Chapter 227: meeting of giants on wall street
Chapter 227 The Wall Street Giants Meeting

Mediguo, Wall Street.

At this time, in a certain company’s building, the large conference room was filled with more than 40 people with the temperament of a big boss.

If journalists come here, they will definitely exclaim that everyone here is the CEO or deputy CEO of a major company.

Everyone here can create a huge movement in the industry, such as Chen Damou, the boss of TSMC who is sitting at the bottom of the crowd.

Although Chen Damou is only sitting at the last seat, he really wants to do something, which can cause a huge movement in the entire chip foundry industry.

The company behind everyone here is that kind of big company, almost all of them are from the leading companies in the electronics industry of Medigo.

At this time they gathered together, and a huge event in the electronics industry circle was about to break out.

”I am very glad that everyone is here. I am the host of this meeting, Chambers, and I am also the CEO of Cisco.”

At this time, a middle-aged foreigner with a slightly protruding head and slightly curly hair smiled and greeted everyone who stood up and greeted the scene.

”Mr. Chambers, nice to meet you.”

”Mr. Chambers, good morning, free for a drink.”

”Mr. Chambers...”

When Chambers finished speaking, many people at the scene also greeted him.

It seems that this guy is quite popular, and I don’t know if it’s because of his popularity or because of his historic achievements.

This guy is not simple, he has the title of ”the world’s number one M&A person”.

“The No. 1 M&A Person in the World”, as the name suggests, likes to make the company grow rapidly through M&A.

This guy successfully transformed Cisco from a router company to the world’s largest router Internet communication equipment company through mergers and acquisitions.

Finally, in 2000, Cisco became the world’s most valuable company!

Before the first Internet bubble, that is, before 2000, Cisco’s market value reached 540 billion US dollars at its peak!

$540 billion!

This terrifying market value far exceeds that of Motorola, Intel, and Weisoft, and tramples other international companies under their feet.

The reason why Cisco was able to create such a miracle is precisely the business philosophy Chambers pursued all his life.

”Either don’t do it, or be number one or number two!”

It is precisely following this philosophy. Since he became the CEO of Cisco, he has acquired hundreds of companies in just a few years through crazy mergers and acquisitions.

Successfully made Cisco the number one company in terms of market capitalization. Through the acquisition of hundreds of companies, it successfully grasped the huge patents in the field of routers and Internet communications, and gained an almost monopoly position in the market!

And all these achievements are the achievements of Chambers, who looks like an ordinary businessman in front of him.

So that’s why he’s so popular.

”Okay, okay, but now let’s get to the topic of this meeting.

Everyone must know what this meeting is. The thing to be discussed this time is about Hantang Technology. ”

It is naturally impossible for the host of such an important meeting to allow a company to always sit as the host, but to take turns.

It happened to be Cisco’s turn this time, so Chambers was urging everyone to get into the topic quickly.

”Hantang Technology, this guy and this company are really amazing.”

”It’s not just the company that’s amazing, I think the really scary thing is the company’s boss, Lin Xuan.

This guy is simply the real version of Iron Man. With his existence, I am afraid that the 45nm process chip technology is just around the corner.

After all, they have successfully developed the lithography machine, and the remaining core equipment such as etching machines and chemical deposition equipment are not far away. ”

Speaking of Hantang Technology, the people at the scene began to whisper among each other.

In this regard, Chambers, who was the moderator of the meeting, shrugged and said nothing. After the discussion of the people subsided a little, he continued:

”The last time we discussed whether to further suppress Hantang Technology, we finally took the majority with the negative vote, so that the incident of suppressing Hantang Technology ended without a problem.

This time I suggest continuing to vote on whether to implement a stronger and harsher suppression of Hantang Technology! ”

”This…”

Hearing the words of Chambers, the president of Cisco, many people on the scene who had voted against last time looked at each other with hesitation in their eyes.

The decision has not been made for more than a month, and the result will be repeated? Isn’t this a bit of a slap in the face of themselves?

But that Hantang technology is indeed becoming more and more powerful as time goes by, and it is becoming more and more difficult to contain.

If there is no more brutal suppression in this situation, then you will not be able to suppress it if you want to suppress it in the future.

However, some people think that it is useless even if they want to carry out more brutal suppression, so he asked curiously:

”I don’t know how you want to suppress it? People can now produce their own mobile phone chips, and there is no room for meddling in the field of low-end mobile phone chips.

As for mid-to-high-end mobile phone chips, it may not take a few months for them to successfully develop other core equipment with 45nm process technology, and then solve the problem of mid-to-high-end chips by themselves. How do you plan to suppress them under this situation?

As for the field of mobile phone OEMs, we have no other way to find Hantang Technology to manufacture mobile phones for other mobile phones. How should we suppress Hantang Technology in this case? ”

Looking at the boss of Texas Instruments who raised the question, the people at the scene fell silent.

