Technological Empire Starts From Shanzhai System

Chapter 80: Unlimited doubts! (Part 2)
Chapter 80 Unlimited Questions! (Part 2)

This news will definitely shock Daxia, and Lin Xuan will definitely become the pride in the eyes of everyone in Daxia.

The reporters are all very smart people, and they are also people with a keen eye for news. At this time, hundreds of reporters have found that Lin Xuan’s way of breaking the situation with one stone is really wonderful!

Obviously, these guys don’t know how much it costs for a chip tapeout. If they knew how much it would cost, they would probably call Lin Xuan a prodigal.

At present, the world’s second-rate process technology, that is, the chip tape-out of the 65-nanometer process technology requires 6 million to 7 million chips at a time.

If a normal old chip design company designs a chip with an old architecture, it usually needs five or six times of tape-out to successfully develop a chip.

And some new companies that have just entered the chip design industry for a few years usually need more than a dozen tape-outs to succeed.

For example, in order to develop the surging S2 chip, later rice companies failed to rectify the chip five times!

Taking the best performance of a normal old chip design company when designing an old-architecture chip, that is, five or six times of tape-out of the chip, the price of just five tape-outs is as high as 35 million!

If it is a chip with a new architecture, even an old chip design company usually needs more than a dozen times to succeed.

Calculated based on the price of 12 tape-outs, that is 84 million, which is 84 million in 2004!

In later generations, Rebs of Rice Company once lamented at a certain meeting: ”Paper S2 tapes out 5 times, burning up Redmi’s profit for one year!”

What is even more frightening is that the surging S2 chip uses a 16-nanometer process, not the mainstream 14-nanometer process technology, nor is it 10-nanometer or the most advanced 7-nanometer process technology!

Every time the process technology advances one generation, the tape-out price will soar N times!

If Lin Xuan didn’t have the space for a counterfeit system, he could tape out countless times by himself, and with a perfect chip, he could finally tape it out in reality once.

That Lin Xuan wants to develop a chip to break the game, this is really a stupid decision in history!

But obviously these reporters don’t know the price of one tape-out. They also think that chip design companies only need simple design, and the cost of entering this industry is still very low.

At this time, a reporter questioned whether Lin Xuan could develop a mobile phone chip:

”Mr. Lin Xuan, although your method of breaking the game is very ingenious and can be said to kill three birds with one stone, the question is, can you really develop this chip?

I just heard what you said, this is you leading the chip design team to develop the chip?

After all, according to the information we have obtained, you are a student who has not graduated from high school. If you want to develop chips, you must at least reach the doctoral level.

Are you sure you can really lead the chip design team to develop such a mobile phone chip? ”

As the reporter voiced doubts, everyone on the scene looked at Lin Xuan with doubting eyes.

Although Lin Xuan’s method of breaking the situation is very ingenious, if the chip is successfully developed, then Lin Xuan will definitely be able to easily solve the immediate predicament.

But the problem is that the research and development of chips is not what you say you want to develop and develop successfully. If the chip problem is really so easy to solve, then there will not be only one Godson that can barely handle it.

So the chip problem is very difficult. If Lin Xuan can really develop it, then he will definitely be famous in Daxia.

But if the R&D fails, then Lin Xuan will become a laughing stock again, a laughing stock who dares to develop mobile phone chips because of his arrogance.

At this time, in front of so many reporters, Lin Xuan dared to announce the development of the chip on the spot, and the news of his announcement of the development of the chip will definitely be passed on to the entire Great Xia.

Given the difficulty of chip development, Lin Xuan will definitely not be able to develop it by then, so at this time, Lin Xuan’s behavior of announcing the development of chips prematurely at this time is a bit ignorant, a bit blindly arrogant?

”I believe Lin Xuan can develop such a mobile phone chip!”

When people look at Lin Xuan with questioning eyes, they don’t believe that Lin Xuan can really develop a mobile phone chip, and some people have even seriously questioned Lin Xuan’s IQ.

I feel that Lin Xuan announced the development of mobile phone chips at this time to break the situation, and he was a little confused and even ignorant.

Behind him, an old man said a word in a moderate voice. In an instant, all the reporters on the scene turned their heads to look behind Lin Xuan!

There! An old man with a flushed face was standing there, with infinite confidence on his face!

”That’s Ni Guangnan, Ni Guangnan from the Xia Ke Academy!”

Among the crowd, someone exclaimed in shock, with a look of horror in their eyes!

Ni Guangnan from the Xia Ke Academy should not be from the Xia Science Academy in the capital? Why did you suddenly come here, come here, come to Hantang Technology in Rongcheng? !

”I believe that Lin Xuan can lead the research team to develop mobile phone chips! Because he is my disciple, my most outstanding disciple!”

Amid the shocked eyes of the people, Ni Guangnan smiled slowly and told all the reporters that he believed in Lin Xuan!

If you do it, then we believe that Hantang Technology may really be able to develop such a chip! ”

But the reporters at this time obviously believed that the mobile phone chip that Lin Xuan was talking about was designed and developed by Ni Guangnan, not Lin Xuan, so they all showed expressions of sudden realization.

”You guys are wrong. This mobile phone chip was not designed and manufactured by me, but by Lin Xuan. I, an old fellow, will not take away my disciple’s research results!”

Ni Guangnan, who heard the reporter’s misunderstanding, naturally refuted the reporter’s words.

”Old Ni, you love your disciple so much that you actually want to give your disciple the honorable achievement of developing a mobile phone chip. Well, we understand, so you don’t need to say more.”

At this time, all the reporters nodded with expressions we all understand, and they skipped the matter, instantly stunned Ni Guangnan.

While Ni Guangnan was in a daze, those reporters also collected the news they wanted, and achieved the purpose of collecting news this time, so they all cupped their hands and said goodbye to Lin Xuan:

”Mr. Lin, thank you very much for accepting our interview, then we will retreat first, thank you.”

All the reporters didn’t wait for Lin Xuan to treat them politely or even let Lin Xuan treat them to dinner, etc. At this time, they got the big news, and they were rushing back to report the news and information they got in this interview.

So they walked quickly one by one, and in less than ten seconds, they left a distant figure behind the employees of Hantang Technology.
