Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 233: Shocked TV viewers
Chapter 233 Shocked TV viewers

Because it can almost transmit directionally like a laser when communicating, and transmit towards a point or even a surface, so security is one of the advantages in the field of visible light communication.

Although there are many advantages, wireless optical communication technology also has a fatal shortcoming of being afraid of being blocked!

It is also because of this shortcoming of being afraid of being blocked that wireless optical communication technology has not improved much until now.

It is only used in some special occasions, such as military support occasions and some niche communication occasions, such as TV infrared remote control and so on. ”

Hearing the words of the Xiahua University professor, the audience nodded slightly.

Facts seem to prove that the words of the Xiahua University professor are true this time, if this technology has no fatal flaws.

Such a good technology must have entered people’s lives a long time ago, and wireless optical communication technology will not be seen only in TV remote control as it is now.

”Professor He, besides the fear of being obscured, is there any other reason to prevent this wireless optical communication technology from entering our lives?”

The hostess asked the questions that came to people’s minds at the right time.

“In addition to being afraid of being blocked and causing the signal to be interrupted, there are actually other restrictions, such as the miniaturization problem of wireless module components!

You may not know that, in fact, two years ago, in 2003, more than ten well-known international companies in Han Country, Island Country and Medi Country established the VLC Alliance.

Members in this alliance include more than 10 international companies such as Sanxing, Songxia, Sanleng, and Casio.

The purpose of this VLC alliance is to develop visible light communication technology, and the purpose, like Lin Xuan, is to use this technology to replace microwave communication technology.

But you all know the result. Two years have passed, and many international giant companies have jointly developed it for two years, but there is still no result!

The biggest problem that troubles them is not the standard patent issue of visible light communication. After all, the standard is just a set of self-defined rules.

With the strength of more than a dozen international companies, they have already completed the standard formulation of visible light communication.

But there was one thing that blocked their way forward, and made the huge scientific research funds they invested go to waste!

This problem is how to successfully reduce the entire set of visible light communication system components into small parts for marketization.

So two years later, they haven’t released anything yet, and they have burned tens of millions of dollars in research funds. ”

”Is there a problem with the miniaturization of components?!”

The hostess in front of the TV, including the audience at the scene, nodded slightly.

They seemed to understand something, but in fact they didn’t understand anything at all. They could only nod their heads blindly to show that they had finished listening.

In fact, they don’t know how difficult this miniaturization problem is. Later generations of Chinese scientists have also conducted research in this area.

It took 7 years to spend countless funds and manpower to solve this technical problem, and successfully reached the world’s leading level in this field.

As for the VLC alliance, which was the earliest research, they actually almost gave up when they faced this problem.

So the great Xia of the later generations can successfully solve the problem of miniaturization of components and large-scale integrated mass production, and successfully catch up with the pioneer of VLC Alliance.

Achieved a transmission speed of 50GB per second for laboratory devices and 10GB per second for civilian devices, achieving a world-leading level!

”Professor He, if Lin Xuan can really overcome these defects, what can wireless optical communication bring us?”

The hostess asked the second important question in this talk show.

”If Lin Xuan can really overcome the various shortcomings of wireless optical communication technology, then visible light communication has great potential!

It can even be said that it has excellent complementarity with wireless communication technology. After the two converge, wireless communication technology will be more powerful. ”

”Can you be more specific?”

The hostess showed curiosity and asked Professor He.

Nodding slightly, Professor He from Xiahua University slowly said:

“For example, the biggest difference in signal diffusion between wireless communication and visible light communication is that a signal concentrates on one surface or point, and a signal spreads in all directions.

If there are too many microwave radio communication devices spreading in all directions.

Then you can imagine the bad effect of countless identical signals in the surrounding environment.

It’s like throwing a bunch of things together and cooking porridge, which obviously affects the use of wireless devices.

In order to solve this problem, scientists can only solve it in a stupid way.

If one transmission fails, do it twice, and it is necessary to repeatedly verify whether the signal packet is lost.

The final performance result is that when there are few people, it is very smooth to use mobile phones to surf the Internet, but when there are many people or in the case of dense crowds, the wireless network speed is really bad.

This is the natural defect of radio technology!

After all, his signal spreads in all directions, and it will inevitably affect other devices and cause serious interference.

Wireless communication technology has no such disadvantages, because the transmission direction of light is directional, so it can keep the device in a super high theoretical working condition.

The result shown is that its stability is very strong, which means that its network speed can always run to the full theoretical network speed state, which is its biggest advantage.

