger and received the task weapon.

[Equipped Weapon: Worn Pistol]

[Old pistol (unrepairable)
Ammo 7/∞

Attack: 5
Weapon Firepower: :1
Special attributes: none

Special skills: none]

Seeing this, Zhang Cheng sighed a little: ”I didn’t know that I could gain combat experience here, I only knew that I could pass the mission.”

The battered pistol in his hand has only five points of attack power, but its most powerful feature is its infinite ammunition.

At this time, the survivors have not yet completed the novice guide, and the player level module has not been unlocked, so players at this time do not know their own level experience points.

In the game, you can gain combat experience by attacking monsters with weapons. Zhang Cheng in the previous life didn’t know it, but now Zhang Cheng obviously can’t waste this opportunity. He is going to use the characteristics of infinite bullets of the old pistol to brush a wave here. Experience.

After completing the novice guide, there will be no such good things. At that time, the guns will have to be built by themselves, the ammunition will need to be replenished by consuming materials, and the maintenance of weapons will also consume a lot of money.

Although Zhang Cheng’s level module has not been released at this time, Zhang Cheng knows that the combat experience he has obtained now will be accumulated, and it will be automatically calculated when the level module is opened.

This little trick was only understood by the players after discussing with each other after completing the novice guide in the previous life, but there was no chance for a second novice guide, and the novice pistol was never seen again.

Following the guidance of the task navigation, Zhang Cheng walked forward holding an old pistol.

Ahead was a canyon with narrow passages. Zhang Cheng stood on one side of the mountain wall, observing the infected people below.

The goal of Zhang Cheng’s mission is to kill four infected people. Zhang Cheng now occupies a geographically high position. These infected people are all the lowest-level infected people, and they are incapable of attacking Zhang Cheng on the mountain wall.

Zhang Cheng only needs to fire a few shots with the old pistol in his hand, and he can successfully complete this task. As long as he doesn’t kill himself, there is no risk factor in the process.

Zhang Cheng raised the pistol in his hand, aiming at an infected person far below.

boom!
The violent gunshots instantly attracted the attention of all the infected people in the canyon. Immediately, all the infected people let out a low growl and moved towards the location where the gunshots came out.

At least [-] or [-] infected people rushed in together. They were covered with ragged pieces of rags. Maybe they were ordinary humans before.

But the sharp fangs in their mouths and the long claws on their palms all indicate that some kind of change has taken place in their bodies.

The infected people gathered at Zhang Cheng’s feet, looking crazy, saliva dripping from the corners of their mouths, waving their sharp claws and hitting the rocks, as if they were going to hollow out the rocks.

If the player’s psychological quality is not good, at this time, I am afraid that he will be so frightened by this scene that his legs are weak, and it is possible to accidentally fall down.

Zhang Cheng’s mood was as calm as water, holding the handle of the gun firmly with both hands, and shooting at the infected person below one after another.

If someone is watching from the side, they will find that Zhang Cheng seems to have deliberately avoided the infected person’s head and other vital parts, but almost every shot can accurately hit the infected person’s limbs.

Zhang Cheng did it on purpose. If he wanted to, he could hit the heads of these infected people with precision. Judging from the weak blood volume of these low-level infected people, they might be killed with one shot.

But Zhang Cheng didn’t want to complete the task so quickly. He seemed to see that every time he fired a shot, a line of small words would float above his head: Combat experience +1.
