Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 98: MCU chip
Chapter 98 Microcontroller Chip

Hearing what Ni Guangnan said, and then looking at Ni Guangnan’s expectant eyes, Lin Xuan naturally nodded slightly and agreed:

”Well, next, I will try my best to master that knowledge through practice, and then come back with a dozen or twenty academician titles to make your teacher’s tail go up to the sky!”

Hearing that Lin Xuan dared to make fun of him, Ni Guangnan naturally smiled and shook his head helplessly, then pointed at Lin Xuan and laughed loudly:

”You, you are really an uneasy disciple.”

”Ha ha…”

Hearing what Ni Guangnan said, Lin Xuan laughed heartily, and Ni Guangnan couldn’t hide his smile when he saw this.

After a long time, Lin Xuan looked at Ni Guangnan and said slowly:

”Teacher, there was news on the Internet claiming that you have been dismissed. I’m afraid this is true.”

Talking about his dismissal, Ni Guangnan nodded lightly and said:

”I know, after all, to be honest, I was responsible for scientific research at that time, and my sudden departure was indeed a bit immoral...

Scientific research tasks are too important to be without a host. They will transfer someone to replace me to perform the task. I fully accept and have no opinion.

After all, I can’t affect the development of Daxia’s scientific research projects because of my personal reasons, so I have nothing to say about this matter. ”

Nodding slightly, Lin Xuan continued:

”Your behavior of leaving suddenly believes that through the first generation of Hanfeng chips, they will eventually understand you.

Now you have nothing to do when you go back, why don’t you just stay in our Hantang. The teacher always wanted to develop domestic computer chips, and we Hantang Technology supports the teacher to make computer chips! ”

”This…”

Hearing that Lin Xuan actually supported him in developing computer chips and fulfilling his long-standing dream, Ni Guangnan was moved.

It is not in vain that he has worked so hard to teach this student. After this student has learned 70% of the knowledge to such an extent, he still does not forget his original knowledge.

He is willing to spend hundreds of millions of dollars of huge funds to support his research and development of computer chips for him!

The research and development of general-purpose chips for computer chips is not a small matter. The cost of chip tape-out plus the scientific research investment in research and development of chips, the final expenditure may reach hundreds of millions of yuan!

The research and development of computer chips may cost hundreds of millions of yuan, Ni Guangnan believes that Lin Xuan will know.

But even so, Lin Xuan still chose to support him. How could this not move Ni Guangnan? !

”No, research and development of computer chips is not something that can be completed in a short period of time, and Hantang Technology is currently suffering from insufficient funds, but there is no way to spend so much money to develop computer chips, so let’s forget about it.”

Although it is Ni Guangnan’s dream to develop computer chips, Hantang Technology now has no money to invest in the field of computer chips.

After all, Hantang Technology is now facing a new factory payment pressure of 110 million. At this time, there is no money to develop computer chips.

He can’t affect the development of his disciples because of his hobbies, and even put Hantang Technology Company on the verge of bankruptcy!

So at this time Ni Guangnan rejected Lin Xuan’s words without hesitation!

Looking at Ni Guangnan’s resolute expression, Lin Xuan knew that Ni Guangnan might not listen to what he said, so Lin Xuan changed the subject with a smile:

”How about this, teacher, since you don’t want to develop computer chips now, then you can develop single-chip microcomputer chips for our Hantang Technology.

The future market potential of single-chip microcomputer chips is huge, and we can also make a lot of money through single-chip microcomputer chips. ”

The so-called single-chip microcomputer chip is actually a microcomputer, which has a CPU, memory, storage, etc. It can be said that this is just an ultra-small computer.

However, unlike a computer, this thing is extremely small, only as big as a fingernail, and has a wide range of application scenarios.

In the future, single-chip microcomputers will be used in a wide range of fields, and single-chip microcomputers have been applied to the control of smart instruments, real-time industrial control, communication equipment, navigation systems, and household appliances.

It can be said that once various products use single-chip microcomputers, they can have the effect of upgrading products.

The name of these products that use a single-chip microcomputer is often called the adjective ”smart”.

It can be said that the application of single-chip microcomputer is very extensive, and it will enter the family in the future, whether it is air conditioner, washing machine, TV remote control, or even electronically controlled toy car...

It can be said that in the future, almost all electronic devices will have single-chip microcomputers, so the market for single-chip microcomputers will be extremely broad in the future.

There are many single-chip microcomputers at present. After all, single-chip microcomputer chips have been adopted by people not long after they were made from general-purpose chips.

It was originally used in aircraft control, machine tool automation control, or industrial automation control.

The time has come to the present, and various home appliances are also using single-chip microcomputer chips, so there are currently many manufacturers of single-chip microcomputer chips, and there are many brands of single-chip microcomputers.

But although there are many manufacturers and brands of single-chip microcomputers, in fact, only a few brand companies’ single-chip microcomputer chips can occupy the global market for smart home appliances or electronically controlled machine tools and equipment.

Among them, the most well-known, oldest, and most widely used is the 51 series single-chip microcomputer chip, which is a single-chip microcomputer chip developed by Intel, and has a history of decades.

