Chapter 229: WIFI Alliance
Chapter 229 WIFI Alliance

What is this WiFi alliance?

Why did they sue Hantang Technology for infringing their WIFI patents, and they also demanded $20 billion in damages for patent infringement? !

With disbelief and confusion in his eyes, Li Zheng hurriedly clicked on Qiandu and searched for the keyword ”WiFi”.

Curiously check the relevant information of WIFI, want to see what is ”WiFi”?

Soon after his understanding, he found that the so-called WiFi is the WIPI wireless LAN function.

However, one of them is the wireless local area network standard l formulated by Daxia, and the other is the wireless local area network standard l formulated by Meidiguo.

Seeing the simple explanation on Qiandu Encyclopedia above, Li Zheng showed a confused look.

Since it is your own standard, why does it infringe on the patent of the WiFi Alliance?

While puzzled, he continued to search for the above information.

Soon, after seeing an expert explanation that had just appeared for a long time, Li Zheng understood what WiFi is?

It turns out that the essence of WIPI wireless LAN is just a secondary innovation based on WiFi technology, and the place for secondary innovation is not large.

Only a certain degree of correction and update has been carried out in terms of verification security, making WiFi more secure.

Then this is called a brand-new wireless LAN standard, a brand-new WiFi standard, but anyone with a discerning eye knows how it is.

So now the Wi-Fi Alliance’s complaint is really accurate!

”how so?”

Li Zheng saw the news he found, saw the expert’s assertion that Lin Xuan would definitely lose the lawsuit, and then looked at the series of evidence they listed...

Li Zheng found that Hantang Technology has no possibility of winning the lawsuit, and the venue of this lawsuit is not in Daxia, but in Meidiguo.

That is to say, this patent infringement lawsuit, even if Daxia wants to take sides, he can’t take sides!

Thinking of this, Li Zheng fell into despair.

…

The next day, last night, the headlines of a certain wave portal website first reported that Dali Temple in the Twist State of Mediguo officially accepted the lawsuit of ”WiFi Alliance sues Hantang Technology for infringing WiFi patents”.

The next morning, the other three major Internet portals and major well-known paper newspapers rushed to report the incident.

So the WiFi Alliance sued Hantang Technology on the same day, demanding that Hantang Technology compensate 20 billion U.S. dollars for patent losses, which became an undoubted news headline!

”Hantang Technology is involved in a lawsuit again. After being asked for ”10 billion Xiayuan” in compensation, Hantang Technology is involved in a lawsuit again. This time, it is required to pay 140 billion Xiayuan in compensation!”

This is the news headline of Penguin Portal.

”Hantang Technology, which is in deep quagmire, may make Hantang Technology go bankrupt with a claim of 20 billion US dollars.”

This is the news headline of a fox portal.

”The Tangfeng chip platform has encountered a major setback. According to rumors, Hantang Technology has suffered a wave of terrorist returns.”

This is the news headline of a certain e-portal website.

“The WIPI wireless local area network may leave us, and we will no longer be able to surf the Internet for free.”

This is the news headline of a certain wave portal.

No matter what news headlines, they reported Hantang Technology in a huge compensation lawsuit in a shocked tone.

In addition, they also reported on the WIPI wireless LAN standard and the WiFi standard, and in the article, they affirmed without hesitation that the WIPI wireless LAN standard really infringes on the WiFi standard.

This affirmative tone made everyone’s hearts chill.

According to this situation, it means that their future mobile phones will no longer be able to use WIPI wireless LAN.

Their mobile phones will return to the era of mobile Internet access, and they will no longer be able to access the Internet for free?

Thinking of the pain of paying data traffic fees, people’s hearts are chilled.

At the same time, they are also gnashing their teeth with hatred for the WiFi Alliance!

It’s these guys who are causing trouble. Now many mobile phone manufacturers who are preparing to adopt the Tangfeng platform have stopped ordering the Tangfeng platform.

Also stopped their development of a new generation of mobile phones based on the Tangfeng platform, because they were also a little worried that they would be sued by the WiFi Alliance.

WIPI wireless LAN is good to say, many domestic companies are inseparable from WIPI wireless LAN modules, which mobile phone does not have a WIPI wireless LAN module now.

WiFi Alliance can’t sue all mobile phone manufacturers, but Tang Feng’s chip platform is different!

Tangfeng chip platform is in the form of a mobile phone processor chip plus a wireless module. Because of this form, Hantang Technology can solve 100% of the production problems and eat up all the profits.

Unlike WIPI wireless LAN modules, domestic mobile phone manufacturers have to purchase other mobile phone chips, and share profits with foreign mobile phone companies.

So at this time, many mobile phone companies have stopped their plans to develop new mobile phones based on the Tangfeng chip platform.

After all, the lion of the WiFi Alliance opened its mouth too scary, and successfully scared everyone!