At present, Hantang Technology can produce and sell many things on its own. Even if they want to break the capital chain of Hantang Technology, it will be very difficult.

But at this time, Chen Damou from TSMC suddenly said:

”In fact, if you want to suppress Hantang Technology, it is very simple to break Hantang Technology’s capital chain.”

”?”

Hearing Chen Damou’s words, many people at the scene looked at Chen Damou in surprise. I don’t know why Chen Damou said that?

And the other party also called this matter very simple, which surprised them, after all, they were having a headache.

”WIPI wireless LAN standard!”

Chen Damou slowly revealed the reason why he thought this matter was very simple.

In an instant, the eyes of many executives in the communication industry were brightened, including Intel’s president Paul Olds!

Intel is an important core member of the WiFi Alliance and one of the framers of the WiFi standard.

Among them, WiFi can be popular all over the world, which is actually inseparable from Intel’s strong support in recent years.

It is precisely because of Intel’s strong support in the computer field that WiFi has entered notebooks and even desktops.

So WiFi is becoming well-known with Intel’s strong recommendation.

At this time, Chen Damou mentioned the WIPI wireless LAN standard, and many executives in the communication industry were impressed.

This is truly a breaking point!

Many people in the communication industry at the scene know what the so-called WIPI wireless LAN standard looks like.

The fundamental core technology of the so-called WIPI wireless LAN standard is still WiFi technology, and the underlying architecture of many WIPI standards still uses the standard technology of WiFi.

So this is why the router in Daxia can naturally support mobile phones using WiFi.

Because the underlying technology uses the same technology, but the encryption standard is a little different.

This difference can be completely resolved through software simulation level compatibility!

So although WIPI and WIFI seem to be two standards, the so-called WIPI wireless LAN standard is the WiFi standard.

This has resulted in the fact that Hantang Technology has seriously infringed the WiFi standard patent in fact!

So WIPI is indeed an excellent breakthrough point!

”As expected of a Daxia person!”

At this time, the president of the draft company said with a smile.

Cisco President Chambers also said with a smile:

”That’s right, the WIPI wireless LAN standard l is indeed a breakthrough. We were still worried about Daxia’s attitude before.

But there is no need to care about it now, because the threat of Hantang Technology is already too great, and we can no longer care about the reaction of Daxia. ”

At this time, Chen Damou, the president of TSMC, looked at the crowd and said:

”You don’t need to care about Daxia’s reaction at all, because I understand Daxia, as long as our behavior is legal and compliant, don’t care at all.

We can make a big fuss about the WIPI wireless LAN, and we have to make it bigger and better, so that they don’t dare to really do it. ”

Seeing his stern words, many people at the scene couldn’t help but believe them.

”Next, let’s crack down on Hantang Technology through the WiFi Alliance. In addition, I suggest that it is time for more brutal suppression.

We must interrupt the capital chain of Hantang Technology, so that it cannot have enough funds to conquer the etching machine of 45nm process technology. Daxia masters the production of 45nm chips, which will be a disaster for the global electronics industry...”

”We at Cisco agree.”

Cisco CEO Chambers nodded slightly.

“We at Broadcom agree.”

Mediguo’s second largest communications company, Botong, also agreed.

This Botong company is an important member of the WiFi standard setter, and its status in the WiFi Alliance is comparable to that of Intel.

”Our Luxun company also agrees.”

Luxun, a giant in the telecommunications industry, also made a decision to agree.

”Our Texas Instruments also agree.”

”Our manuscript also agrees.”…

At this time, many members involved in the communication field or the WiFi standard-setting alliance agreed to suppress Hantang Technology more severely, which means that the WiFi alliance has the will at this moment.

This will is to prevent Hantang Technology from infringing on WiFi, and to sue Hantang Technology!

Once this matter is successful, it will definitely prevent Hantang Technology’s low-end chips from being exported overseas.

It’s hard to say about Daxia, but overseas is the world of international companies like them.

As long as they sue WIPI for the wireless LAN standard, then the patent lawsuit is successfully won. In the patent lawsuit, it is determined that WIPI has infringed the patent of the WIFI Alliance.

Then they can prevent devices supporting WIPI wireless LAN from being sold abroad, and pay huge compensation to the WIFI alliance.

As for Lin Xuan’s compensation for patent infringement damages, this problem is actually not a big problem. If Lin Xuan persists and refuses to compensate for infringement losses.

Then the Dali Temple in the Meidi Kingdom will be able to announce the fine and seizure of Hantang Technology’s overseas assets.

In addition, from now on, Hantang Technology’s products don’t have to think about going to sea.

Because after the products of Hantang Technology go overseas, major companies can report directly, and then the Dali Temple of the US Empire can justifiably seize and auction the products belonging to Hantang Technology.

After all, this is the property of Hantang Technology!
