Brother Dao Took the Entertainment Industry by Storm, Fans Beg Me Not to Kill Anymore

Chapter 954: Other Players:? It’s open? Boring! Report! Report!

”Hey! Is anyone trying to climb the rankings on the new map in Yizhuang?”

A seasoned gamer from abroad refreshed the leaderboard with some confusion.

He is also a game streamer on the largest video platform website abroad.

Kanli considers himself lucky to have caught the wave of game live streaming at the right time, and he also happens to be a talented player. Therefore, most of his live streaming content and video content is about climbing the leaderboards of various games, and he also occasionally makes video tutorials on how to kill a boss with only 1 HP in single-player games.

The more difficult the game, the more excited he gets. As for racing games like ”Deep Blue Speed,” he is naturally one of the veteran players. His name is still on the top of the leaderboard for many maps, and he is currently number one on the newly released Yizhuang map.

Actually, itʼs still quite easy to climb to the top of the new map rankings at this time, because everyone is not very familiar with Yi Zhuang. Many time-saving racing details still require a lot of time to study and figure out. So even though he has been sitting on this list for more than a month, he still has the habit of opening this list every day to check the updates.

So itʼs the same today.

Kanli looked at the game name at the top of his leaderboard with great satisfaction. He looked down at each name and found that they were all familiar faces, the old players in their racing circle—the guys he had always trampled underfoot.

Until a brand new, unfamiliar name appeared—

ʼheʼ

Kanli:?

Kanli stared for a while, then let out the same ”hehe” sound: ”Who is this? Is this someoneʼs alt account?”

Upon refreshing the page again, he discovered that the subtly sarcastic ʼheʼ had once again topped the rankings.

fourth!

fourth?!

Hmm? Wait a minute, is something wrong?!

Kanli had a bad feeling and immediately went to ask everyone he knew, even a Chinese player in the racing circle, to ask if there were any new players trying to climb the leaderboard.

However, the results were all negative.

—They didnʼt know what had happened, but they all started paying attention to this brand new account.

”Could someone be using cheats?”

Some people have doubts.

”Can casual players achieve this level of performance?”

”But Deep Blue Speed has very strong cheat detection capabilities. Who can bypass their official game developers?”

As a game that highly values competitive rankings, the official team respects the fairness of the competition. Itʼs impossible for someone to get lucky and accidentally use a bug to fly to the finish line. And if someone tries to cheat to fly to the finish line, theyʼll be instantly killed as soon as they show their face.

All the achievements on this leaderboard are the result of the playersʼ hard work and dedication; there is no possibility of fraud.

This is why Deep Blue Speed has maintained its place in the racing and motorsports genre for so many years.

Even though the appearance of this new account is a bit strange, many players suspect that he has discovered some revolutionary shortcut.

—Thatʼs part of the fun of this type of game.

While you canʼt actually take shortcuts by exploiting bugs in the game, within the reasonable limits of the game rules and modeling, there are sometimes shortcuts that even experienced players might not be able to discover. These shortcuts could be worth 5-6 seconds at crucial moments, but thatʼs enough to cause a stir in the racing community.

Given the precedent, Kanli and his team had no choice but to guess that ”he” had discovered some important shortcut that could greatly shorten the race time.

Those who couldnʼt find ”he” can only watch helplessly as ”he” surpasses the third-place ranking and gradually strives for first and second place.

-

【Wow, I just noticed the leaderboard to Xiao Geʼs right. Didnʼt you guys realize heʼs already ranked third?】

【What? That ”he”? I didnʼt even notice it was Xiao Geʼs game name, hahaha. Although I know that ”he” should be the ”He” in Xiao He, why does it sound like ”heh” when typed in English? It feels like Iʼm being sarcastic.】

【I noticed that too... Wow, thatʼs incredible! Is this the difference between geniuses and ordinary people like us? Some people can easily climb the leaderboard after just a few tries, while Iʼm still just crashing into walls. No wonder Xiao He chuckled. Iʼm laughing at my own stupidity.】

【Itʼs heartbreaking, Iʼm hallucinating, but Brother Xiao is truly amazing. No wonder heʼs a champion race car driver in real life, his skill is not to be underestimated.】

【In the following instances, Brother Xiao switched to a third-person perspective to accommodate us, and I felt he was already holding back. I was truly astonished that he was still this strong.】

Yes, after the first round of the game, Xiao He found that many of his fans couldnʼt accept the first-person perspective, so he immediately switched the game back to a third-person perspective.

After this change, many fansʼ symptoms were significantly relieved, and as Xiao He continued his live stream, more and more people kept entering his live stream room.

When they saw Xiao He racing cars, everyone felt a strange mix of excitement and regret.

【Itʼs a pity I couldnʼt be there to watch Xiao Heʼs racing competition back then. Now Xiao He is busy with work and hasnʼt participated in a racing competition for a long time.】

【Looking forward to when Xiao Ge will return to the racetrack? I really want to see it.】

【I also think itʼs a real shame. Xiao Ge (Brother Xiao) had a really special charm when he was driving.】

【So, Xiao Ge, good luck! Since youʼre already here, why not go for number one on the leaderboard tonight?】

【Yeah, yeah, Brother Xiao, give it your all tonight and crush that number one on the leaderboard! I donʼt think their results are that great! Brother Xiao, just go for it!】

Netizens love a good show, especially after discovering that Xiao He was becoming increasingly familiar with the map. They started fanning the flames, hoping that Xiao He would blow up the rankings.

Wouldnʼt that make tonightʼs New Yearʼs Eve live broadcast entertaining?

There were even other netizens who werenʼt afraid of ”dying” because they arrived late and missed seeing Xiao Heʼs first-person racing perspective. Not knowing the power of that perspective, they all asked Xiao He to run it again in first-person view in the live stream.

Others who had already experienced it, for reasons unknown, followed suit and made suggestions.

Tonightʼs live stream was originally intended to satisfy everyoneʼs various requests. Seeing that these guys in the chat were all excitedly ”looking for a beating,” Xiao He didnʼt say anything. He quickly switched to first-person perspective before the countdown for the new round of the game ended.

Along with that, his voice said, ”Iʼm actually more used to this perspective.”

Amidst a cacophony of comments like ”【???】”, ”【Iʼm off】”, and ”【Everyone, buckle up, get ready to go】”, the familiar blue sports car once again shot off like a rocket!

A few minutes later, ”he” successfully topped the Yizhuang map speed race leaderboard.

【1. 【Five-Starred Red Flag】 Time: 4:59】

Kanli, who keeps refreshing the rankings:??? Holy crap, itʼs been reduced to under five minutes?

Is it really open now?! This is no fun at all!

What kind of cheat is that?!

Damn it! Iʼm reporting this! Iʼm reporting this!