After all, this is 20 billion U.S. dollars, 140 billion Xia Yuan, which company can afford 20 billion U.S. dollars in compensation.

Not to mention 20 billion, even 100 million US dollars can make them hurt, and they will never recover from a setback.

In this case, they are no longer optimistic about the Tang Feng chip platform, but think that this Tang Feng platform will be the first to become a thorn in the side of the WiFi Alliance because of its behavior of eating alone.

They were the first to be attacked by terror, so they stopped developing new mobile phones based on the Tang Feng platform.

And after all this was reported by major websites, the people of Daxia were naturally outraged. Again and again, could their strength be maintained by litigation?

Didn’t they use stronger technological products to defeat Hantang Technology? !

They don’t talk about commercial competition anymore, and they always engage in such off-the-market tricks. Can’t they use stronger products to defeat Hantang Technology?

Why do you always want to engage in these small methods, although these small methods are legal and reasonable commercial methods.

But this kind of method is still a bit contemptible. People worship the strong, but not those who use small means to defeat the enemy and then become the strong!

At this time, in the streets and alleys of Daxia, people are discussing this matter, slandering it, and venting their dissatisfaction with each other.

At this moment in a certain penguin portal.

Plausible but not 9527: ”I don’t understand, what is this WiFi alliance? Why do they dare to demand $20 billion in compensation from Lin Xuan?!”

My fat tiger is very strong: ”Don’t talk about it, our WIPI wireless LAN standard is actually using other people’s technology. You can search for details by yourself.

Although Lin Xuan was not to blame for this incident, but Dongdian Jietong did it before, but this time Lin Xuan also had a bad luck. ”

Gu Setting Sun: ”Speaking of which, can Hantang Technology win this lawsuit? Hantang Technology won’t really be compensated for the loss of 20 billion U.S. dollars?”

My fat tiger is very strong: ”I’m afraid Hantang Technology is really going to lose this time, after all, I have searched the conclusions issued by many experts.

Hantang Technology’s WIPI wireless LAN does use a lot of technical patents of the WiFi Alliance.

For example, WIPI wireless LAN uses 2.4G wireless frequency and 5G wireless frequency.

Many and many of these patents are indeed infringing WiFi patents, and these patents alone can determine that Hantang Technology is indeed an infringement.

So in this lawsuit, Lin Xuan really has little chance of winning.

I’m afraid that this time Lin Xuan will spit back all the benefits that he has eaten before. All the profits generated based on the WIPI wireless LAN will probably be given to the WiFi Alliance!

In addition to paying several times the patent infringement penalty, the result of this performance is a huge compensation of 20 billion U.S. dollars! ”

Gu Setting Yang: ”What about the WIPI wireless LAN? Can we not use WIPI’s free Internet access function in the future?”

Listening to the questions of the ”Ancient · Setting Sun” group members, many people in the group also sent out their questions as if they were activated.

open? Take a look: ”Also curious, shouldn’t we not be able to use wireless LAN in the future?

To be honest, after experiencing wireless LAN, I can no longer accept the result of not being able to use wireless LAN. ”

I don’t say: “Indeed, since I used a mobile phone that supports WIPI wireless LAN, I can’t do without the wireless LAN function.”

My fat tiger is very strong: ”We don’t know what will happen in the future, but in the short term we will not be able to use the Tang Feng platform.

That is to say, except for the Chuanyin mobile phone that will continue to support the Tangfeng chip platform, other mobile phones will no longer use the Tangfeng chip platform, which has a certain impact on us. ”

At this time, the ”Plausible 9527” who asked the question first said slowly:

”It doesn’t matter if this impact, as long as the Chuanyin mobile phone company still supports WIPI wireless LAN and wireless same-screen technology.

Then we can buy Gospel mobile phones, but I am afraid that after losing this lawsuit, Hantang Technology will not be able to pay the huge compensation.

Then Hantang Technology can no longer use and produce WIPI wireless LAN modules and Tangfeng chip platforms, what should we do then? ”

After the ”specious words of 9527” finished, the scene fell into silence.

Indeed, what they really worry about is not the present, but the future!

Now it is a fact that Hantang Technology has infringed on WIFI patents, and it seems that they are about to lose the lawsuit and pay a huge amount of compensation that shocked the world.

Under such circumstances, does Hantang Technology dare to continue to produce WIPI wireless LAN chips? Do they dare to continue to support WIPI wireless LAN?

Not to mention Lin Xuan, even after they asked themselves, they also gave a consistent answer.

Don’t dare!

He N, who would dare to use your WiFi Alliance technology patents.

The horrible compensation this time is definitely going to pay for all the old people. It is estimated that Hantang Technology may not be able to pay the huge compensation by then.

In the end, compensation can only be made in the form of shares, and eventually the WiFi Alliance will enter the board to control Hantang Technology. From then on, this proud Chinese company will completely become a foreign company.

And Lin Xuan may change from a big boss to a small shareholder by then.