I did a mathematical calculation yesterday, if I use optical communication technology, because I am not afraid of the interference of wireless signals from other wireless devices.

So under the same circumstances, the actual network speed of wireless optical communication technology will generally exceed 4~5 times that of radio microwave communication technology!

Based on the current situation, once the wireless optical communication technology can really be implemented, there will be no problem with a stable transmission speed of 1G~2G per second! ”

”What? It’s okay to reach a speed of 1G~2G per second?!!”

A young man at the scene exclaimed, the network speed of this wireless optical communication technology far exceeded his cognition.

The previous WIPI wireless LAN’s speed of 600 megabytes per second has shocked the world. Now it is no problem to hear that the network speed of a wireless optical communication technology can reach 1G~2G per second.

The young man just felt dizzy for a while. The network speed of this visible light communication technology is too terrifying.

Thinking of this, he couldn’t help thinking about what he could do with this terrifying internet speed once this technology was applied.

First of all, the first thing that came to his mind was undoubtedly to use it to download movies and study the teacher’s lessons, but he shook his head again in a flash.

How can such a terrifying Internet speed be used to download movies and learn knowledge? Shouldn’t this Internet speed be used to play games? This is the right way!

On the other side, Professor He from Xiahua University shook his head slightly at this time and smiled:

”It’s a pity, the future of wireless optical communication technology is very good, but it’s just a distant dream. We don’t have to think too much, just do what we should, and don’t have too much hope for Lin Xuan.

After all, just the shortcoming of fear of being blocked can put this wireless optical communication technology on the shelf, so that this technology will never have the possibility of landing, and it will always be just a distant dream!

So I am not optimistic about Lin Xuan’s attempt to replace radio communication technology with visible light communication technology. I have to say that Lin Xuan is really a bit ignorant this time.

But there is no way around this, after all, he was sued by the WiFi Alliance for infringing on their WIFI patent.

Facing the situation that WiFi-related patents cannot be used in the future, Hantang Technology can only go to the doctor in a hurry.

Taking advantage of the fact that there are no patents in the field of wireless optical communication, it is impossible to develop wireless optical communication technology.

I believe that if Lin Xuan had a choice, he would never choose to develop wireless optical communication technology.

But no matter what, Lin Xuan really made a stupid decision this time.

Although this decision was not his subjective will, it was a panicked choice in the midst of rushing to the doctor.

But until now I have not heard him announce that he has given up research on wireless optical communication technology. This proves that Lin Xuan is really desperate for face, and he refuses to admit that he did something wrong...

I believe that the future Hantang Technology will definitely suffer from Lin Xuan’s behavior. ”

Speaking of this, Professor He shook his head slightly, as if feeling melancholy for Hantang Technology.

It seems that he is an absolute supporter of Hantang Technology, and it is sad for Hantang Technology to have Lin Xuan, who has no ambition at the helm.

But he obviously overlooked that if Lin Xuan was not at the helm, Hantang Technology would be just an ordinary mobile phone factory.

The audience in the audience, including the audience in front of the TV, heard the words of this Professor He, and they couldn’t help feeling sorry for the huge amount of money Lin Xuan had invested.

Based on Lin Xuan’s character, this fund will definitely be invested in this field with real money, and real money will be invested in research. In this case, the disadvantage of visible light communication is that it is afraid of being blocked.

The final result may be there, but it is definitely not satisfactory, and it cannot replace the status of radio communication, and the final harvest is very little.

So this fund may really be wasted!

Thinking of this, people feel sorry for the money Lin Xuan burned for nothing.

It turned out that such a huge amount of funds was spent in vain and burned, and the results of the final research and development could not be used. This has to be said to be a tragedy.

While sighing, they couldn’t help agreeing with Professor He’s words. Lin Xuan’s behavior was indeed a bit reckless.

Perhaps Lin Xuan should give up the field of wireless optical communication and devote all the energy of the company to the field of microwave radio communication.

Directly abandon the relevant technical standards of the WiFi Alliance, 2.4G, 5G, and directly develop 3.5G or 4G and 6G communication technologies.

The only way to establish your own communication standards from scratch is the correct path.

”Pity.”

In front of the Daxia TV, a young man shook his head, feeling sorry for the funds that Hantang Technology had burned.

”Lin Xuan was really impulsive this time.”

In front of a TV in Daxia, a middle-aged man shook his head slightly, feeling sorry for the funds Lin Xuan had burned.
