Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 221: Terrified Soni Company!
Chapter 221 The frightened Soni Company!

March 12, 2005.

”This is what made our company, Soni, evaporate more than 8 billion dollars in just two days?”

At this time, the president of Suoni Company went out of his hometown, Shinzhi, and he looked curiously at the most equipped Hantang set-top box in front of him.

This out-of-town Shinzhi is not an ordinary person. This guy is the man who directly raised the market value of Suo Ni Company from more than 35 billion US dollars to more than 70 billion!

It can be said that this record is enough to make him famous in history and become a legendary CEO in the history of celebrities.

At this time, he looked at the small, palm-sized box in front of him very curiously.

Is it this little thing that made Suoni evaporate 8 billion US dollars in just two days?

At this time, many people in China did not know that Suoni Company actually fell worse than Motorola.

Motorola just evaporated more than 4 billion US dollars, but Suoni company evaporated more than 8 billion US dollars in just two days!

This cable mud fell worse than a motorcycle!

The reason why Suoni Company fell so badly is because Motorola still has the field of wireless communication and the field of global mobile phones.

But it is different for Suomu Company. What is the most important marketing of Suomu Company? Is it the cultural industry? no.

Soni Company has three major businesses, one is the entertainment industry of music and movies, the second is the field of electronic products such as mobile phones, digital products and TV sets, and the third is the field of game consoles!

The reason why the field of game consoles is not included in the field of electronic products is because the field of game consoles is currently the most important source of income for Soni.

Because of the iPod of Pingguo Company in the music field, only one MD of Suoni Company can be sold for every 10 iPods sold.

Needless to say, in the film field, the competitive pressure of the film business is even greater.

Movies are a gambling industry. If you invest tens of millions of dollars in making a movie, you may lose everything in the end!

The mobile phone is also in cooperation with Ericsson, and the profit is not large. As for the TV, it is directly in a state of loss.

In this case, currently the main profit of Suoni Company is supported by PS home game consoles and PSP handhelds, as well as the profits earned from the licensing fees of the two major game platforms.

So at this time, Suoni Company faced the unreasonable Hantang smart set-top box, and the stock market reacted very quickly. It evaporated a total of 8 billion U.S. dollars for two consecutive days without giving any explanation.

It can be said that the high-level executives of Suoni Company were stunned.

Hantang Technology released a mobile phone, but it came with a smart set-top box, a product that was not advertised at all, but it beat my dignified Suoni company to the ground? !

Suoni Company was stunned, and naturally rushed to purchase the products from Daxia to study, so this is the scene in front of it.

”Has it been thoroughly researched?”

At this time, Nobuyuki asked the researcher in front of him, with a faint dignity in his eyes.

”Master President, the preliminary research has been completed.”

The researcher in the white coat replied anxiously.

The outgoing Nobuyuki in front of him is an unusual legendary president. He is the great president who brought the market value of Suoni Company from more than 35 billion to nearly 70 billion.

Facing such an outstanding president, the researcher felt a little uneasy.

”Give me a demonstration.”

Going out of the country, Shinyuki said something lightly.

”Yes, President.”

The researcher nodded slightly and said slowly:

“This smart set-top box can be regarded as a cheap computer that can be connected to the Internet, and the functions that can be realized on the computer can be realized by this smart set-top box.

However, unlike a computer, its monitor is a TV instead of a general-purpose computer monitor. In addition, it can also be directly connected to a closed-circuit TV to watch TV programs on the TV station! ”

The researcher picked up the remote control, and then clicked the start button of the remote control, and soon a female voice came out:

”Welcome to use Hantang Smart Terminal.”

The official name of the wrong Hantang set-top box is Hantang Smart Terminal. It is not called a set-top box, but a set-top box is just a common name.

After the welcome sound, the screen instantly enters a selection interface or the desktop.

Responding to this, Nobuyuki Degun frowned slightly.

Because after seeing the desktop and seeing the software, he felt that this smart set-top box could indeed be called a computer.

In fact, the smart set-top box has also been studied by Suoni Company, and their PS2 home game console is also developed in the direction of the invisible China Internet smart set-top box!

But maybe the design purpose is different. Although they are also developing in the direction of smart set-top boxes, the final products are different!

Perhaps the reason why the PS2 game console itself is a game console, its greater role is to act as a game console, and the purpose of design is also to play games.

So although the PS2 game console can also connect to the Internet, the essential purpose of this thing is to allow people to play games through the Internet.

The greater role of smart set-top boxes is to be used for TVs, and the design purpose is to occupy more families and cover a wider area.

So the smart set-top box does not emphasize game performance, but more emphasis is on multi-function, multi-compatible products, and connecting more devices. This is the biggest difference between the two.

