Chapter 14 Armor: Animal Hide Vest

Chapter 14 Armor: Animal Hide Vest

Zhang Cheng came to the place he cared about most, reinforced products.

There are weapon strengthening materials and armor strengthening materials in the strengthening products at this time, and Zhang Cheng is here to buy weapon strengthening materials.

Zhang Cheng didn’t need to think about it, these weapon strengthening materials should be the immediate rewards given by the players after killing the boss.

As well as critical strike rewards, hidden treasure chests and other places.

The world is so big, there are always survivor camps that can defeat the boss.

Now the players don’t even know what the reinforcement materials are for. Maybe they know it’s useful, but it doesn’t help them now, and they happen to be short of money right now.

So simply cash out the strengthening materials in time, exchange some materials and materials, and build equipment to strengthen themselves.

There are more than 800 weapon strengthening materials in the trading bank now, and the minimum price is [-] alliance points.

Zhang Cheng knew that it would not be long before the price of reinforcement materials would rise rapidly, reaching an average price of around [-].

After upgrading the collection and strengthening skill before, Zhang Cheng now only has 898 alliance points left.
After purchasing the weapon enhancement material with the lowest price, Zhang Cheng withdrew from the player trading business.

[Accessory: gun stock, level 1, upgrade needs to consume weapon strengthening material*1]

[Are you sure to upgrade the buttstock? 】

”Confirm.” Zhang Cheng has nothing to hesitate.

The strengthening materials required for each upgrade of an accessory are doubled. Level 1 requires 1 strengthening material, level 2 requires two, level 3 requires four, and so on.

Therefore, the level of accessories in the early stage is relatively easy to upgrade, and it really takes a long time to accumulate to upgrade once the level of accessories is high.

[Accessory: gun stock, level 2, attack power +2]

With a little more attack power, Zhang Cheng now has 23 attack power with the uzi in hand.

There are still two map assistance tasks that have not been completed. Zhang Cheng is going to complete the tasks first, and then rush home with a backpack of supplies.

One task is to make a bandage. This task is simple. Making the bandage requires 5 hemp. Zhang Cheng has already collected enough hemp when he collected it previously.

Players can make some small things with them, such as bandages and other medicines, but equipment, semi-finished products, buildings, etc. still need a workbench to make.

After making the bandage, Zhang Cheng rushed all the way back to the coalition camp and handed the bandage to the camp.

[Aid task 2 is completed, and the production experience value*1000 is obtained]

[Player crafting level increased to level 3]

Continue to increase the production speed of semi-finished products, and at the same time, the third-level production also unlocks a recipe.

[Animal skin vest, attributes:
HP+50
Armor+3
Riot prevention rate +3%】

Blood volume and armor are easy to understand. The anti-riot rate is to reduce the chance of a critical strike when attacked, which is offset by the opponent’s critical strike rate.

The production of an animal hide vest requires ten animal skins and ten coarse cloths. The coarse cloth is made of hemp and hemp by-resource plant stem skins. Zhang Cheng estimated that ten coarse cloths should be enough.

Then the next thing to do is five animal skins.

It just so happened that Zhang Cheng had yet to complete an assistance mission to kill the infected, so he went straight out to look for traces of the prey.

Previously, Zhang Cheng did not waste the duration of his active skill [Collection Strengthening], so he kept avoiding monsters and did not engage in any battles.

This does not mean that the number of wild monsters is small. On the contrary, this location is deep in the forest, and the number of wild monsters is quite large.

Zhang Cheng didn’t go far before he found his first target, which was a team of infected people.

The infected team has four infected, perhaps they were assimilated and infected to become infected, wandering around together.

Zhang Cheng’s task happened to be to defeat the four infected people. How could he miss this opportunity, and the Uzi was just a sudden burst of chug.

After a while, the gunshots stopped. These ordinary infected people were not as tough as mutant werewolves. Zhang Cheng could usually kill an infected person with only a few bullets.

However, due to the short range of uzi, Zhang Cheng was relatively close to the four infected people, so he was inevitably caught by one infected person during the battle.

Zhang Cheng lost ten points of blood, but it was harmless. Zhang Cheng’s collector wrist had an entry that automatically restores blood, and his blood would be fully restored after a while.

At this time, it is necessary to mention another state of the player, the infection safety value.

The upper limit of the infection safety value is [-] points, and the infection safety value decreases every time it is attacked by an infected body.

When the safety value drops to a certain amount, the player will have a negative buff, showing that the running speed is slowed down, then the attack power is reduced, and finally blood loss, corpse or death.

Zhang Cheng was caught by an infected zombie and lost two points of safety value. Fortunately, the negative buff only started to appear when the safety value was below [-].

The main way to increase the infection value is through furniture rest, or anti-infection drugs.

Furniture rest includes but is not limited to beds, sofas, chairs and other furniture, and anti-infective drugs are well known.

[Assistance mission 3 has been completed, and combat experience points*1000 have been obtained]

[The player has completed all assistance missions and obtained 500 alliance points]

[The player’s combat level has been raised to level 5]

Upgrading and adding points is still reckless attack power, and then the level 5 battle unlocks the next level of [Enhanced Ammunition], and a new skill [Wild Raid]

[Wild plunder, after killing any monster, there is a chance to get extra experience rewards. ] (upgrade requires 1000 alliance points)
[Enhanced Ammunition] and [Wild Plunder] Zhang Chengcheng is ready to upgrade two skills, which is 1500 alliance points.

Now that the money is only 598 points, Zhang Cheng did not choose to upgrade his skills, but continued hunting to obtain animal skins.

More than ten minutes later, Zhang Cheng defeated several wolves one after another, several deer and more than ten infected zombies, finally allowing Zhang Cheng to scrape together ten pieces of animal skins.

Zhang Cheng consciously spawned monsters towards the entrance and exit of the helicopter, which was not far away at this time.

The next thing is to go home. After successfully boarding the helicopter, Zhang Cheng continued to watch the market in the player’s trading bank, and then took a rest for a while.

After returning to the camp, Zhang Li immediately went home and made the animal skin vest.

After equipping the animal skin vest, Zhang Cheng’s attributes change:
[Player: Zhang Cheng
Collection level 3

Crafting Level 3

Combat Level 5

Health: 150/150
Attack: 9
Armor: 8
Anti-riot rate 3%
Skills: Enhanced Ammunition (Level 2), Collection Enhancement]

Of course, this is the attribute without uzi, otherwise the attack power will be a full 24 points.

After checking his own attributes, Zhang Cheng hurriedly walked to the locker in the manor to sort out the supplies he currently owns.