In addition, there are STM32 series single-chip microcomputer chips that represent high-end and use the ARM instruction set as the core, and…

At present, there are many companies manufacturing single-chip microcomputer chips, but there are very few domestic chip companies developing single-chip microcomputers, and the results are also very few.

At this time, the frenzy of smart home appliances has not officially erupted, and the official eruption is still in the era of big online shopping.

After people get used to comparison and more choices, it is the frenzy of the era of smart home appliances.

After all, in the Internet age, facing high-quality products from all over the country, consumers naturally give priority to purchasing smart home appliances.

The home appliances are old and cannot be controlled automatically, and people need to use manual control. How can this home appliance and even equipment be sold?

So major home appliance factories were forced to carry out technological changes, so that was the era of the explosion of smart home appliances, and the era when single-chip microcomputer chips fell into a sales frenzy!

At this time, if Lin Xuan’s Hantang Technology can develop a powerful and cheap single-chip microcomputer chip.

Then Hantang Technology may be able to eat the fattest piece of meat in the future tide of intelligent home appliances!

Lin Xuan does not expect too much from the MCU chip market, as long as 50% of Lin Xuan is enough!

Although it is only 50%, it is enough to create a company worth tens of billions of dollars, so Lin Xuan suggested Ni Guangnan to research and develop single-chip microcomputer chips at this time.

”Single-chip microcomputer chip?”

Ni Guangnan was a little moved.

Although the MCU is not a computer chip, if you use the analogy of an airplane and a bicycle.

The single-chip microcomputer is the simplest bicycle, while the computer chip is a complex airplane. The difficulty of design and manufacture between the two is completely different.

Under such circumstances, the input cost of single-chip microcomputer chips is naturally much smaller than that of computer chips. It seems that Lin Xuan can really support the research and development of single-chip microcomputer chips? !

”Yes, teacher, anyway, it doesn’t take many people to develop a single-chip microcomputer chip. Teacher, you can design it first.

Anyway, you are also simulating the design on the computer, and you don’t need to actually tape out the chip, and you don’t have to spend too much money in advance. ”

Hearing what Lin Xuan said, what else could Ni Guangnan say.

Compared with computer chips, single-chip microcomputers have great sales prospects after they are developed.

After researching and developing computer chips, we still have to face the terrifying Weiruan and Intel. It is very difficult to make money and realize it.

The cost of developing single-chip microcomputers is much lower, and there is indeed a huge vacancy in the field of domestic single-chip microcomputer chips.

Otherwise, the 51 series single-chip microcomputers from decades ago will not be allowed to occupy the teaching books of various technical secondary schools or junior colleges in Daxia.

At this time, if the Hantang single-chip microcomputer can replace Intel’s 51 series single-chip microcomputer, and replace the chips used by freshmen in various technical schools and colleges across the country, it will be a good thing for Daxia.

So what else could Ni Guangnan say at this time, he naturally nodded in agreement.

”Okay, but I still have to go back to the Xia Ke Academy and tell them about the situation. It’s an apology, and I’ll bring a few of my disciples over to work for you.”

”That would be great, I’ll pay them well!”

Hearing what Ni Guangnan said, Lin Xuan was naturally overjoyed.

With the small chip design team led by Ni Guangnan, Lin Xuan’s next task will be much easier.

Although Lin Xuan himself can develop a single-chip microcomputer chip, Lin Xuan has too many things to do, and he also has to manage the company. It can be said that various affairs are extremely busy.

At this time, academician Ni Guangnan and his postgraduate and doctoral students came to help him develop chips, which would be really great.

So after the two made up their minds and held a farewell banquet, Ni Guangnan got in a car and went to Rongcheng Airport to fly directly to the capital and return to Xiake Academy.

And Lin Xuan also began to solve the various difficulties the company is currently facing, that is, to solve the problem of paying for the 110 million new factory!

If Lin Xuan cannot pay 110 million before July 15, then Lin Xuan’s new factory will definitely not be able to land, and Lin Xuan will also become the laughing stock of the whole country.

A title such as ”great success”, ”blindly arrogant”, ”dare to break through without looking at the strength in front of you”.

will forcefully fall on Lin Xuan’s head and will never be able to remove it for a lifetime, so Lin Xuan is very busy with tasks!

So as Lin Xuan entered the working state, Hantang Company began to develop rapidly step by step.

On July 6, 2004, the president of a certain bank who blackmailed Linxuan suddenly came to apologize in person.

Claiming to be willing to loan 150 million yuan at a low interest rate to Hantang Technology Company as compensation for the previous unreasonable blacklisting of Linxuan.

As long as Hantang Company puts the company’s current account in the bank, it can get 150 million funds in lieu of low-interest loans.

In this regard, Lin Xuan shook his head and refused, claiming that he would never cooperate with a certain bank again, and the president of the bank left after hearing the words.

As soon as the news came out, there were heated discussions in all major news, and within two days, the president of the branch was investigated by the superiors.

In just a few days, it was found out that he was imprisoned for embezzling millions of dirty money. According to relevant people, he would not have to think about getting out within ten years.

On July 10, 2004, the senior vice president of Fuji Equipment flew directly from the island country to the overseas market, and then transferred to Rongcheng to visit Hantang Technology Company on the spot.