Looking at the system desktop of the smart set-top box at this time, Nobuyuki seemed to have thought of something, and he was in deep thought.

”Welcome to Hantang Cinema.”

At this time, the researcher is using the remote control in his hand to enter a software called Hantang Cinema, and there are not many movies appearing on it with the sound of welcome.

There are not many movies here, because of copyright reasons, there are only hundreds of movies that have been authorized.

At present, Hantang Technology Co., Ltd. is reaching copyright cooperation with many companies, and is actively introducing their films.

”God of Gamblers”

The researcher skillfully clicked on a movie with the highest ranking and the highest rating.

Then the movie was officially played without any surprises. At this time, the network of the Soni Company was obviously very good.

At this time, the movie screen is also automatically selected to be ultra-high-definition. The ultra-high-definition picture quality looks very clear, and there is no delay in the movements of the characters or even the sound.

”This…”

The president of Suoni Company, Chuxiang Shinzhi, was slightly taken aback when he saw all this. It turns out that this thing can still do this.

When Shinzhi was surprised, the researcher also clicked on the main menu to return to the desktop, and then clicked on a music software called ”Han Tang Music”.

The screen flashed, and in less than a second, a new interface appeared in front of Nobuyuki Tsugo. There were many rankings in this interface, such as today’s trending rankings, new song rankings, and today’s karaoke rankings...

While leaving Nobuyuki for a moment, the researcher clicked the confirmation button again, selected a song called ”The First Snow in 2002” and clicked to play.

”The first snow in 2002 was later than before...”

”You can still listen to music!”

Listening to the clear sound of the music, Nobuyuki Dego’s face became gloomy.

But before leaving the country, Nobuyuki’s face became more gloomy. The researchers then showed a software called Penguin Chat.

The researcher pressed the voice button of the smart remote control in his hand, then relaxed after speaking and sent a voice message.

Within a few seconds, when the other party also made a voice and a voice appeared, the shock in Nobuyuki’s eyes could no longer be concealed!

”Can you still play like this?!”

Shigo Shinichi looked in shock at the researcher who was chatting with him through the smart remote.

The female secretary of Nobuyuki, who was out of the country at the scene, saw this scene, and because she was too surprised, she hurriedly covered her small mouth with her hand to prevent the president from being disturbed by the sound.

”The truth is more than that.”

The researcher sighed, and clicked on the main menu again to return to the desktop.

Afterwards, the researcher successively demonstrated the three functions of wireless co-screening, web browsing, and games, and Nobuyuki’s face became more and more gloomy.

Especially when he saw that there were many mobile games transplanted from mobile phones on the Hantang game platform, Nobuyuki’s face became even more gloomy.

”It’s a threat!”

Looking at the researcher who is proficiently playing mobile phone porting games with a wireless controller, Nobuyuki Dego, the president of Suoni Company, felt the huge threat brought by this Hantang smart set-top box!

Because the above games are ported from mobile phones, they are not games specially developed for this smart set-top box.

But Shinzhi believes that it won’t be long before he goes out of the country, and there will definitely be game companies developing exclusive games for smart set-top boxes!

Because the smart set-top box has so many functions, it can actually enter every family and coexist harmoniously with every TV!

So the market potential of this thing is too great!

In the world, there are as many smart set-top boxes as there are TVs in the market, which is completely different from their PS game consoles!

The main purpose of buyers of PS game consoles is to play games, and the buyers of smart set-top boxes are not necessarily for playing games.

They may have other purposes for purchasing smart set-top boxes, and these different purposes make the market for smart set-top boxes extremely large.

So in the face of such a huge equipment market, will those game companies not be tempted? Don’t they want to develop exclusive games for this smart set-top box?

At this time, Nobuyuki finally understood why the market value of Suoni Company fell from 70 billion to more than 60 billion in just two days, and more than 8 billion were directly evaporated!

”This Lin Xuan is really bad, he is my strongest enemy in the history of Suoni Company!”

At this time, Lin Xuan didn’t know that the president of Suoni Company, Chuxiang Shinzhi, would comment on him like this.

If he knew, he would laugh out loud, and then he would go up and press Nobuyuki’s head and ask him with a smile:

”Do you now know the consequences of cutting off the supply of 1-megapixel photosensitive sensors and lenses?”

Of course, if Nobuyuki knew the reason, he would regret it so much that his intestines would turn green.

If I knew this, I would rather offend Wall Street than Lin Xuan. After offending Lin Xuan, I actually attracted such a big enemy for myself.

If this smart set-top box continues to expand the market, then Suo Ni Company will not only lose more than 8 billion in market value and even lose the big summer market.

If it continues to develop, I am afraid that Suoni Company will go bankrupt by then!

After all, the license fee business of game consoles and game console platforms now accounts for most of the revenue of Suoni Company!
